Selbsttragende, zur Anordnung von Artikeln in einem einheitlichen Gebinde bestimmte Verpackung (10;120;122;130,132), z.B. für thermogeformte einzelne Töpfe oder in Tafeln (81) zusammengefasste Gruppen von Töpfen, welche ausgehend von einem rechteckigen Kartonzuschnitt (12) hergestellt wird, in welchen eine erste Reihe von Faltungslinien (24,26,28) eingeformt sind, die sich quer zu dem Zuschnitt erstrecken und auf diesem eine Bodenwandung (18), zwei Seitenwandungen (16,20) und eine obere Wandung (22) definieren, die aneinandergereiht sind und in den ferner eine zweite Reihe von jeweils drei Faltungslinien (30,32,34;36,38,40) eingeformt sind, die sich parallel zueinander und nach Maßgabe gleicher Abstände in Längsrichtung des Zuschnitts auf den Seitenwandungen (16,20) und der oberen Wandung (22) erstrecken und die auf jeder dieser drei Wandungen zwei, sich in Längsrichtung zu dem Zuschnitt erstreckende Faltungsstreifen (35,37;39,41) definieren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bodenwandung (18) auf ihrer gesamten Länge eine Aussparung (58) aufweist, die sich in der Verlängerung der sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden Streifen (35,37) der Seitenwandungen befindet und deren Breite etwas größer ist als der Abstand zwischen den äußeren Faltungslinien (30,32) der genannten Streifen und dass der Zuschnitt einerseits gefaltet wird, indem das durch die Faltungsstreifen (35,37) der Seitenwandungen gebildete Dieder in Richtung auf die Innenseite hin gedrückt wird, um auf den Innenseiten der Seitenwandungen zwei vertikale Verstärkungsträger (78,80) zu bilden, und andererseits dadurch gefaltet wird, dass das durch die Faltungsstreifen (39,41) der oberen Wandung gebildete Dieder in Richtung auf die Außenseite hin verformt wird, um auf der Außenseite der oberen Wandung einen vorspringenden Abschnitt zu bilden, der als Handgriff oder als Stapellasche (82) dient und wobei der Zuschnitt schließlich dadurch gefaltet wird, dass die beiden Abschnitte (18a,18b) der Bodenwandung, die sich beiderseits der genannten Aussparung befinden, einander angenähert werden und zwar mit der Maßgabe, dass in der auf diese Weise gebildeten Bodenwandung ein Schlitz (99) verbleibt, in den der Handgriff oder die Faltungslasche (82) einer darunterliegenden Verpackung eines aus Verpackungen bestehenden Stapels aufgenommen werden kann.
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an den Längsberandungen der Bodenwandung (18) zwei Klappen (68,70) angelenkt sind, die dazu bestimmt sind, senkrecht zu der Bodenwandung aufgerichtet zu werden und zwischen die Töpfe einer eine Mehrzahl von Töpfen enthaltenden Tafel eingefügt zu werden, welche Töpfe auf die Bodenwandung gesetzt sind, wobei die genannten Klappen in ihrer aufgerichteten Position unter Mitwirkung von Klebeblättern (74,76) gehalten werden.
  3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die auf der oberen Wandung (22) befindlichen Streifen (39,41) in einem mittleren Abschnitt in Längsrichtung dieser Wandung erstrecken, wobei die beiderseits der genannten Streifen befindlichen Wandungsabschnitte (42,44) ausgespart sind.
  4. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Klappen (68,70) dadurch von den genannten Abschnitten (18a,18b) der Bodenwandung getrennt sind, dass in letztere jeweils ein V-förmiger Einschnitt (72) eingebracht wird, und zwar derart, dass nach erfolgtem Aufrichten der Klappen die innenseitigen Abschnitte dieser Einschnitte Vorsprünge (73) bilden, die in der Ebene der Bodenwandung verbleiben.
  5. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Träger (78,80) an ihrem oberen Ende mit Laschen (90,92) versehen sind, die dazu bestimmt sind, Löcher (94,96), die in die obere Wandung (22) eingeformt sind, zu durchdringen und in Löcher (98,100) einzudringen, die in die Bodenwandung (18) einer solchen Verpackung eingeformt sind, die sich oberhalb der betrachteten Verpackung in einem Stapel bestehend aus solchen Verpackungen befindet.
  6. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in die obere Wandung (22) hakenartige Laschen (77) eingeschnitten sind, die dazu geeignet sind in Löcher (88), die in der Berandung (116) einer oberen, Töpfe enthaltenden Platte eingeformt sind, eingeführt und in diesen verrastet zu werden, um die Entnahme der Tafel aus der Verpackung zu verhindern.
  7. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass entlang, der zwischen der oberen Wandung und einer der Seitenwandungen (20) bestehenden Kante (28) auf der oberen Wandung Zungen (108,110) ausgeschnitten sind, die entlang der Faltungslinien (112,114) angelenkt sind, die in der Seitenwandung gebildet sind und die sich parallel zu der genannten Kante und nach Maßgabe eines solchen Abstandes von dieser erstrecken, der der Dicke der Umfangsberandung (116) der Tafeln entspricht, wobei die genannten Zungen dazu bestimmt sind, die Berandung zwischen zwei einander benachbarten Töpfen der gleichen Tafel zu untergreifen.
  8. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die einander überlagernden, die Träger (78,80) bildenden Streifen (35,37) untereinander beispielsweise durch Klebung oder dadurch in Verbindung stehen, dass aus einem der Streifen eine Zunge (83) ausgeschnitten ist, die entlang einer, mit der sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden entsprechenden äußeren Faltungslinie (30) zusammenfallende Faltungslinie gefaltet werden kann und dass entlang der anderen, sich in Längsrichtung erstreckenden äußeren Faltungslinie (32) ein Schlitz (85) ausgeschnitten ist, in den die Zunge eindringen kann, so dass auf diesem Wege die beiden Streifen (35,37) in ihrer aneinander anliegenden Stellung verriegelt sind.
  9. Verpackung nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass auf jeder der Seitenwandungen (16,20) zwei Faltungsstreifen (35,104;37,106) vorgesehen sind, die dazu bestimmt sind, zwei vertikale Träger zu bilden, dass in der Bodenwandung (18) zwei Aussparungen (58,108) vorgesehen sind, durch welche in dieser drei Abschnitte (18a,18b,18c) definiert sind, die anlässlich der Faltung der Streifen aneinander angenähert werden und dass in der oberen Wandung (22) zwei Faltungsstreifen (41,110) vorgesehen sind, die dazu bestimmt sind, zwei, aus der oberen Wandung herausragende Abschnitte (41,110) zu bilden.
  10. Verpackung nach einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Träger auf mittlerer Höhe einen Ausschnitt aufweisen, in den sich die Kante der Berandung (116) einer unteren, Töpfe enthaltenden Platte einfügt.
  11. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ausgehend von einem ersten Zuschnitt (120) aus einem widerstandsfähigen Karton hergestellt ist, der eine Bodenwandung (18) aufweist, die durch Annäherung zweier Abschnitte (18a,18b) gebildet ist, wobei ferner ein Schlitz (99) und zwei Seitenwandungen (16,20) gebildet werden, in denen durch Faltung der Streifen (35,37) Verstärkungsträger (78,80) geformt werden und dass die Verpackung ferner ausgehend von einem zweiten flachen Zuschnitt (122) hergestellt ist, der aus einem Karton von geringerer Widerstandsfähigkeit besteht und der dahingehend ausgebildet ist und dass er mit seinen äußeren Berandungen an den genannten Seitenwandungen befestigt werden kann, die vertikal ausgerichtet sind, um auf diesen Wege die obere Wandung der Verpackung zu bilden.
  12. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ausgehend von einem ersten Zuschnitt (130) aus einem widerstandsfähigen Karton hergestellt ist, der eine bedruckbare Außenseite aufweist und der aus einer oberen Wandung (22) mit einem herausragenden Abschnitt (82)) und zwei Seitenwandungen (16,20) mit einem Verstärkungsträger (78,80) besteht und dass die Verpackung ferner ausgehend von einem zweiten Zuschnitt (132) hergestellt ist, der aus einem Karton geringerer Widerstandsfähigkeit besteht und nicht bedruckbare Seiten aufweist, der den Boden der Verpackung bildet, wobei die beiden Zuschnitte durch Klebung miteinander in Verbindung stehen.
  13. Verpackung nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Zuschnitt (132) eine Bodenwandung (134) und zwei Klappen (140,142) aufweist, die sich senkrecht zu der Bodenwandung erstrecken, wobei mit den genannten Klappen die unteren Berandungen der Seitenwandungen (16,20) verklebt werden können und dass in die Berandungen der genannten Klappen Ausnehmungen (146,148) eingeschnitten sind, in welche die unteren Berandungen der Verstärkungsträger (78) einfügbar sind.
