Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine liegende, für das direkte oder indirekte Preßverfahren ausgebildete Metallstrangpresse, die mit zwei oder mehreren in einem Hauptzylinderholm (21) zusammengefaßten Zylinder (23) und in diesen bewegten Hauptkolben (24) mit Kolbenstangen (25) versehen ist, wobei die Kolbenstangen (25) mit einem ortsfest verankerten Gegenholm (22) verbunden sind, der Gegenholm (22) eines der Preßwerkzeuge und der in Richtung der Pressenachse zum Gegenholm (22) verschiebbare Hauptzylinderholm (21) das andere der Preßwerkzeuge trägt, und weitere Kolben-Zylinder-Einheiten (34) für den Leerhub und Rückzug des Hauptzylinderholms (21) vorgesehen sind. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, den durch die Ausbildung und Anordnung der Ladevorrichtung bei den bekannten Pressen gegebenen Nachteil zu beheben.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß der Durchbruch (50) im Hauptzylinderholm (21) mit einer für das Einbringen eines Blockes längs der Pressenachse durch den Durchbruch (50) hindurch in den Aufnehmer (28) der Presse geeignete Bemessung und der Hauptzylinderholm (21) an seiner dem Gegenholm (22) zugewandten Stirnfläche mit einer rechtwinklig auf die Pressenachse gerichteten Führung (40) versehen ist, in der ein Halter (41, 51) für den Preßstempel (27) beim direkten bzw. die Verschlußscheibe (52) beim indirekten Preßverfahren quer zur Pressenachse verschiebbar und damit den Durchbruch (50) im Hauptzylinderholm (21) in Richtung der Pressenachse freigebend angeordnet ist, so daß ein Laden der zur Verpressung kommenden Blöcke unabhängig davon, ob die Presse in direktem oder indirektem Preßverfahren betrieben wird, in Richtung der Pressenachse durch den Durchbruch im Hauptzylinderholm in gleicher Weise erfolgen kann.
