Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fuel feed pump for a
Fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines according to the
Genus of
In such fuel delivery pumps is in one Pump chamber a rotatingly driven pair with each other Intermeshing gears are provided which have fuel from one a suction tank connected along a suction tank between the face of the gears and the peripheral wall the pumping chamber formed in a conveying channel with the Fuel injection pump promotes connected pressure chamber. On A shaft is attached to a gear wheel, which is connected to the Shaft attacking drive element is driven to rotate. The drive element is outside the housing of the pump chamber provided and transmits the rotary movement by means of a Front toothing or cross disc clutch on one with the first gear meshing second gear on a housing-bearing axis is arranged. Such Drive elements are non-rotatable with the drive shaft connected. With such gear pumps is immediately after the startup process required that with a relative low speed by the low speed of the Starter motor is justified, a high flow rate is required to the pipes and the suction chamber of the Fuel injection pump to fill quickly and under pressure too put.
However, the known fuel delivery pump has the Disadvantage of that when commissioned Internal combustion engine through the fuel delivery pump amount of fuel delivered is significantly higher than that for the amount of fuel required for combustion. Furthermore can a jamming or blocking of the gears Damage to the connection between the drive element and occur of the driven shaft of the first gear.
The fuel delivery pump according to the invention for a Has fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines on the other hand the advantage that through the intermediary an overload safety device between the Drive element and a first gear driving Avoid excessive pressure in the pressure chamber can be. Furthermore, the overload safety device an exceeding of a reaction moment of the maximum transmissible torque can be avoided. This can result in a jamming or blocking of the Gears through the overload safety device Decoupling between the drive element and the shaft be made possible, whereby an overuse of the shaft in Housing can be avoided. Furthermore, this shows Overload safety device has the advantage that a Compensation in the event of an axis interlock between the axis of the Shaft and the axis of the drive element can be given. In addition, such an overload safety device an axial distance between the Compensate the shaft and the drive element. By a such a simple connection between the drive element and the shaft can avoid fretting corrosion be made possible. It can also improve Suitability for dry running compared to one from the prior art known cross disk clutch or the like be. Furthermore, there is none when joining the coupling link angular orientation required, e.g. at a cross disc clutch.
Further advantages and advantageous configurations of the The invention relates to the description of Drawing and the claims can be found.

verbunden ist.1 and 2 are different views of a

The
For pressure control of the delivery pressure in the
The
The
Bei einem Verklemmen oder Blockieren der Zahnräder 7, 9
übersteigt das Reaktionsmoment das maximal übertragbare
Drehmoment und das Verbindungselement 34 rutscht auf der
Welle 5 durch bzw. die Bohrung 31 des Antriebselementes 8
rutscht auf dem Verbindungselement 34 durch. Das
Antriebselement 8 erleidet dadurch keine Überbeanspruchung.
Dadurch kann der nicht dargestellte Antrieb des
Antriebselementes 8 geschützt werden.If the
In Abhängigkeit des Durchmessers des Verbindungselementes 34
kann das maximal übertragbare Drehmoment bestimmbar sein.
Vorteilhafterweise ist für das Verbindungselment 34 ein
temperaturbeständiger Kunststoff, vorzugsweise ein
Flurelastomer, vorgesehen.Depending on the diameter of the connecting
The advantage can be achieved by this simple connection
that fretting rust can be avoided. About that

As an alternative to the exemplary embodiment described above
be provided that instead of the O-
Überlast-Sicherungsvorrichtungen 10 hintereinander geschaltet
sein können. Dadurch kann vorteilhafterweise ein größerer
Ausgleich der gegebenenfalls nicht koaxial zueinander
verlaufenden Längsachse 37 der Welle 5 und Längsachse 38 des
Antriebselementes 8 gegeben sein.Alternatively, it can also be provided that the
