Description

The invention relates to an electrical cable according to the preamble of Claim 1.

A generic electrical cable is suitable preferably as a medium voltage cable for voltages between 10 and 50 kV or also as high-voltage cable up to 420 kV.

A known electrical cable according to US-5,281,757 consists essentially of a centrally arranged, several copper or aluminum wires stranded together generated electrical conductor and ring-shaped from the latter enclosing multi-layer insulation, which from a Conductor surrounding first semiconductor layer, one made of an aging-resistant Plastic, for example made of cross-linked polyethylene, existing insulation sheath, a second semiconductor layer, a Swelling tape, a neutral conductor and one made of plastic manufactured outer jacket is manufactured. The ring-shaped in cross section The neutral conductor is from a band around the source band, this completely enveloping metal foil tape formed with its band edges forms an overlap point. This metal foil is glued together at this point of overlap.

In this known multi-layer cable, the aim is that the metal foil almost floating between the outer Sheath and the layer adjacent to the inside is arranged. Here However, there is no guarantee that a crack in the outer jacket an intrusion of fluid between these and the Foil and thus a correlation of the metal foil is prevented. In addition, there is a gap between the outer jacket and Metal foil is no longer given a full temperature conductivity, which in the event of a short circuit is more likely to destroy the Can lead metal foil. Furthermore, the isolation through the Layer between the metal foil and the internal semiconductor not beneficial.

In a known power cable according to DE A-27 39 572 becomes a on a layer surrounding the conductor Protective cover glued on, for example from a lead foil and a plastic layer, e.g. Polymer and / or other. This protective cover is glued at an overlap point put together. This sticking is a relatively large amount of work connected and requires that the adhesive hold together permanently, otherwise when loosening it at the overlap point protection against the ingress of liquid is no longer guaranteed is. There is also a power cord Another disadvantage is that the metal foil and the outer jacket polymer layer forming the outside of the cable with the Form overlap. The one associated with this overlap serial Increasing the cable rounding is when pulling the cable through through a shaft or the like of increased wear exposed, quickly causing damage to the metal foil can lead.

In contrast, the object of the present invention is an electric cable according to the type described above to further develop that in the case of this being easier Manufacturing neither liquid nor moisture, especially Water vapor, can penetrate inside and with this one increased resistance to aging compared to conventional cables is achieved.

According to the invention the object is characterized by the characterizing part of the claim 1 solved.

In a very advantageous embodiment, this metal screen is on its entire inside with a semiconductor designed Provide adhesive, which is designed as a film and before Finishing the cable attached to the inside of the metal screen is.

This electric cable according to the invention offers simple and consequently, cost-effective manufacture, absolute tightness especially before moisture and liquid penetration. In addition, the inside of this metal shade protected against corrosion by the adhesive film attached to it.

An embodiment of the invention and further advantages thereof are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1
the only figure is a perspective view of an electrical cable according to the invention, illustrated on the front side in section.

Die Bandränder überlappen sich dabei um einen Winkel von wenigstens 10°, sie könnten sich aber soweit überlappen, dass dieser Metall schirm zweioder mehrfach um das Kabelinnere ummantelt wäre.1 shows an electrical cable 10, which is particularly suitable for medium voltages in a voltage range between 10 and 50 kV or for high voltages up to 420 kV and one centrically arranged, made of several copper or aluminum wires 14 or the like produced electrical Conductor 12 and a multilayer enclosing it Isolation system includes. The latter has a electrical conductor 12 surrounding semiconductor layer 15, one of these comprehensive insulation sleeve 16, an outer semiconductor layer 17, a metal shield which surrounds the latter and serves as a neutral conductor 20 and an outer jacket 18. For the metal screen 20 is an aluminum foil tape is provided, which runs along the cable is placed around the outer semiconductor layer 17 and such Width that there is a along the cable 10th extending overlap point 22 forms. The band edges overlap at an angle of at least 10 °, they could but overlap so far that this metal screen two or would be sheathed several times around the inside of the cable.

According to the invention, the metal screen 20 is at its overlap point 22 continuously over the entire cable length an adhesive 23 sealingly joined together and thus forms a liquid and vapor impermeable protective sleeve inside the cable. The adhesive 23 is on the entire inside the metal screen 20 attached, advantageously as a semiconductor film trained and prior to manufacturing the cable by a pressing process glued to the inside of the metal screen 20. Conveniently the adhesive 23 exposes itself essentially an adhesive material and chemically produced carbon black and its formation as a semiconductor enables an electrical Contact from the metal screen to the outer semiconductor layer 17 in spite of the full range between them Adhesive film.

It is advantageous between the outer semiconductor layer 17 and the metal screen 20 is also a semiconductor Source tape 19 inserted, which primarily has two functions. If the outer layer of the cable is damaged, which has, among other things, cracked the metal screen this swelling band 19 the water penetrating into the interior of the cable as well as the moisture and the strong swelling The same will cause the water to continue flowing in the longitudinal direction of the cable prevented. In addition, this swelling band 19 due to its elastic design, a cushion function in particular the outer diameter when the cable is installed changing insulation sleeve 16 and this surrounding semiconductor layer 17. This swelling band 19 is out a nonwoven fabric or the like with one on the inside like also plastic coating applied on the outside manufactured, the latter being mixed with carbon particles, which gives the source tape the semiconducting property as a whole to lend.

In the manufacture of such an electrical cable 10 according to the invention become the first semiconductor layer one after the other 15, the insulation sleeve 16 and the outer semiconductor layer 17 raised. Then the swelling tape 19 is around the outer semiconductor layer 17 applied and then the band-shaped Metal screen 20 placed around it and at the overlap point 22 by warming it up to approximately 120 °, for example Celsius glued. Finally, the outer jacket 18, in which a tough polyethylene insulation material is used to the Metal screen 20 pulled up, creating a flawless Adhesion of this outer jacket to the metal screen advantageous when pulling between them a vacuum or a partial vacuum is generated, or the outer jacket 18 by means of a press extrusion is applied to the metal screen 20, where it is pulled onto the metal screen with pressure.

Such an electrical cable usually has an outside diameter between 10 and 70 millimeters. It will be single or used as a three-wire cable, in the latter case of application the three individual cables are stranded together and by are held together in a comprehensive coat.

The foil tape used as a metal screen can in principle also made of copper or another electrically conductive material be. The point of overlap of this film strip must also do not necessarily run parallel to the conductor along the cable, but the film could also be helical or in a row following layers around the cable.

Theoretically, three could be surrounded by a semiconductor layer electrical conductors spaced from each other and be surrounded by an insulation material. These three In total, conductors would be of a metal screen leading around this encased, which in turn is an overlap point would have, which by means of on the inside of the metal screen provided adhesive over the entire cable length a hermetically sealed connection of the one above the other Would form band edges.
