Description

Technisches GebietTechnical field

The invention relates to a convertible double-bit lock with a bolt in which one Changing edge and a package of tooth lock washers are stored. The tooth lock washer a package of tumblers opposite, which are arranged pivotably about a mandrel.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Man muß dabei zweimal umschließen.
In the known locks of this type, the lock is rearranged. You unlock the lock with the key you used previously, open the door and operate a change-over lever protruding from the rear wall of the lock that lifts the change-over blade. Then you remove the key and insert a differently coded key. After turning the key and rearranging the coding, the lock washers are blocked again by the change-over blade. The conversion is now complete.
A lock of this type is described and illustrated, for example, in EP 0 773 338.
It is considered disadvantageous that the cabinet door has to be opened for the changeover. Especially in cupboards with two locks, it is annoying and time-consuming that the person entitled must be consulted for the second lock.
From German patent 194 159 a convertible security lock is known in which the recoding can be done from the front through the keyhole. In order to initiate the change, the main bolt with the key previously used must be pushed forward by one tour. In this position, the locking plates are separated from the plates operated by the key. If the key is now removed and replaced by a differently coded one, the tumblers are set to the new key bit. If you keep turning the key, the lock is closed twice, and you have to lock it twice. If the user accidentally encloses the cabinet only once, every third person can open the cabinet with a differently coded key.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The invention has for its object to redesign a double-bit lock so that it can be changed from the front through the keyhole with simple means, a tamper-proof locking should be achieved after just one key rotation.
This object is achieved in that a change swivel is mounted on the bottom of the housing, which can be actuated by the beard of a change key and thereby moves a change lock that a nose of this change lock releases a locking angle that folds under spring force into the open position, and that when Withdrawal of the lock, the change-over blade runs against an arm of the locking bracket and releases the toothed lock washer.

In Fig. 1a, 1 denotes the lock housing, in which only the parts are shown, which are under the removed bolt 2 (Fig. 1b) and serve to change the combination. The housing 1 has a rectangular opening 1a on the left end, from which the locking head 2a emerges. Four hollow columns 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e protrude from the bottom of the lock housing and serve to hold fastening screws. The key guide mandrel bears the symbol 1f. Further guide pins 1g, 1h prevent tilting movements of the bolt 2. The associated slots in the bolt are labeled 2b, 2c.
A bearing mandrel 1i receives the tumbler package 3, which rests on the bottom surface 2d of the bolt.
The parts used for the changeover are a changeover swivel 4, a changeover lock 5 and a locking angle 6, which are shown enlarged in FIGS. 5-7.
The changeover swivel 4 is mounted on the guide mandrel 1h. It has a control curve 4a which is actuated by the beard 7 of a changeover key (FIG. 2a). The changeover swivel 4 also carries a control pin 4b which slides in a control recess 5a of the changeover lock 5. This is slidably mounted and carries a molded spring 5b. In the position according to FIG. 1a, a nose 5c prevents the locking angle 6 from pivoting to the right. The locking angle 6 is mounted on a mandrel 1k. A molded-on spring 6a causes the angle 6 to pivot to the right when, according to FIG. 2a, the change-over lock 5 assumes its right end position.

In Fig. 1b it can be seen that the tumbler package 3 is opposed by a lock washer package 8 which is slidably mounted in the bolt 2. A change-over cutting edge 9 engages in the toothing of the disks and locks the selected coding.
If you insert the appropriate key into the lock and turn it clockwise, the tumblers are correctly arranged so that their tongues 3a can enter the slots in the toothed disks 8, as shown in FIG. 3b.
Parts 4, 5 and 6 are not adjusted during normal operation of the lock.
The key can only be turned by about 135 ° because his beard hits the nose 6b of the locking angle 6. It cannot be removed when the bolt is withdrawn.
The changeover process is as follows:
When the door is closed, that is to say the bolt is extended, the change-over key is inserted and his beard 7 is turned 90 ° to the left in order to bring the change-over swivel 4 from the locked position according to FIG. 1a into the change-over position according to FIG. 2a. The changeover lock 5 is pushed over the control pin 4b to the right, so that the locking angle 6 can also fold over into the changeover position according to FIG. 2a.
The changeover key is now turned 90 ° to the right and removed. You insert the appropriate double-bit key and turn it 180 ° to the right. The previously valid key is now withdrawn with the bolt 2 withdrawn and replaced with any new key that is coded in any way and which has to be inserted into the keyhole in the 180 ° position. When unlocking the lock, the locking angle of which is in the changeover position according to FIG. 3a, the left arm 6c of the lock angle abuts against the changeover blade 9 which, according to FIG. 4, is resiliently mounted on the underside of the bolt 2 with the aid of a frame 9a. As a result, the changeover blade 9 is lifted out of the teeth of the disks 8, as is clearly shown in FIG. 3b.
In addition, a mandrel 2e abuts the underside of the latch 2 against the surface 4c of the changeover swivel 4 and swivels it back into the locked position according to FIG. 3a.
If the new key is now turned to the left, it rearranges the tumblers 3 and the toothed lock washers 8 coupled to them while the bolt 2 is being extended. In addition, the key bit presses the locking angle 6 into a left turn, so that the locking state according to FIG. 1a is restored. Due to the spring action of the frame 9a, the changeover blade 9 engages in the toothing of the toothed disk set 8.
The next time the key is unlocked, the key remains trapped in the keyhole because its beard is held open by the nose 6b.
The entire changeover takes place without the door of the cabinet having to be opened.
