caractérisé en ce quela première bande profilée (8) comporte une aile inférieure (13) montrant à l'extérieur,on a pourvu une seconde bande profilée (16) munie d'une aile (20) montrant à l'extérieur et étayant le côté inférieur dudit panneau frontal (17), ladite aile étant pourvue d'une saillie (23) montrant à l'intérieur en formant une rainure (22) courant le long, etconjointement avec ledit panneau frontal (17), la seconde bande profilée (16) est insérée dans ladite première bande profilée (8) tellement que ladite aile inférieure (13) de ladite première bande profilée (8) s'engage avec la rainure (22) de ladite seconde bande profilée (16), et la carne supérieure de ladite seconde bande profilée (16) s'engage avec la rainure (11) de ladite première bande profilée (8). - Dispositif pour la rénovation d'escaliers d'après la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'on a prévu une pièce d'angle (1) entourant la carne avant de la vieille marche (6) où la première bande profilée (8) est adhérée à l'aile verticale (2), la première bande profilée (8) et la pièce d'angle (1) étant vissable à la vieille marche (6).
