Claims (15)

  1. Former folding roller for longitudinal folding formers (4) for a folder in a web-fed rotary printing machine, characterized in that at least one former folding roller (2; 3) has at least one guide (16; 17; 18; 19) for a paper web feeding means (21; 22; 23; 24), the guide being freely rotatable independently of the former folding roller (2; 3).
  2. Former folding roller according to Claim 1, characterized in that the former folding rollers (2; 3) are driven.
  3. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that in order to drive the former folding rollers (2; 3), a controlled speed drive motor (42; 43) is provided.
  4. Former folding roller according to Claims 2 to 3, characterized in that the guides (16; 17; 18; 19) are mounted on a shaft (6, 7) of the former folding roller (2; 3).
  5. Former folding roller according to Claims 2 to 4, characterized in that each former folding roller (2; 3) is divided transversely into at least two former folding roller parts (8, 9, 10; 12, 13, 14).
  6. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that in each case a guide (16; 17; 18; 19) is arranged between two former folding roller parts (8; 9; 10; 12; 13; 14).
  7. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the guide (16; 17; 18; 19) is mounted in an annular groove in the former folding roller (2; 3).
  8. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the former folding roller parts (8; 9; 10; 12; 13; 14) are firmly connected to the shaft (6; 7) so as to rotate with it.
  9. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the shaft (6; 7) is connected to a drive motor (42; 43).
  10. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that in each case a coupling (41) is arranged between the shaft (6; 7) and the drive motor (42; 43).
  11. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the guide (16; 17; 18; 19) comprises an outer ring of a ball bearing (26).
  12. Former folding roller according to Claim 11, characterized in that the outer ring has raised lateral edges.
  13. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that each shaft end (31, 32, 33, 34) of the former folding roller (2; 3) is arranged in a sliding block (36, 37, 38, 39) which is mounted fixed to the side frame and which can be displaced by means of a drive (56, 57, 58, 59, 61; 56, 57, 58, 59, 62; 56, 57, 58, 59 63; 56, 57, 58, 59, 64).
  14. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the drive in each case comprises a threaded spindle (56), a gear mechanism (58), a drive shaft (59) and an actuating motor (61; 62; 63; 64) with a rotary angle position transmitter (66; 67; 68; 69).
  15. Former folding roller according to Claims 1 to 14 characterized in that each actuating motor (61; 62; 63; 64) and each rotary angle position transmitter (66; 67; 68; 69) is connected to the computer unit (49) via a drive controller (71; 72; 73; 74).
