Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum alternativen Herstellen eines warmgewalzten Bandes (24), eines warmverformten Vorstreifens (14) oder einer unverformten Bramme aus Stahl mit Hilfe des Stranggießverfahrens sind zwecks Erzielung einer hohen Produktqualität für möglichst dünne Bänder und zur Erzielung einer hohen Betriebsflexibilität nachfolgende Merkmale einzeln oder in Kombination verwirklicht:

  • Gießen eines Stranges (4) in Brammendicke (2) in einer Durchlaufkokille (1), die einen durchlaufend gleichbleibenden Querschnitt aufweist,
  • einen ersten Verformungsschritt, beinhaltend ein Verformen des einen flüssigen Kern aufweisenden Stranges (4) zur Verminderung dessen Dicke (2),
  • einen zweiten Verformungsschritt, beinhaltend ein Verformen des bereits durcherstarrten Stranges (4) zur weiteren Dickenreduktion desselben auf ein Format (12) eines Vorstreifens, und
  • einen dritten Verformungsschritt, beinhaltend ein Verformen von vom Strang (4) abgetrennten Strangstücken (14), die vorzugsweise ein Format (12) eines Vorstreifens aufweisen, durch Warmwalzen der Strangstücke (14).
