Claims (9)

  1. An actuating device (10) for actuation of electrical contacts comprising an electromagnet (16) with a plunger core (17), a bistable operating mechanism of at least one electrical contact and transmission means for transmitting the movement of the electromagnet (16) to this mechanism, characterized in that the above-mentioned transmission means comprise a sword (19) arranged externally to the electromagnet and coupled on the one hand to said plunger core (17) and on the other hand to said mechanism, said mechanism comprising a pivoting cylinder (23) mounted on a fixed rotation spindle (24), said cylinder (23) being coupled on the one hand to the sword and on the other hand to a rod (25) articulated on a second fixed spindle (26) of the case, and a compression spring (29) designed to urge the cylinder (23) to one or the other of the two stable equilibrium positions.
  2. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that said cylinder (23) comprises a cam-shaped recess (30) and that said sword (19) comprises a lateral dog-pin (31) at its free end, this dog-pin being engaged in said cam-shaped recess (30) of said cylinder (23).
  3. The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said sword (19) is articulated at its end opposite from said lateral dog-pin (31) on a transverse spindle (21) fixedly secured to a cap (20) mounted on the head of the plunger core (17).
  4. The device according to claim 2, characterized in that said cam-shaped recess (30) comprises a first hollow (32) and a second hollow (34), these hollows being arranged to alternately house said lateral dog-pin (31) and to act as bearing surfaces to make said cylinder (23) move from one of its stable positions to the other.
  5. The device according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the bistable operating mechanism (18) comprises the cylinder (23) pivoting around said fixed rotation spindle (24), a rod (25) articulated on a second fixed spindle (26) of the case, the cylinder being coupled to the rod by means of a dog-pin (27) fixedly secured to the cylinder (23) (or to the rod) engaged in an oblong opening (28) provided in the rod (25) (or respectively in the cylinder), and a compression spring (29) bearing on the one hand against the above-mentioned dog-pin (27) and on the other hand against the rod (25) (or respectively the cylinder).
  6. The device according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the bistable operating mechanism comprises the cylinder (23) pivoting around said fixed rotation spindle (24), a rod (25) connected in articulated manner via one of its ends to the cylinder (23) and the opposite end whereof comprises an oblong opening (28) co-operating with a dog-pin (27) fixedly secured to a fixed support (41) of the case and a compression spring bearing on the one hand on the dog-pin (27) and on the other hand on the rod (25).
  7. The device according to any one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the bistable operating mechanism comprises the cylinder (23) pivoting around said fixed rotation spindle (24), a rod (25) articulated via one of its ends on said cylinder (23) and comprising at its opposite end a dog-pin (27) engaged in an oblong opening (28) arranged in a fixed support (41) of the case, and a compression spring (29) bearing on the one hand on the fixed support (41) and on the other hand on the dog-pin (27).
  8. The device according to any one of the claims 2 to 7, characterized in that said cam-shaped recess (30) comprises a guiding face (33) which joins the two hollows (32 and 34) and is arranged to perform guiding of the lateral dog-pin (31) when the plunger core (17) and the sword joined to this core returns to its initial position.
  9. The device according to any one of the claims 2 to 7, characterized in that said cam-shaped recess (30) defines a closed cam for said lateral dog-pin (31) of said sword (19) for transmission of the movement of the plunger core (17) to the operating mechanism (18).
