Claims (6)

  1. Door or window construction, having a movable frame (2) and a stationary flame (1), which having a metal rail (10) located at an inner side of the building and a metal rail (12) located at an outer side of the building, between them at least one heat insulating structure (14) of plastic is located, which comprises at least three closed air chambers being serially located in a directioii of thermal gradient and being separated one to the other by cross ribs (21, 22, 23), and that each of the metal rails (10, 12) is rigidly fastened at the end of the one-piece heat insulating structure (14), characterised in that the heat insulating structure is formed as honeycombed thin walled hard plastic profile rail (14), that the cross sectional shape of the hard plastic profile rail (14) having a essentially Z-shaped configuration, and that the air chambers (17 - 20) beyond their longitudinal extent are located apportioned between the two metal rails (10, 12), gradual serially located iii staggered shape and separated one to each other by respective thin walled cross ribs (21, 22, 23).
  2. Door or window construction according to claim 1, characterised in that said hard plastic profile rail (14) at its top side having two opposite directed ribs (24) defining a re-entrant, dovetailed opening, and a rubber-elastic sealing strip (26) fitted in said re-entrant dovetailed opening and in engagement with a portion of the movable frame (2), and that the sealing strip (26) comprises two sealing lips (27, 28) distanced one from the other and provided to bear against the movable frame (2).
  3. Door or window construction according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that said hard plastic profile rail (14) consisting of polyamide, optionally reinforced with glass fibres, or of polypropylene.
  4. Door or window construction according to anyone of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that at least two surfaces (61, 62) of the hard plastic profile rail (14) facing the stationary frame (4) extending parallel one to the other and wherein at least one of those surfaces (61) is supported on the stationary frame (4) via sealing means.
  5. Door or window construction according to anyone of the preceding claims, characterised in that two mirror-symmetrical movable frames (2) with hard plastic profile rails (14) and rubber-elastic sealing strips (26) are provided, which are rigidly connected to metal rails (52, 54), which are located at the inner side and at the outer side of the building, and a spacer element (50) is positioned between said two hard plastic profile rails (14).
  6. Door or window construction according to anyone of the preceding claims, characterised in that said air chambers (17, 18, 19, 20) of the hard plastic profile rail (14) are formed of different size.
