Wurde während dieser Bewegung von dem ersten Sensor die Position der Seitenkante der Druckplatte 84 erkannt, wird auch diese Position gespeichert, ansonsten wird die Druckplatte 84 solange weiter axial verschoben, bis die Seitenkante der Druckplatte 84 detektiert wurde. Aufgrund dieser beiden Positionswerte und einer vorgewählten Position, in der die Druckplatte 84 montiert werden soll, errechnet die Steuerung des Positionierantriebes 53 eine Wegstrecke, um die die Druckplatte 84 noch zu verschieben ist. Der Positionierantrieb 53 führt anschließend die notwendige axiale Bewegung der Druckplatte 84 aus.

Claims (14)

Verfahren zum axialen Positionieren einer Druckplatte (84) während deren Aufbringens auf einem Zylinder (1) einer Rotationsdruckmaschine, wobei die Druckplatte (84) mittels Transportmitteln (28; 29; 43) einem vorbestimmten Zylinderabschnitt des Zylinders (1) zugeführt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zuerst aus mehreren möglichen, vorwählbaren, axial nebeneinander liegenden, einem Zylinderabschnitt zugeordneten Positionen eine Sollposition für die Druckplatte (84) auf dem Zylinder (1) ausgewählt wird, daß anschließend eine Lage der Druckplatte (84) in axialer Richtung bezüglich einer auf dem Zylinder (1) befindlichen Referenzposition ermittelt wird und daß schließlich die Druckplatte (84) in die vorgewählte Sollposition gebracht wird.Method for axially positioning a printing plate (84) while it is being applied to a cylinder (1) of a rotary printing press, the printing plate (84) being fed to a predetermined cylinder section of the cylinder (1) by means of transport means (28; 29; 43), characterized in that that a desired position for the pressure plate (84) on the cylinder (1) is first selected from a plurality of possible, preselectable, axially adjacent positions associated with a cylinder section, and then a position of the pressure plate (84) in the axial direction with respect to one on the cylinder (1) located reference position is determined and that finally the pressure plate (84) is brought into the preselected target position.
