The hydraulic fluid which can be drawn from the wheel brake (4) to the auxiliary pressure pump (2) can enter a reservoir (1) and from there can be pumped by a drive unit (17) of the auxiliary pressure pump (2) into the wheel brake circuit which connects the main cylinder (9) to the wheel brake (4). Also provided is an electronic control and regulating system (23) to monitor and actuate the pressure modulation valve (10, 11) and pump (2). A switching unit (20), which gauges how full the reservoir (1) is, can switch a drive (17) of the auxiliary pressure pump on or off, thereby reducing noise.

Description

Hydraulische Bremsanlage mit SchlupfregelungHydraulic brake system with slip control
The invention relates to a hydraulic brake system with slip control according to the preamble of claim 1.
A brake system with the features mentioned in the preamble of claim 1 emerges from the publication DE 42 194 50 AI. Arranged between the hydraulic connection of the wheel brake to the master cylinder, this brake system has an electromagnetically actuatable pressure modulation valve designed as a multi-way valve, which establishes or blocks the pressure medium connection between the wheel brake and the master cylinder. Another pressure modulation valve switches the hydraulic connection between the wheel brake and a pressure medium pump connected to a pressure medium accumulator. In order to reduce the pump noise during the brake pressure control and to prevent the pressure pulses from reacting to the brake pedal, a variably adjustable throttle point is provided between the pressure medium reservoir and the suction side of the auxiliary pressure pump.
This is disadvantageous in that this throttling point requires additional installation space and construction effort in the storage space, the pump noise not being able to be completely eliminated.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a hydraulic brake system with slip control which, by using simple, inexpensive means and without requiring additional space in the storage space of the pressure medium accumulator, ensures a damped, comfortable pedal movement, where necessary a Partial shutdown of the Auxiliary pressure pump to contribute to total noise elimination.
According to the invention, this object is essentially achieved by the characterizing features of patent claim 1, according to which a switching device which detects the state of charge of the pressure medium store is provided, with which a drive of the auxiliary pressure pump can be switched on or off. This ensures that the auxiliary pressure pump can be stopped in the discharged state of the storage space, while the state of charge of the pressure medium reservoir is an indication of the slip-regulated hydraulic pressure control in the wheel brake, so that a pressure medium supply via the auxiliary pressure pump to the wheel brake is required. Pump suction noises are therefore excluded when the pump is empty when the storage space is empty.
Further objectives, features, advantages and possible uses of the present invention result from the following description of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing according to FIG. 1. All of the described and / or illustrated features form the subject matter of the invention independently in any meaningful combination of their combination in their claims or their references.
Normalbremsstellung in elektromagnetischer stromlos geschlossener Grundstellung. The master cylinder 9 is connected to a wheel brake 4 via a pressure modulation valve 10 which is electromagnetically normally open in the basic position, both in the brake release and slip-free normal brake position. A hydraulically connected between the pressure modulation valve 10 and the brake 4 Another pressure modulation valve 11 is in the electromagnetically normally closed basic position during the brake release or normal braking position. The pressure medium reservoir 1, which is structurally shown in cross section and which is connected downstream of the blocked pressure modulation valve 11, thus remains depressurized. The pressure medium accumulator 1 is designed as a piston or spring accumulator. The piston in the function of a wall 8 which is axially movable in the storage space 13 is accordingly positioned by a compression spring 12 which is supported in the region of the closure body 3. For the purposes of the invention, a contact switch 7 is attached to the end of the compression spring 12 facing away from the movable wall 8, which is supported with its collar on a receiving bore in the closure body 3 under the action of the compression spring 12. The contact switch 7 has in its housing an opening directed towards the piston (wall 8), through which a plunger 5 extends, which opens or closes the switching contact 6 depending on the stroke. Between the switch contact 6 and the two-part housing of the contact switch 7 there is a compression spring 15 which, in its basic position, applies the plunger 5 to bent contact lugs, so that the electrical circuit for signal detection in the control and regulating electronics 23 for the control of the drive 17 on the auxiliary pressure pump 2 is closed. The plunger end opposite the contact bridge 18 on the plunger 5 is likewise acted upon by a compression spring 12 which is supported within a holding cage 19 which engages with the plunger 5 and the piston (wall 8). The compression spring 24 has a considerably greater spring stiffness to the compression spring 15 in the contact switch 7, so that, due to the series arrangement of the two compression springs 24, 15, a stroke ratio of the piston movement for the plunger movement is provided, as a result of which the overall length resulting from the Contact switch 7 and the actuator formed switching device 20 reduced. The relatively small tappet actuation stroke for the contact switch 7 with an unchanged long piston stroke of the movable wall 8 enables a deep installation position of the contact switch 7 in the housing bore of the pressure medium accumulator 1, so that the projection of the contact switch 7 on the outer housing contour is reduced to a mini mum is limited to lead out the cable or connector 21. The closure body 3 is preferably inserted as a rotationally symmetrical cover part in the housing bore and secured against falling out by means of a wire ring 22. The compression spring 12 held between the piston (wall 8) and the contact switch 7 fixes the closure body 3 on the wire ring 22. The closure body 3 forms with the contact switch 7, the plunger 5 attached to it and the holding cage 19 a preassembled unit which is only to be attached with the compression spring 12 in the housing of the pressure medium reservoir 1. The housing of the contact switch 7 with the closure body 3 can be designed as a bayonet closure.
The invention is described in more detail below in connection with the overall function of the brake system during a brake pressure control phase (ABS case).
In the event of impermissible brake slip between the vehicle wheel and the roadway, the pressure modulation valve 10 is switched to the blocking position. The wheel brake 4 is separated from the master cylinder 9 as well as from the hydraulically unloaded pressure medium accumulator 1 during this phase. As a result of the discharge state of the pressure medium store 1, the contact bridge 18 remains on the two contact lugs 16, so that an electrical circuit for defining the control commands of the drive 17 for the auxiliary pressure pump 2 remains closed. The auxiliary pressure pump 4 remains inactive, since the circuit signal interrupts the voltage supply for the electric drive 17. As a rule, the auxiliary pressure pump in ABS operation is not controlled directly via the switching state of the switching device 20, but via control electronics 23 known per se, the evaluation and monitoring circuits of which perform a plausibility check of various control and Makes switching signals.
If the pressure reduction phase is initiated by the electronic evaluation circuit in the control and regulating electronics 23, the pressure modulation valve 11, which is normally initially closed in the basic position, is switched electromagnetically to the open position, so that the inflow from the wheel brake 4 to the pressure medium reservoir 1 takes place, which was originally during volume locked up in the brake pressure phase in the wheel brake 4 is collected in the storage space 13 of the pressure medium accumulator 1. The piston (wall 8) is inevitably moved counter to the action of the compression spring 12 in the sense of a volume expansion, whereby at the same time the plunger 5 prefers a stroke over the initially unchanged length of the rigid compression spring 24, which stroke is used to interrupt the circuit between the contact bridge 18 and leads the contact flags 16. The electrical circuit of the drive 17 for the auxiliary pressure pump 2 is closed by means of the circuit interruption signal registered in the control and regulating electronics 23, so that the auxiliary pressure pump 2 starts up and pressure medium from the storage space due to the registered state of charge of the pressure medium reservoir 1 13 takes. After completion of the relatively small opening stroke between contact bridge 18 and contact tabs 16, the plunger 5 comes to a stop in the housing of the contact switch 7, so that the plunger stroke as the state of charge increases further in the memory space 13 is exceeded by the piston stroke, in which the plunger 5 compresses the compression spring 24 in the holding cage 19.
If the pressure modulator valve 11 feeding the pressure medium reservoir 1 switches back into the blocking position and the pressure modulation valve 10 blocking the wheel brake 4 back into its open position, the auxiliary pressure pump 2 can deliver pressure medium in the direction of the wheel brake 4 without hindrance. In the extreme case, the storage space 13 of the pressure medium reservoir 1 is thus emptied until the contact bridge 18 can come to rest against the contact lugs 16 in order to shut down the auxiliary pressure pump 2 again.
As a result of this pump control, the pump noise can be completely eliminated in certain brake pressure control phases when the storage space 13 is empty.
