Definitions

  • the invention relates to a new type of mat connector for adjacent steel mesh mats, in which the vertical bars to be connected, which are arranged approximately in parallel, are spaced apart, comprising a w-shaped clamp in the initial state, bent from a sheet metal, the middle leg of which is shorter than the outer legs.
  • a clamp connection is also known, in which under Recess of the vertical bars and the horizontal bars at the same height grasping, abutting steel mesh mats in a form-fitting manner, after they have been formed by a pair of pliers.
  • Round wire clips are made from an "elkosta brochure" 8.80 / 25-A-Do Stainless steel for wrapping wire mesh with the help of a special Wire clip pliers known.
  • FR-PS 774948 there is a pair of pliers for compressing one Cross connector with ends of U-shaped cross section for orthogonal individual rods aligned to each other, which together form a cross point form, described.
  • a graceful fence connector which is C-shaped in the basic form and is bent in an O-shape around two abutting vertical bars of adjacent mats.
  • a suitable assembly tool for such c-shaped connectors is also shown.
  • the invention is based on the problem of creating a mat connector to overcome the problems, which can be reshaped with an appropriately designed assembly tool. According to the invention, the problem is solved by claim 1 . Advantageous further developments of the invention are covered in the subclaims.
  • the mat connector for vertical bars that are arranged in parallel at such a small distance from one another and is to be connected is characterized by a w-shape, which was bent from a developed sheet and is designed in such a way that the resistance of a middle leg to be arranged between the two vertical bars is greater against deformation is than the resistance of the two outer legs. It is thereby achieved that the spacing of the vertical bars from one another, which is predetermined by the w-shape or the width of the central leg, is not changed by the subsequent reshaping of the clamp, and thus an exact parallel alignment of the vertical bars is possible.
  • the middle leg can be U-shaped or N-shaped and the width of the U can be adapted to the desired distance between the vertical bars.
  • the length of the middle leg ie the depth at which the middle leg protrudes between the two vertical bars, can in principle be determined as desired.
  • the middle leg can elegantly have different shape depths.
  • the middle leg is shaped so that it projects beyond the diameter of the vertical rods by a leg thickness or ends with the diameter, which results in a B-shape of the connector in the final state after subsequent shaping of the outer legs of the clamp. This is a very stable shape, especially since the bent outer legs either lean against the middle leg or lie opposite with their end faces. It is also conceivable that the middle leg is inserted only up to about half the diameter of the vertical rods, so that an 8-shape results after the outer legs are closed.
  • the length of the mat connector should be at least three times the thickness of the vertical rods and the width of the connector as well, in order to to obtain a sufficiently large section modulus on the one hand and on the other hand to avoid twisting the clamp.
  • the mat connector has, transversely to its longitudinal axis, a recess or notch which extends through all the legs and is in common alignment and which extends from the open side of the clamp in the initial state up to a maximum of half the height of the middle leg.
  • a clamp to be placed at an intersection of the horizontal and vertical bars.
  • the mats are fixed to each other in the horizontal and at the same time in the vertical direction.
  • part of the outer legs lies above and part below a horizontal bar, closed around the vertical bar.
  • Such a mat connector can, however, equally well be used to connect only two vertical bars.
  • the mat connector can additionally be provided with a position securing device, for example a bead or nose, which penetrates or claws into the superficial plastic covering of the rods, but at least produces a higher frictional connection than a smooth inner surface of the mat connector.
  • a position securing device for example a bead or nose, which penetrates or claws into the superficial plastic covering of the rods, but at least produces a higher frictional connection than a smooth inner surface of the mat connector.
  • the abutment can be designed so that it has a bump on which the middle leg of the w-shaped clamp can be put on, so that it does not slip out of the pliers during assembly. This is particularly desirable when the w-shaped bracket with outside open legs is provided so that only one linear contact of the outer legs of the clamp with the cheeks is given during assembly.
  • Fig. 1 shows a, generally designated 3, w-shaped mat connector, which has a central leg area and whose width B is determined by the outer legs L and R, which is inclined slightly outwards, two parallel vertical bars 1 and 2 adjacent to each other Grip around steel mesh mats.
  • the steel mesh mats themselves are not shown.
  • the middle leg area which is made of an angled sheet metal clamp, is provided with a greater resistance to deformation, which results, among other things, from the u-shape or n-shape of the middle leg area.
  • the person skilled in the art can also adjust the resisting or deforming resistance by means of parameters, some of which cannot be represented in the drawing, such as material, leg opening width, leg shaping such as beads or meanders or, according to FIG.
  • the middle leg area consists of an approximately parallel, but possibly also at a slightly diverging angular position, extending to the outer legs left middle leg ML and a mirror-image, likewise shaped, right middle leg MR, which are connected to each other by an upper middle leg MO.
  • the distance A between the two limbs ML, MR determines the length of the limb MO and can range from zero to a desired value, although it should be attempted that the area does not substantially exceed twice the limb thickness of the sheet, because otherwise the deformation resistance in the leg ML, MR approximates the deformation resistance of the leg L, R.
  • Fig. 2 shows a w-shaped mat connector according to the invention with notches or recesses KR, KL in the right or left outer leg and KM in the middle leg.
  • the notch shape can be seen on an angled sheet 5 "for the clamp 5, shown in a reduced version in FIG.
  • the notches KR and KL are cut in a U-shape with a depth T from the end faces of the outer legs, while the notch KM is made as a hole D centrally to the width B.
  • the alignment line F of all notches is off-center to the length LK of the terminal.
  • Dimension L1 also indicates the smallest distance between two horizontal bars with which this clamp can be placed around a horizontal bar.
  • variable length L1 or L2 consideration can also be given to fence mats with beads orthogonal to the mat plane, since such beads begin at a short distance from the next horizontal bar.
  • the short straight piece of the vertical bar bent to the bead can then be enclosed either with the leg part L1 or L2.
  • Fig. 3 shows the w-shaped clamp 5 before assembly and after Fence mounting the now B-shaped clamp 5 ', with the end faces of the The outer legs lie in front of each other.
  • the vertical bars 1 and 2 are from horizontal bars 6 and 4 respectively protrudes beyond the cross points towards the middle leg, the Middle leg receives these protruding ends in its notch KM.
  • the joint connector 10 is arranged in the center between the jaws and is precisely fixed laterally by the guide 11.
  • An abutment 14 is fastened on the articulated connector 10, on which a spur or a rib 13 through the middle leg M or the notch KM of the mat connector 5 '- shown closed form - holds.
  • the jaws 12, 12 ' can be provided in their end face 16 with a groove for the attachment of the pliers to horizontal rods 4, 6.
