    characterized in that the program disc (18) is equipped with an inscription mount (21) in a rotationally fixed manner above its visible surface (38), which inscription mount (21) has an annular transparent or translucent window area (35), through which, in at least one of the two radial positions, a marked area (37) of the switching rider limb (26), which can be moved in a radially engaging manner between the inscription mount (21) and the program disc (18), can be seen.
  2. Time switch according to Claim 1,
    characterized in that the limb area (37) can be moved radially from a position underneath the window area (35) on the program disc (18) outwards to a position in which the program disc surface (38) can then be seen through the window area (35), rather than the limb area (37).
  3. Time switch according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in that the switching rider (19) is equipped with a yoke (32) between two limbs (26, 29) for engaging over the program disc edge (25), with an azimuth guide, which is located radially outside the disc surface (38) which can be seen through the window area (35), for the switching rider (19) by means of a radial rib (28) in a longitudinal groove (27) together with switch position latching by means of a latching stud (30), which engages elastically in one of two radially spaced-apart latching grooves (31).
  4. Time switch according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that each switching rider (19) is equipped, parallel to its limb (29) which is located underneath the program disc (18), with a switching bar (34) for operating a probe finger (24), which is fixed to the appliance, when this probe finger (24) projects into the revolution path of the switching bar (34) in one of the two latching positions of the switching rider (19) which can be seen through the window area (35).
  5. Time switch according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that each switching rider (19) is equipped with a projection (33) as an extension of the yoke (32), which extends axially as far as at least the visible surface of the inscription mount (21), and is designed to be of a different colour to the visible limb area (37).
  6. Time switch according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in that, in a central recess, the inscription mount (21) has a dial (17), which is fixed to the appliance, with its own scale subdivision (16), for pointers (14, 15) which revolve within the hour subdivisions (22/23).
