Transport containers for propellant charges are known per se and have so far been used, for example used for eight propellant charges. With these known transport containers However, there is the problem that with regard to the requirement profile placed on them such as mechanical damping in case of falling or impact loads, flame protection as well as avoiding effective containment problems are excluded.
Therefore, the invention has for its object a transport container to create the type mentioned, in which the requirement profile regarding mechanical damping against falling or impact loads, regarding flame protection and is improved in terms of avoiding effective damming.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a transport container of the type mentioned at the outset by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 solved. Preferred Training and developments of the invention Transport containers are in the subclaims featured.
Preferably in the transport container according to the invention Four stacking strips on the outside of the pipe jacket provided evenly distributed across the entire Extend the length of the pipe jacket and the one Extend the end section on the cover side over the pipe jacket. At the stacking strip end sections opposite the lid the lid is detachably arranged. The most Pipe jacket fixed on the outside by welding seams Stacking strips are in accordance with the requirement profile as mechanical damping elements dimensioned. Becomes a Transport container according to the invention a drop test subjected, there is a deformation of the Stacking strips. This deformation of the stacking ledges destroys a significant portion of the drop test occurring mechanical forces. Form the stacking strips so a so-called crumple zone.
In the tubular jacket of the transport container according to the invention expediently arranged a protective cover. At this Protective cover can be a cardboard tube. The Wall thickness of the cardboard tube can for example order of magnitude 3 mm. The protective cover serves to protect those in the transport container Propellant charges against fast, extremely large ones Temperature fluctuations.
In the transport container according to the invention Pipe jacket formed with longitudinal predetermined breaking points, which with the stacking strips are congruent. Preferably also in the middle of the range Pipe jacket formed transverse predetermined breaking points. The longitudinal and Cross predetermined breaking points can be caused by notches in the Pipe jacket can be realized. The said breaking points serve to facilitate opening of the pipe jacket at a appropriate action. In addition, the cap is preferably designed and developed in such a way that it when a defined internal pressure in the container is reached opening the lid. So that the cap with such an opening it does not become a projectile, the lid is expediently by means of a flexible Element captively connected to the container. At this flexible element can be a safety rope.
According to the invention, the LOVA properties are preserved, i.e. an avoidance of effective insulation is guaranteed. It is useful for this purpose if the protective cover with Longitudinal slots is formed, which in the circumferential direction Distribution of the longitudinal predetermined breaking points and thus the Distribution of the stacking strips accordingly evenly are provided distributed. After - as already mentioned has been - the transport container preferably four Has stacking strips, it is preferred if the Protective cover with four longitudinal slots is trained. So that the longitudinal slots of the protective cover and the longitudinal predetermined breaking points in the tubular jacket of the transport container according to the invention congruent are arranged, the pipe jacket is on the inside preferably with at least one positioning approach and Protective cover with at least one associated Positioning hole formed. Two are expedient diametrically opposite positioning approaches provided that formed as beads in the tubular jacket. The Beads engage in two diametrically opposed ones Positioning holes formed in the protective cover are. The fact that the longitudinal slots of the protective cover with the longitudinal predetermined breaking points of the pipe jacket of the transport container according to the invention congruent are positioned, there is the advantage that the Damming is minimal.
Two are expediently diametrical opposite stacking strips with each Indexing approaches and the other two are diametrically opposed opposite stacking strips with corresponding Indexing holes designed to ensure a precise position A suitable number can be palletized to ensure transport container according to the invention. For example, twenty-five shipping containers are opened arranged on a pallet and with the help of a Clamping device set on said pallet.
According to the invention there is the advantage that the Transport container - as has already been mentioned - the LOVA properties of propellant charges are not affected. The is through the inventive design of the Transport container guaranteed. That means that with one resulting internal pressure of the transport container over a large area is opened without parts of the transport container such as Splinters, sheet metal parts or the like through through fly the air. On the other hand, the invention Transport containers, however, the required mechanical Strengths to the sometimes very difficult tests like to pass the drop test or the like. Crucial this is the constructive design, i.e. the Dimensioning of the stacking strips, on the one hand, the Give the transport container the required inherent rigidity, and which on the other hand act as a crumple zone.
In the event of enemy fire, the transport container to be transported is stacked at a hit of a transport container according to the invention achieved that after Ignition of a propellant charge by the internal pressure in the transport container opens immediately at the point of ignition and opens with it. The transport container opens already at a low pressure build-up. Burn with it the propellant charges and do not react detonatively. Adjacent shipping containers are therefore not ignited. On the other hand, the transport container fulfills all mechanical requirements such as drop test.
LOVA bedeutet geringe Verwundbarkeit (LOW VULNERABILITY). LOVA means low vulnerability (LOW VULNERABILITY).

Figur 1 zeigt abschnittweise und halbseitig geschnitten
einen Transportbehälter 10 für Treibladungen 12, deren
Außenkonturen in der linken Zeichnungshälfte durch
strichpunktierte Linien 14 angedeutet sind. Der
Transportbehälter 10 weist einen Rohrmantel 16 auf, der an
seinem unteren Endabschnitt 18 mit einem Behälterboden 20
dicht verschlossen ist.Figure 1 shows sections and cut on one side
a
The
The positioning lugs 22 serve in the form of
Figur 8
verdeutlicht in einem entsprechend vergrößerten Maßstab
eine Quer-Sollbruchstelle 42, die als Kerbe 44 ausgebildet
ist.The
ausgebildet. Zwei diametral gegenüberliegende Stapelleisten
46 sind mit Indizieransätzen 54 versehen, die von den
entsprechenden Stapelleisten 46 wegstehen. Diese
Indizieransätze 54 sind in Indizierlöcher 56 eines
benachbarten Transportbehälters 10 paßgenau einsteckbar. The positioning lugs 22 of the
steht. Von der Nabeneinrichtung 62 stehen diametral zwei
Verschlußarme 64 sowie oberseitig ein Betätigungsgriff 66
weg (sh. auch Figur 2). Wird der Betätigungsgriff 66 um die
Nabeneinrichtung 62 gedreht, so werden die beiden
Verschlußarme 64 in axialer Richtung des Transportbehälters
10 verstellt.
An
Nippeleinrichtung 76 versehen.The
Die Figuren 14 und 15 zeigen eine Entnahmeeinrichtung 80,
die ein Bodenelement 82 und vom Bodenelement 82 wegstehende
Bänder 84 aufweist. Die Bänder 84 erstrecken sich bis zum
Deckel 58 bzw. bis zu einem oberseitigen Abschlußelement 86
(sh. Figur 1). Mit Hilfe der Entnahmeeinrichtung 80 ist es
einfach möglich, die im Transportbehälter 10 befindlichen
Treibladungen 12 aus dem Transportbehälter 10 zu entnehmen.FIGS. 14 and 15 show a
