Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention is based on a tubular bag machine with a device for keeping the inside of a film tube free of dust in its sealing area according to the preamble of claim 1. DE-AS 20 17 401 already discloses such a tubular bag machine, the shaped tube of which has air outlet openings in the lower area on the outer circumference . An annular space, which is connected to a compressed air or protective gas source, is formed in the shaped tube by a filling tube arranged therein. During operation of the tubular bag machine, compressed air or protective gas flows through the air outlet openings, so that an air or protective gas cushion is formed between the molded tube and the film area of the bag package that later forms the transverse seam, which prevents dust formed during the filling process from adhering to this film area.
A disadvantage of the known tubular bag machine is that the compressed air or the protective gas flows at a relatively high speed over the lower edge of the shaped tube in the area of the filling material outlet into the hose, and thus leads to an additional swirling of the filling material or dust in the hose. As a result, waiting times for the dust to settle in the tube are necessary before the film area forming the transverse seam is transported, which reduces the performance of the known tubular bag machine.
Furthermore, DE-AS 15 11 636 discloses a tubular bag machine of the generic type with a longitudinally displaceable shaped mandrel for delivering the filling material near the end of the tubular bag and with a suction line for venting the annular space between the shaped mandrel and the filling tube. A disadvantage of this tubular bag machine is that the displaceable shaping mandrel requires a high level of mechanical effort and, when using protective gas instead of air, part of the protective gas is lost from the tubular bag machine.
It is therefore desirable that, in addition to reliable dedusting of the film area forming the transverse seam of the bag pack, it is also possible to extract the dust. Furthermore, as little protective gas as possible should be lost when using protective gas.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The tubular bag machine according to the invention with a Device for keeping the inside of a dust free Foil tube in its sealing area with the characteristic features of claim 1 has in contrast the advantage that air or protective gas by means of a Suction device with filter circulated and the sealing area can be targeted. On the one hand, this is a Safe dedusting of the later cross seam Film area of the bag package, and on the other hand, in the Use of protective gas, its extensive recirculation or reuse ensured.

Further advantages and advantageous developments of Invention result from the dependent claims and the Description.

A simple separation of the annular space between the shaped tube and the filling tube into two elongated areas is possible by means of two sealing elements.
A particularly good guidance of the air or gas flow, as well as a low discharge of the filling material, results from an overflow area in the area of the discharge end of the filling pipe that is free of sealing elements.

Zeichnungdrawing

An embodiment of the invention is in the drawing shown and is described in more detail in the following description explained. 1 shows a tubular bag machine with a device for keeping the inside of a dust free Foil tube in its sealing area simplified in Front view and Fig.2 is a cross section of the Flow pack machine according to Fig.1 in level II-II of Fig. 1.

Beschreibung des AusführungsbeispielsDescription of the embodiment

A tubular bag machine 10 known per se has a shaped shoulder 11 and a shaped tube 12, with the aid of which a tube 15 is formed from a packaging material web 13 made of sealable material. At least one transport device for the hose 15, for example in the form of a pneumatically controlled conveyor belt 17, is arranged on the outside of the molded tube 12. Furthermore, a longitudinal seam sealing device 18 is provided in the area of the shaped tube 12, and a transverse seam and separating device 19 for the hose 15 is provided below the shaped tube 12. Above the shaped tube 12 there is a filling funnel 21 which opens into a filling tube 22 which is arranged coaxially in the shaped tube 12 and together with it forms an annular space 23. The filling hopper 21 is assigned a metering screw 24 which continues in the filling tube 22, only the upper part of which is shown in FIG. 1 for the sake of simplicity. The discharge end 26 of the filling tube 22 is flush with the end of the molded tube 12. At the upper end of the molded tube 12, the filling tube 22 is sealed off from the molded tube 12 by means of an annular disk 27.
Between the annular disc 27 and the discharge end 26, two rectilinear sealing elements 28 are arranged diametrically in the annular space 23. These each consist of an elastically deformable rubber hose or a rubber strand with a circular cross section, but can also be designed, for example, in the form of sheet metal strips. The sealing elements 28 divide the annular space 23 into two elongated channels 31, 32, the former of which is referred to as the supply channel 31 and the latter as the suction channel 32. The sealing elements 28, the upper ends of which seal tightly with the annular disk 27, extend at their lower ends only to above the discharge end 26, so that an overflow region 33 free of sealing elements is formed in the annular space 23 above the discharge end 26. It is essential that the sealing elements 28 seal the channels 31, 32 tightly against one another.
In the annular disc 27, two lines 34, 35 are arranged, one of which 34 is connected to the feed channel 31 and the other 35 to the suction channel 32. The lines 34, 35 lead to a suction device 36 with a filter 37.

The device described above works as follows: A tube 15 is continuously or intermittently formed by the tubular bag machine 10, into which a metered quantity of filling material is filled at intervals by means of the dosing screw 24 through the filling tube 22. The dust arising in the case of the filling material from the discharge end 26 of the filling tube 22 into the hose 15 is sucked off by the suction device 36 from the hose 15 through the suction channel 32, so that no dust forms on the area of the packaging material web 13 which later forms the transverse seam of the bag pack can discontinue. The dust / air mixture is cleaned by the filter 37 of the suction device 36. The dedusted air is then fed back to the feed channel 31 so that a closed circuit is achieved.
When using protective gas, which is introduced into the filling hopper 21, for example, via a device (not shown), the closed circuit ensures that no protective gas escapes from the tubular bag machine 10 when the suction device 36 is designed accordingly, in particular if the filling hopper 21 also flows outwards is sealed off. Since the sealing elements 28 do not reach the discharge end 26, the majority of the air or gas flows from the feed channel 31 via the overflow area 33 directly into the suction channel 32, the dust whirled up in the hose 15 being entrained. By guiding the air or gas flow over the overflow area 33 it is achieved that the filling material flow is not used for dust entrainment. This results in little or no filling material discharge, which increases the efficiency of the tubular bag machine 10 and avoids filling material losses.
