Definitions
- the invention relates to a radio receiver according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- Such a radio receiver is from the magazine Funkschau 8/92 I Spezial, pages 22 known until 26.
- this radio receiver are received from the Broadcast signal derived audio signals processed in an audio circuit.
- RDS and TMC data are derived from the broadcast signal.
- RDS is the Abbreviation for Radio Data System and TMC for Traffic Message Channel (traffic news channel).
- TMC is a functional extension of RDS RDS-TMC data with the broadcast signal as digitally encoded data transfer.
- TMC for example, the radio handset is given the opportunity to Traffic reports stored in the radio as often as desired before or after Calling up the start of the journey, traffic reports selected according to the desired route eavesdropping and traffic reports regardless of the respective national language in the have your own native language announced.
- the RDS-TMC data are as follows also commonly referred to as coded messages. It is also conceivable, not just coded Traffic reports but also weather reports and other messages with RDS-TMC data or similar coded data to transmit.
- the received encoded Messages are fed to a memory arrangement, which then sends control data to a Control circuit there.
- a memory arrangement contains a database for formation of traffic news and can, for example, be connected to the control circuit
- Semiconductor memory a semiconductor memory arranged on a chip card, a CD-ROM etc. From the above document it is known that the tax data Descriptions of a language are in spelling and are used for language output. Below is the correct spelling of terms understand a language.
- the control circuit e.g. to a stored digitally coded speech signal stock To fall back on.
- the invention has for its object to provide a radio receiver based on easily compiles the tax data required for an announcement or display.
- the task is performed according to a radio receiver of the type mentioned solved the characterizing part of claim 1.
- control data are in one or more memory arrangements filed that are assigned to a replacement code.
- a replacement code assigned tax data contain frequently used designations, e.g. "Cologne”, "junction” etc.
- Receives the control circuit to a coded Notification corresponding control data from the memory arrangement the at least contain a replacement code, only then can the corresponding message (e.g. Traffic message) for a speech synthesis circuit and / or Display device are formed when under a replacement code stored control data have been supplied to the control circuit. Because such Replacement codes therefore take up less storage space than the control data Database reduced. This is particularly advantageous if the Broadcast receiver is used for traffic announcement and data of a large Traffic area (e.g. Germany) are stored in a storage arrangement.
- Tax data is a selection of word sequences, words and parts of words (Terms) understood from a linguistic point of view.
- the tax data there is at least one spelling of a first language and only then contain certain spellings of other languages, if these from the Spelling of the first language differ.
- a spelling can e.g. a Spelling (e.g. Röthenbach an der Pegnitz), a phonetic transcription or one on one Font that can be displayed (e.g. Röthenb. / Peg.)
- the spellings are a first Language complete and of the other languages only spellings in the Tax data included if this differs from the spelling of the first language.
- the first language is German and other languages English, French and Dutch are e.g.
- the composition of a traffic announcement is determined by the Control circuit performed. This takes at least one memory arrangement each the control data under the corresponding coded message. Is located in the tax data a replacement code, then those under this Control code stored control data taken from a memory arrangement.
- the control circuit selects the required spelling from the control data. Should a message, for example in English, about the speech synthesis circuit are output, the English phonetic transcription first becomes from the tax data removed and then the message with the other phonetic entries that come from of the coded message have been composed. For example should the tax data stored under the coded message "3783" via the Speech synthesis circuit are output. Under the coded message "3783” "0019 2429-Dellb Kunststoff" (Cologne-Mühlheim junction) is entered.
- the Replacement code "0019” means "junction” and the Replacement code "2429” means "Cologne” in German law.
- Substitution codes can, for example, also the English legal documents (Motorway exit, Cologne), the French legal documents and the Dutch Legal documents must be registered. Should the output in the English language done, the control data of the replacement code "0019" will be the first Control circuit supplied and from this the English entry (Motorway exit) selected. Then this is also done with the English Legal entry (Cologne) under the replacement code "2429". Then the entire expression can be put together (Motorway exit Cologne Mühlheim). This procedure avoids that by the end of the Compilation of the report with the sometimes extensive tax data Entries in different languages can be processed further.
- the Control circuit is for receiving at least one writing of a first language with at least one replacement code and at least one associated spelling another language with at least one placeholder and to assign one spelling of the first language and / or filed under the replacement code at least one spelling of another one stored under the replacement code Language for the placeholder provided.
- the further data reduction is done by Wildcards that correspond to a replacement code are reached. If in one When the first language is written, a replacement code is inserted place a placeholder in the corresponding place of all other spellings. In the Compilation of a message is when in a spelling another A placeholder is inserted in the language, the corresponding replacement code in the Spelling of the first language determined and then the one below it Replacement code entered spelling of the other language selected.
- At least one memory arrangement contains lists assigned to memory areas each with a coded message assigned specific control data and a Replacement list with the replacement codes and the associated tax data.
- Such lists can be a location list, a range list, a section list, a Standard phrase list, etc.
- place list are place details (e.g. cities)
- area list includes traffic-related areas (e.g. Ruhr area), Administrative areas (e.g. Middle Franconia) or tourist areas (e.g. Teutoburg Forest)
- in the section list are street sections and in the Standard phrase list Contain parts of a traffic report (e.g. 10 km traffic jam).
- the location, area and section list is region-specific, while the Standard phrase list is designed to be event-specific.
- the control circuit is for supplying region-specific control data from one first memory arrangement and event-specific control data from a second Storage arrangement provided.
- the first memory arrangement can be a Replacement list with region-specific and the second tax arrangement tax data with event-specific tax data included.
- the first memory arrangement could be part of a chip card that is used for Recording in a card reader is provided.
