An den Steckverbindungspartnern befinden sich dabei dann etwa tulpenförmige Buchsenkontakte. Während Letztere normalerweise im Inneren von Isolierstoffgehäusen liegen und von daher berührungsgeschützt sind, gilt dieses häufig für die Kontaktstifte nicht. Auch hier aber besteht der Wunsch nach einem Berührungsschutz. Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt von daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Kontaktstift mit Fingersicherheit zu schaffen, ohne daß dabei die Kontaktfunktion beeinträchtigt wird.
