Description

The invention relates to a press section of a machine for producing a Fibrous web, in particular paper and / or cardboard web, with at least two in Web running direction extended press nips, each between a rotating flexible press belt of a shoe press unit and a counter surface are formed, against which the flexible press belt by at least one of the respective Shoe press unit associated press shoe is pressable, the respective Press nip length at least essentially by the measured in the web running direction Press shoe length of the assigned shoe press unit is determined and the Shoe press units to form press gaps of different lengths at least sometimes have different press shoe lengths.

The advantages of the long-nip presses known per se exist u. a. in that the Press nip is no longer essentially linear, but is flat, so that the still wet fibrous web in the press nip over a longer distance Pressing pressure is exposed and is therefore drained more intensively. In addition, the Pressure in the press nip no longer suddenly, this can be from one low value, for example, continuously brought to a high value, which counteracts the risk that the fibrous web will squeeze in the press nip becomes.

In the previously common press sections of the type mentioned have the different shoe press units assigned to different press nips Press shoes or press shoes of the same length, so that in the press section Press gaps of the same length result.

In EP 0 496 965 and DE 296 13 944, however, are also already Press arrangements with different press shoe lengths described. Have this but not an optimization of the drainage process to the goal.

The aim of the invention is to create a press section of the type mentioned at the beginning, which are kept as simple and compact as possible Shoe press units ensure optimal treatment of the fibrous web.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the in The web running direction considers the first press nip generated line force smaller than that in the line pressure generated in the web running direction viewed last is or that that assigned to the first press nip viewed in the direction of web travel Shoe press unit has a press shoe length that is about two to five times as large like that of the shoe press unit, the last one viewed in the direction of web travel Press nip is assigned or that the first viewed in the direction of web travel Press nip associated shoe press unit has a smaller press shoe length than that assigned to the last press nip viewed in the direction of web travel Shoe press unit and a preferably double-felted first shoe press Roller press and a second shoe press follows the roller press.

In the case of an alternative embodiment variant, this has in the direction of web travel considered the first press nip associated shoe press unit a larger one Press shoe length as the shoe press unit that is viewed in the web travel direction last press nip is assigned.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the press section according to the invention is characterized in that three shoe press units are provided that the the shoe press unit associated with the first press nip viewed in the web running direction has a larger press shoe length than the middle shoe press unit and that the Press shoe length of the middle shoe press unit is greater than that of Shoe press unit, the last press nip viewed in the direction of web travel assigned.

It is particularly advantageous if the press shoe lengths are in the direction of web travel considers the first press nip associated with the shoe press unit, the middle one Shoe press unit and the last press nip viewed in the direction of web travel assigned shoe press unit in a ratio of 3: 2: 1 to each other. alternative these press shoe lengths can also be in a ratio of 3.5: 1.5: 1 to each other.

The line forces generated in the different press nips can be according to a alternative embodiment variant preferably also at least essentially be the same size.

Are the line forces generated in the different press nips at least sometimes also different, so the line forces in the direction of web travel considered preferably to increase from press nip to press nip.

A relatively low line force in the first press nip viewed in the web running direction brings the decisive advantage that compact shoe press units and in the case of shoe press rolls, press rolls of smaller diameter are used can be. In the case of a shoe press roll, for example, the diameter are less than one meter.

It is also particularly advantageous if they are in the different press nips resulting pressure profiles are at least partially different. Here it can yourself both around the resulting transverse to the web running direction as well the pressure profiles resulting in the direction of web travel.

Also the lubrication of the various shoe press units by oil, water and / or the like can at least partially be different.

Further advantageous design variants are in the subclaims specified the press section according to the invention.

The invention is also applicable to the cases where one respective counter surface is formed by a counter roller and this counter roll several, for example two Shoe press units are assigned.

Figure 1 shows a purely schematic partial representation Press section 10 of a machine for producing a fibrous web such as in particular a paper and / or cardboard web.

The press section 10 comprises two elongated in the web running direction L. Press nips 12, 14, each between a rotating flexible press belt 16, 18 of a shoe press unit 20, 22 and a counter surface 24 are formed, against which the flexible Press belt 16, 18 by at least one of the respective Shoe press unit 20, 22 associated press shoe 26, 28 can be pressed is.

In the present case, the counter surface 24 is by a common, So-called central counter-roller 30 is formed, the are assigned to two shoe press units 20, 22.

The respective press nip length is at least essentially by the length of the press shoe measured in the web running direction L. at least one press shoe 26, 28 of the associated Shoe press unit 20, 22 determined.

The press nips 12, 14 are felted on one side in the present case, why a common, guided over deflection rollers 32, 34 Screen or felt belt 36 is used.

18 dient. In the illustrated embodiment, the shoe press units 20, 22 each formed by a shoe press roll, the all-round flexible press jacket as press belt 16 or 18 serves.

As can be seen in Figure 1, the shoe press units have 20, 22 different press shoe lengths, so that accordingly Press gaps 12, 14 of different lengths also result.

In the present case, it has the direction of web travel L looks at front press nip 12 associated shoe press unit 20 a larger press shoe length than that in the web running direction L considered rear press nip 22 associated Shoe press unit 22. Here, the press shoe length of Shoe press unit 20, for example, two to five times as large like that of the shoe press unit 22.

In the embodiment shown in Figure 2 are three Shoe press units 40, 42, 44 provided, each one the counter roll 46, 48, 50 forming the relevant counter surface 24 assigned.

62 dient. The shoe press units 40, 42, 44 are each in turn as Shoe press roll formed, the flexible roll shell as Press belt 16, 18 and 62 is used.

The resulting three press nips 12, 14, 52 can be felted on one or both sides, whereby in the present If the press nips 12, 52 each have an upper sieve or Felt belt 54 or 58, the press nip 14 a lower wire or Felt belt 56 and the press nip 12 also a lower one Sieve or felt belt 64 is assigned.

While looking in the web running direction L the first and the second shoe press unit 40, 42 each under the assigned Counter roller 46 and 48 is arranged, is the third Shoe press unit 44 above the associated counter roll 50 intended.

In this case too, the shoe press units 40, 42, 44 press shoes 26, 28, 60 of different lengths. In the illustrated The embodiment has that in the direction of web travel L considers the first press nip 12 associated shoe press unit 40 a larger press shoe length than the middle Shoe press unit 42, while the shoe press length of this middle Shoe press unit 42 is in turn larger than that of the Shoe press unit 44, which is viewed in the web running direction L. last press nip 52 is assigned.

The line forces generated in the different press nips can either be the same size or at least partially different his. This is advantageously in the direction of web travel considers the first nip generated line force smaller than the last one viewed in the direction of web travel Press nip generated line force, the line forces in The web running direction is preferably viewed from the press nip Press nip can be larger. In addition, the at least the pressure profiles resulting from the various press nips sometimes be different. After all, it is conceivable, at least for the different shoe press units to provide different lubrication in some cases.
