Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device supply of ammunition for portable weapons automatic, in which the supply is controlled by the return of the cylinder head and the magazine containing the ammunition extends parallel to the axis of the barrel of the weapon, the ammunition being arranged perpendicular to the aforementioned axis and under it.
The invention relates in particular to a supply device for so-called "fragile" ammunition, such as ammunition without socket.
In most portable weapons, the phase supply takes place when the cylinder head returns. This last drives the ammunition from its presentation position (substantially parallel to the axis of the barrel) to the chamber of the barrel by pushing (shocks) on the base of the ammunition.
Ammunition without casing is too fragile for such a feeding principle. we must therefore consider a device appropriate supply that allows the transfer of ammunition by minimizing the forces applied to it.
In addition, this feeding device must allow the transfer of ammunition from a longitudinal magazine placed in the axis of the barrel, the ammunition being presented perpendicular to the axis of the barrel.
This choice takes advantage of the advantages offered by light ammunition because it allows to integrate chargers to large capacity (increased endowment of ammunition from infantryman) without altering the compactness of the weapon.
Patent FR2257887, the description of which is taken from the preamble of claim 1, describes a weapon with a rotating chamber comprising a longitudinal loader and in which the ammunition is introduced into the chamber perpendicular to the axis of the barrel. This device implements a pusher introduction which exerts an effort on the base of the ammunition. In addition it implements a rotating chamber specific and cannot be transposed to a weapon in which the ammunition must be introduced into the barrel.
Patent application EP599683 published on 06/01/94 and benefiting from the priority date of 24/11/92 described also an ammunition supply system for a handgun rotary chamber. This device also does not allow the introduction of ammunition into the barrel of a weapon.
- during a first phase take a piece of ammunition located at one end of the magazine and move it in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the barrel to introduce it at the same time into a guide,
- during a second phase rotate the guide 90 ° to place the ammunition in the axis of the barrel,
ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme comprend deux leviers commandés par le recul de la culasse et permettant de prélever et déplacer la munition avec un élévateur, l'élévateur permettant l'introduction de la munition dans le guide au cours de la première phase et étant conformé de façon à tourner avec le guide et la munition au cours de la deuxième phase, mécanisme permettant également pendant une troisième phase de déplacer l'élévateur vers le canon pour introduire la munition dans ce dernier et la libérer en même temps du guide.this device is characterized in that the mechanism includes two levers controlled by the recoil of the cylinder head and allowing to take and move the ammunition with a elevator, the elevator allowing the introduction of the ammunition in the guide during the first phase and being shaped so as to rotate with the guide and the ammunition at during the second phase, mechanism also allowing during a third phase to move the elevator towards the gun to introduce the ammunition into the latter and the release the guide at the same time.
The feeding device thus allows when reversing of the breech to take the magazine ammunition from from their position perpendicular to the barrel, raising them up, then rotate them 90 ° to present them next to the barrel and finally to push them successively in the barrel.
During the whole operation, no shock is applied against ammunition, so that it does not risk to be damaged and the automatic functioning of the weapon does not risk of being disturbed.
According to an advantageous version of the invention, the cylinder head has on one of its sides a groove in which is engaged a finger secured to part of the mechanism feed, this groove comprising a first part extending from the rear of the cylinder head in parallel to the direction of movement of the bolt, a second part forming a rising ramp and a third part extending parallel to the direction of travel of the breech forward of it.
This groove controls successively the elevation of the elevator perpendicular to the direction of movement of the bolt, the rotation of 90 ° of the elevator and guide, then the displacement of the elevator towards the barrel.
According to a feature of the invention, said finger is carried by the end of a first lever pivotally connected to a fixed part of the weapon, the other end of this lever being connected so articulated with a second lever which is itself connected pivoting on the one hand to a member rotatably mounted in part of the weapon, said member comprising a guide to position and transport the ammunition and other on the other hand, the lever being articulated at the ammunition elevator.
Preferably, said member is mounted in rotation in an imprint formed in the housing of tear.
According to another feature of the invention, said member is a flat piece of substantially shaped circular, guided in rotation in a footprint of complementary form.
Preferably, said member comprises on one of its faces, a groove in which is engaged the elevator.
This groove guides the sliding of the elevator.
Preferably also said member carries a guide with a chute for receiving a ammunition and extending parallel to the groove in which is engaged the elevator.
According to another feature of the invention, the elevator comprises a rectilinear part engaged in the groove of said member to be able to slide in this one, this rectilinear part comprising at its lower end, a heel extending towards the chute carried by said member, said heel being capable of engage under ammunition to move it around the chute of said organ during the elevation of said elevator.
