Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for Identification of container types, especially bottle types, in a sequence of different types of containers, or bottles.
- the invention further relates to a device to carry out the procedure.
- bottles because of their shape to sort, e.g. in bottle sorting systems for returning Reusable bottles, which are not permitted Bottle shapes or bottle types of permitted bottle shapes or types must be distinguished.
- sorting should e.g. recognized such bottle types and be distinguished from each other for the further treatment (washing, refilling) can be used are and those that derive from the bottle flow are and not to be refilled as they are not among those Bottle types belong to that of their shape Contents are associated.
- This task is carried out in a process of type mentioned above by the characteristic features of claim 1 or solved by a device the features of claim 5.
- the solution according to the invention with the container bottle reflected light beam enables one simple structure, arranged only on one side of the container in contrast to systems with transmission of light work through the container. It can be an inexpensive one constant light source can be used, in contrast to those required for camera systems Fluorescent screens and flash sources. Suffice as sensors cheap, space-saving, light-sensitive standard components unlike special cameras.
- the shape differences between permitted container types and not allowed types can be very small be. Through the reflection or deflection of the light beam can also make very small shape differences on simple Be measurable.
- Figure 1 shows a part of a rough schematic Device on the basis of which the method is explained can be.
- a container 1 which is shown in the An example is a plastic bottle in one Conveyor shown.
- the conveyor a known carousel conveyor. This has one of the plurality of conveyor pockets 15 in which the containers are standing.
- a light source 5 is arranged on a static element 2, which has a light beam 6 at an angle ⁇ to the horizontal sends out towards the container.
- the light source 5 can e.g. from a laser or a light emitting diode be educated.
- two photosensitive sensors 10 and 11 are arranged, which e.g. are formed by photodiodes.
- the electrical output signals from the sensors are sent to a only output evaluation device shown as block 12, which determines on the basis of the sensor signals in order what type of container it is, as below is still described.
- the light source 5 and the sensors 10 and 11 on a common Carrier 13 arranged, which is arranged adjustable in height is, e.g. with a height adjustment accuracy of ⁇ 0.5 mm, so that from the light source and the sensors formed measuring system adapted to the container to be recognized can be.
- Another is preferably not shown Sensor available, which determines whether the container is in a predetermined target position. For the measurement it is important that the container is held in a correct target position.
- a guide can also be provided in the area of the light beam 6 17 for the container, which e.g. a Has opening 18 for the light beam.
- Figure 2 shows the output signals in tabular form of sensors 10 and 11 and the one to be obtained therefrom Information about, the shape or the bottle type.
- the sensor signals are in the table as 1 and 0, where 1 means that the sensor detects the Beam of light receives and 0 means that the sensor detects the Beam of light does not receive. Accordingly, the reception of the light beam through the sensor 10 according to the light beam path 8 that bottle shape 1 ′′ is present in FIG. 1, which corresponds to bottle type X. The sensor 11 this results in the output signal 0.
- Sensor 11 receives the light beam 7, this corresponds to a sensor signal 1 of sensor 11 and a sensor signal 0 of sensor 10, which means the existence of bottle type Y, which in 1 with its shape 1 'is shown.
- Figure 3 shows roughly another Embodiment of the method or the device.
- a container 20 is shown, which is also on a conveyor carousel or on a linear conveyor system can be located on which a fanned out, wider Beam of light 21 or a band-shaped bundle of beams of light is judged.
- the two sensors 10 and 11 is a variety of stringed sensors, e.g. a photodiode array is provided, on which the Variety of light rays 21 due to the shape of the Container 20 depending on the type of container in different ways and Way to be reflected.
- the signals from the photodiode array 22 are delivered to an evaluation device 23 in which due to the distribution of the reflected light rays on the different photo sensors on the respective one Bottle shape is closed.
- the evaluation device 23 can be a kind of spectral representation Use the evaluation, as in the figure in the box 23 indicated, the individual on a horizontal straight line Photo detectors are applied and in vertical Representation shows the received light intensity is. This results in a for each bottle shape characteristic spectrum and the evaluation can by a pattern recognition of these spectra takes place. To this In this way, more bottle shapes can be differentiated detect and differentiate than with the two sensors 10 and 11 of Figure 1.
