The invention relates to a device for separating standing in stacks fed flat objects, such as envelopes, cards, mailing bags, Bags, parcels or printed matter, consisting of one that is transverse to the feed direction arranged objects transporting, from an endlessly revolving Traction device formed conveyor and the conveyor end of the conveyor assigned separating device in the conveying direction of the Conveyor device is designed to be deliverable against the front end of the stack and a trigger section facing the flat side of the foremost object a conveyor run driven at right angles to the conveying direction of the stack an endlessly rotating conveyor belt.
A device of this type is described in WO 96/22242. The one on the front Stacking leaning isolation device proves to be sluggish in their Effect in processing the flat objects and it leads to the quick changing relationships to interruptions, which are only fixed manually and can therefore take up valuable production time.
Another disadvantage is the separating device leaning against the end of the stack, by sticking the abutting flat objects favored, so that errors occur when removing at the end of the stack, for example Double or blank deductions.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a device of the type mentioned to create, when using the disadvantages mentioned do not occur and the a responsive processing of the objects guaranteed.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the separating device to initiate a backward or forward movement at least one facing the front end of the stack of the transported objects Has transducer.
Thus, the invention breaks new ground by adding more to the end of the stack Transfer movements and a certain loosening of the stack in the detection zone created and thereby a reliable separation of the individual Objects are brought from the stack.
The invention is further characterized in that the transmitter for measurement its distance from the front end of the stack by means of a physical quantity is formed and that the measured distance values the movements or are assigned to a standstill of the separating device, light such as for example laser or infrared, sound such as ultrasound or a Force, for example mechanically or pneumatically generated, as physical quantities can be used.
To achieve optimal loosening in the detection zone and for alternating Exemption of the sensor from the end of the stack, it is advantageous if the backward movement of the separating device is the same or has greater speed than the conveyor.
It proves to be practical and simple if the transmitter is connected to a motor-driven frame of the separating device is attached so that a direct functional connection between conveyor device and separating device can arise.
To achieve automatic processing of the objects by the proposed It is preferable to set up the transmitter with one a drive device generating the movements of the separating device acting control device is connected.
The transmitter is preferably a measuring section divided into sections assigned, among other things allowed the movements of the separating device assigned to the sections in order to process the To be able to carry out objects.
For this purpose, the sections of the measuring section are advantageously each backward or forward movement or a standstill of the separating device assigned so that precise control of the facility can be done.
It proves to be particularly simple when the separation device is at a standstill assigned section between that of the backward and that of the forward directed movement of the separating device associated section is arranged so that clear tax relationships can arise.
The sensor is expedient because it is physically located on the measuring section changing size or by a changing element educated.
If the stack on the conveyor shows one against the processing the separating device on too high speed, then is advantageous to the backward movement path of the separating device Switching position arranged through which the drive of the conveyor of the stack interrupted and the separating device the section of the measuring section is controlled accordingly.
The conveying device can be covered by a forward movement Distance of the separating device are put into operation again.

Stapel abzusaugen und seitlich wegzuziehen ( siehe Fig. 2 bis 4).1 to 5 illustrate a device 1 for separating from one
Fig. 1 durch A, A' bezeichnet ist.
Zugmittel 14, Kette oder Zahnriemen, erzielt werden.1 shows the device 1 in the starting position, in which the

jeweils Sender und Empfänger aufweisen.A

Obschon in Fig. 1 gemäss Darstellung

A mechanical device would, for example, be a touch probe

The mode of operation of the device 1 is described in individual sequences with reference to FIG. 2 to 5 explained.
3 momentan aufgehoben. Dadurch hat der Messwertgeber 16 auf der
Messstrecke 18 die rückwärts gerichtete Bewegung der Vereinzelungsvorrichtung 7
eingeleitet, wie dies durch Fig. 2 vermittelt wird. 2, the stack formed from

d.h. von der vorderen Endlage A, A' entfernt.
