Abstract
Description
erforderlich. The invention relates to a cleaning device for reusable crockery, in particular for individual cups, with a cleaning chamber in which there are spray nozzles for the discharge of cleaning medium and means for positioning the cup within the cleaning chamber, at least one acting on the outside of the cup and outer brush pivotable in the circumferential direction of the cup and at least one rotating inner brush acting on the inside of the cup are provided and the device has a holding and lifting mechanism for feeding and putting the cup on the inner brush (s).
From US-A-3 866 265 a glass washing machine is known in which the glasses to be cleaned are introduced individually from above with the opening downwards into a housing, the glass with its peripheral wall between at least one inner brush and several outer brushes intervenes.
The brushes are located in the housing, which has an upper insertion opening for glasses to be cleaned. During the cleaning process, the glass itself forms an upper end of the insertion opening, but sealing, in particular also in the case of different diameters of glasses to be cleaned, is not possible and, accordingly, the escape of cleaning liquid cannot be prevented.
It is also necessary to hold the glass to be cleaned directly during the cleaning procedure and to move it downward, so that the user can come into contact with splashing water and possibly with the outer brushes.
Holding on is particularly necessary with narrow glasses, since they engage between the inner brush and middle brushes rotating in the same direction.
The middle, rotating but not rotating brushes are used to clean the inside of the glass for cleaning larger-diameter glasses, while outer brushes rotating around their own axis but not rotating are used for cleaning the outside of the glass. A large number of external brushes are required to act on the entire outer peripheral side of the glass.
Tableware cleaning devices are also already known, in which spray water, steam, cleaning brushes and air for drying are used as the cleaning medium. The problem with such cleaning devices is that, on the one hand, a very short cleaning time is desired, but on the other hand, despite this short, available time, thorough cleaning of the cup is required, even if beverage residues on the cup or the like have dried out and are difficult to remove.
However, these known cleaning devices do not show any concrete solutions to this problem.
The object of the present invention is a cleaning device of the type mentioned at the beginning, with the shortest time thorough cleaning of cups, mugs and the like Dishes are possible. Nevertheless, the energy and The need for cleaning agents should be as low as possible. In addition, a simple construction as well as easy handling and a convenient and quick insertion and removal of a cup to be cleaned to be possible.
To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention that the cleaning chamber has an upper closure cover which is in drive connection with the holding and lifting mechanism for positioning the cup in a lowered cleaning position and in a raised insertion and removal position, that for the pivoting movement of the outer brush (n) and the rotational movement of the inner brush, a common drive is provided, that the drive connection for the pivoting movement of the outer brush (s) has a crank mechanism or an eccentric drive, that the outer brush (s) can be pivoted at the ends of a pivot arm connected to the crank mechanism or the like and are rotatably mounted about their longitudinal axis and that the drive for the rotary movement of the outer brush (s) is (are) derived from the drive for the rotary movement of the inner brush. The drive connection between the closure lid and the holding and lifting mechanism enables simple handling, since the cup to be cleaned is automatically positioned downwards in the cleaning position when the lid is closed when the lid is closed.
The common drive for the swiveling movement and the rotational movement of the outer brush (s) and the rotational movement of the inner brush favors a simple and compact structure of the cleaning device, whereby advantages in terms of service life and operational safety result from the use of a crank mechanism or an eccentric drive.
The proposed arrangement of the cleaning brushes and their working movement with swiveling movement of the outer brushes with simultaneous rotation results in a direct mechanical action on the entire surface of the cup to be cleaned, so that in conjunction with a cleaning liquid, usually hot water with a little washing-up liquid, an intensive one in the shortest possible time and thorough cleaning is possible. Experiments have shown that a cleaning time of only 5 seconds is sufficient for perfect cleaning. This very short cleaning time inevitably results in a lower consumption of washing-up liquid and washing-up liquid and also a correspondingly lower energy requirement for heating the washing-up water.
entsprechend reduzierter Aufwand vorhanden.
According to a preferred embodiment, it is provided that two rotating outer brushes arranged approximately diametrically opposite the cup or the like are provided, which are preferably pivotable in opposite directions about the cup by a predeterminable pivoting angle. The swiveling movement of the outer brushes with simultaneous rotation results in a particularly thorough cleaning and loading of the entire circumferential side of the cup despite the use of only two outer brushes, with the edges and the bottom region or bottom edge region being acted on, since the brushes are correspondingly close to the cup are positioned and the bristles protrude radially inwards at the top and bottom of the cup. By using only two outer brushes, there is a correspondingly reduced effort.
The inside of the cup is also thoroughly cleaned, since, according to a further development of the invention, a rotating inner brush is provided which engages centrally in the cup, which in the operating state preferably points downward, and acts on the inside circumferentially. With its undeformed outer contour, this brush is slightly larger than the inside of the cup, so that thorough cleaning can be carried out in the shortest possible time, even if dried-on beverage or food residues have to be removed.
Additional embodiments of the invention are listed in the further subclaims. The invention with its essential details is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings.

weggelassen. The inner structure of the cleaning device 1 according to the invention can be clearly seen in the side views according to FIGS. 1 and 2. In the exemplary embodiment, it is designed as a so-called single-cup dishwasher and accordingly serves to clean individually supplied

In the exemplary embodiment, two
In addition to the rotational movement, the
