Definitions
- the present invention relates to a device connection according to the the preamble of claim 1.
- Device sockets are usually especially stove junction boxes, with the help of clamps or staples in corresponding Wall holes attached.
- Such, e.g. known from DE 31 20 414 A1 junction box consist of a generally flat hollow can, which picks up a clamp.
- the clamp is usually on one side of the clamp connected to the connecting leads opening out of the wall.
- the The invention has for its object to simplify such a device connection.
- This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.
- This is the electrical connection to the junction box designed as a socket.
- This socket is preferred multipolar.
- a complementary plug can be inserted into the socket. Since the device connection boxes known for example from DIN 57 606 are only very flat and usually only a very small one behind the device Installation space and thus also plug-in space for the plug is provided Invention further before that the plug direction of the plug perpendicular to the mounting direction the junction box. The plug is, as it were, on the side inserted into the wall outlet adapted to the wall.
- the advantage of the invention is the fact that in the socket on the junction box only a plug provided on the device can be inserted. For this type of connection by means of a plug, however, it is not necessary to use one Hire an electrician. Rather, the connections to both the socket and also pre-assembled on the connector in such a way that it can also be inserted through a Is not feasible.
- the embodiment according to claim 4 ensures as an additional positive locking on the one hand a reliable plug-socket connection.
- Second is the latching is designed so that a clear click can be heard when latching is. So this click is an acoustic control for the creation the electrical connection.
- a strain relief can be provided on the plug in order to relieve the relevant Standards.
- the plug With the plug is the extension part or extension cable on the wall-mounted device connection box connected while the device runs the length of the extension cord is set up at a distance from the wall-mounted junction box.
- the connection of the device takes place via the device's own plug on the one hand and on the extension cable provided socket on the other hand.
- the extension part With the help of the extension part, it is also possible to put the device connection box in to install such wall areas where, for example, no water pipes or the like, which is an attachment of a conventional box would prevent according to the prior art. It is also consistent Further training in plug-in technology effectively prevents do-it-yourselfers try independently, wall-mounted junction boxes with regard to their Place to relocate. Rather, the handyman will take the much easier route go to a device remote from the junction box by means of an extension part to connect the existing junction box.
- extension part on Device provides a snap-in part corresponding to a plug and the connection to implement the device on the device connection box in such a way that the a free end of the extension part connected to the connector Snap-in part is snapped into place and that to the connection socket on the device connection box Complementally designed connector on the other free end of the extension part is plugged into the socket on the device connection socket.
- this connection Always make sure that live parts are always designed as sockets to avoid the risk of injury when connecting.
- the junction box is next to that as electrical Connection effective multi-pin socket provided a further connection socket, which forms a bus line socket.
- a data transmission line is connected to this bus line socket, in particular a bus line can be connected.
- the device has a so-called bus coupling module and is controllable or in via a bus system known per se a bus-controlled installation system can be integrated.
- the device is also connected via controlled the bus line socket.
- installation systems are known to be provided in buildings with appropriate distributors, which the in centrally control the installation system of integrated consumers.
- Such a thing System is known for example from DE-A-42 00 818.
- Bus system known from the house of the applicant as "Wieland Installations Bus".
- junction box with a bus line socket has the advantage that the junction box for installation in a pre-assembled, in particular standardized data bus control system.
- the device to be connected can be done simply by inserting the appropriate, pre-assembled bus cable connector into the bus line socket on an intelligent bus-controlled distribution system be connected.
- a two-pole bus line socket can be connected to the junction box be provided for connecting a two-wire bus line.
- a corresponding two-pole bus line connector can be simply inserted.
- the two-wire bus line is preferably surrounded by an electrically conductive jacket. This sheath is referred to as a "screen" because it is the two-wire bus line shields against external electrical interference fields.
- the interruption of the effect of the screen is also important for the connection Another, correspondingly provided third pole in a two-wire bus line to forward the screen.
- the side wall is then to a certain extent as a connecting wall of the junction box effective.
- the arrangement next to one another has the further advantage that both the electrical supply connector and the bus line connector can be summarized in an integral plug part.
- This integral Plug part is complementary to the connecting wall.
- the device junction box 1 consists of a socket body 2, of two the can base body 2 in the fastening direction 3 protruding hooks 4, which with their rear engaging parts 5 in the inner walls of the connection hole intervene in the wall.
- On the fastening hook in direction 3 4 side facing away from the can body 2 carries the lid 6.
- the side wall 7 has finally broken out in such a way that the breakout arranged, five-pin socket 8 is accessible.
- the plug-in direction 9 runs perpendicular to the fastening direction 3.
- the five-pole Socket 8 is also designed to be complementary to the five-pin connector 10 five-pin connector 10 can be inserted into the socket 8 in the plugging direction 9 such that the respective plug poles 11 with their assigned socket poles 12 in Intervention and thus come into electrical contact.
- the spring arm 13 is finally fixed to the bushing 8.
- the spring arm 13 projects into Plug direction 9 out of the junction box 1 and carries on from the junction box protruding free ends two locking teeth 14.
- Locking openings 15 are provided in the top of the Housing of the plug 10 . Reaches the connector 10 in the direction of insertion 9 its final assembly position, the locking teeth 14 snap into the locking openings 15 one and click to lock the plug 10 on the device connection box 1.
- the socket 8 is fastened to the can body 2.
- the socket 8 On on its side facing away from the socket poles 12, the socket 8 has five screw terminals 16 for connecting the wall-side, connected to the supply network electrical line.
- the embodiment of the device connection box 1 shown in FIG. 4 also has again a can body 2 and one in the fastening direction 3 thereon arranged lid 6 on. Stand in the fastening direction 3 from the can body 2 in turn fastening hooks 4 with rear gripping parts 5.
- the the connecting wall 20 of the housing 2 forming side wall has one Opening for the five-pin socket 8 with the above-mentioned socket poles 12 on.
- the bus line socket 21 is adjacent to the socket 8.
- the bus line socket 21 has the two signal line poles 22 and between the signal line poles 22 arranged shield pole 23.
- the integral plug part 24 shown in FIG. 5 is next to the five plug poles 1 nor the bus line connector 25 with not shown in the drawings Bus line connector poles formed. If the integral plug part 24 in Plug-in direction 9 inserted into the connecting wall 20 of the device junction box 1, form the bus line connector 25 and the bus line socket 21 on the one hand and the connector poles 11 with the socket poles 12 of the socket 8 on the other hand Plug connections from such that both the bus line for entering the control signals into the device junction box 1 as well as the electrical supply line is connected to the device connection box 1.
