Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for treating a Material web passing through at least one nip a nip arrangement is performed, and a Device for treating a material web with a Treatment station.
- Such a method and device are known from DE-A-4 112 537. This is the material web soaked before going through a nip that the moisture content in the inner layers of the Web substantially less or at most as large as is in the outer layer. This is achieved, for example with a dielectric paper web heater.
- EP-A-0578036 describes a sealing plate calender and a method for manufacturing sealing plates.
- the calender has a large heated heating roller Diameter and a pressure roller of smaller diameter that form a nip, into which one of a premixed mixture consisting of rubber, fibers and Solvents existed, introduced. By several turns a hollow cylinder is created from the heating roller many fine layers after the vulcanization process can be removed by cutting open can.
- the calender is surrounded by a protective hood, so that evaporating and evaporating solvents are suctioned off can be. Are inside this protective hood additional radiant heaters are provided, which are the mixture Warm up.
- DE-A-3907168 describes a method in an integrated IR dryer / Yankee hood and such Hood with an IR dryer in front of the wet end segment a Yankee cylinder is arranged. From the IR dryer 3 heated cooling air is removed and this in the space between the hood and the Yankee cylinder fed.
- the roller Before further processing, e.g. calendering in an off-line calender, which represent the treatment station here the roller usually cools to the ambient temperature from. However, the cooling does not take place evenly over the entire roll cross-section. Much more sets the cooling on the outer layers of the roll and on the end faces and only gradually sits down continued inside. So in the role arises Temperature gradient, mainly from the inside out is directed outside, but also certain components in Has axial direction of the roller.
- the temperature gradient across the radius of the web roll now has the consequence that when the Material web in the calender the temperature of the web constantly changing. It increases with the length of the unwind to. Because the surface temperatures of the calender heating rollers are kept constant changes the satin result over the length of the paper web. The the same effect can be achieved, if not to the extent observe in a direction transverse to the material web. Occasionally occur on the edges, which are already stronger cooled down than the middle area, other satin effects that are eliminated with other measures have to.
- the object of the invention is therefore the treatment result to even out.
- This task is carried out in a method of the type mentioned at the beginning Art solved in that the web of one Rolled out and the one still on the roll Material web before unwinding for a predetermined one Minimum duration of a predetermined ambient atmosphere is exposed.
- the predetermined ambient atmosphere a higher temperature than the normal environment and / or moisture.
- the temperature can can be set to the desired temperature corresponds to the role. But it can also be set be that they are the temperature of the material web at the exit of the production machine, for example the Paper machine, corresponds. The same goes for the Humidity. The roll should have cooled more the temperature can also be something above this Increase the value in order to warm up the Role.
- the ambient atmosphere preferably has a temperature and / or moisture that is essentially the temperature and / or humidity inside the roll corresponds.
- This temperature can, for example by arranged inside the roll on the roll core Sensors are determined. But it can also as already mentioned above be that the temperature of the train at the exit the production machine or another treatment upstream processing machine measures. Man can be assumed in a first approximation that this temperature corresponds to the core temperature of the roll. The same applies to their moisture.
- the roll continuously provides moisture over its surface so that there is also a moisture gradient, which compensates with the help of the surrounding atmosphere can be.
- the role on the storage space is rotated. So there is no danger that due to a possibly uneven temperature and / or Distribution of moisture in the vicinity of the Storage space a one-sided loading of the role with these deviating values. Rather, the role is through its movement evenly heated and / or moistened.
- the task is accomplished by a device of the beginning mentioned type in that the treatment station an unwinding station upstream and the unwinding station a roll magazine that has at least one Storage space for the material web wound on a roll shows upstream, the storage space is arranged in a chamber whose atmosphere to a predetermined temperature and / or predetermined humidity is adjustable.
- the chamber has only a limited volume that is easily air-conditioned.
- the energy expenditure is kept relatively small.
- the working atmosphere for workers in the area of Treatment station is not adversely affected by this. Nevertheless, can be set in the chamber with the help of Atmosphere a uniform temperature and / or Moisture distribution achieved in the roll become.
- the treatment station preferably has a fluid-fed one Heating with flow line and return line on, and one of the two lines, especially the Return line, is preferably via a bypass line connected to a chamber heater.
- heated calender rolls are often used Treatment of the material web used.
- the heating fluid does not give the heat completely to the Calender rolls, but will continue with one quite high temperature back to their heater returned. Part of this residual heat in the heating fluid is now used to heat the chamber. The extent can be checked via the bypass line the heating. If necessary, you can Proportion of liquid flowing through the bypass line to adjust.
- the chamber heater preferably has a fan on.
- the fan causes forced air movement, so that the air passes the chamber heater becomes. With this simple measure you can short time a very even temperature distribution ensure in the chamber.
- an air humidification device in connection with the chamber heating is provided.
- the increase in temperature in the chamber usually leads to a lowering of the relative Humidity and therefore the risk that the role dries out on the outside to an undesirable extent.
- the humidifier can now one used to compensate for this phenomenon.
- the chamber advantageously has at least one closable one Opening up. About this opening or this The roller can be inserted into the chamber and openings be taken from her. Because the openings are closable, the ambient atmosphere in the Chamber detained. The energy loss is relative low. The adjustment of the uniformity of the ambient atmosphere and the desired temperature greatly simplified. External disturbances are largely avoided.
- roller shutter can be provided for the opening.
- This roller shutter requires a mechanical drive. It closes but opening with greater reliability.
- the roller magazine in front of the chamber has at least one additional storage space. This storage space is then used to insert web rolls in the reel magazine.
- the movement of the Role within the role magazine is in most Cases easier than the insertion in the roll magazine.
- the times for feeding are accordingly the chamber is shorter than when inserting the roll directly into the chamber.
- the opening used for loading the chamber must therefore only for a shorter time be kept open, making the energy loss small holds.
- the roll is preferably transported into the Chamber essentially horizontal. There are deviations here from the exact horizontal of course possible.
- the direction of movement has the advantage that the Openings can run essentially vertically, so that even when opening the chamber, there is little heat rising air can be lost.
- the roller magazine preferably has an inclined bearing surface arrangement on that led through the chamber is and holding devices at least for the storage space in the chamber and possibly for the storage space immediately in front of the chamber.
- the roll then rolls on an incline Level down. This allows relatively short delivery times realize.
- the role is in the chamber then stopped by a holding device.
- the holding device at the storage location immediately before the Chamber serves to keep the roll waiting in front of the chamber does not rest on the parts that make up the loading opening close the chamber. This way the movement these parts are not hindered.
- roller accelerator again serves the loading and unloading times for shorten the chamber.
- the openings must accordingly only kept open for a short time become.
- the role is available for a longer time in which she can stay in the chamber.
- the Ambient atmosphere in the chamber has accordingly the maximum possible time available on the Role.
- a line being provided is the inside of the case with the inside of the Chamber and / or the chamber heater connects. Leave with it itself in the processing station and in the chamber create the same environmental conditions. If how this is often the case, the processing station one heated roller or other heated element the waste heat can not only be discharged through the return line, but directly about the atmosphere of the Feed chamber. This also brings considerable energy savings with yourself.
- the invention is based on a preferred Embodiment in connection with the drawing described.
- the only figure here shows one schematic view of a device for treatment of material web rolls.
- a device 1 for treating a roll 2 wound material web 3 has one through Calender 4 formed treatment station 5.
- the calender 4 has two roll stacks 6, 7, each with three Roll on. Each roll stack 6, 7 thus forms two Nips.
- the middle roller 8, 9 of each roller stack 6, 7 is designed as a heating roller. About one Each heating roller is not shown in advance 8, 9 fed a liquid heating medium. The Heating medium is discharged again via a return 10.
- the material web 3 is through the calender 4 led that each web side with a heating roller 8, 9 comes into contact.
- a treatment station is connected upstream of the treatment station 5 11, in which the material web 3 in the direction an arrow 12 is unwound from the roll 2.
- the Unwinding station 11 has a handling device known per se 13 for handling roll cores 14, which form the inside of each roller 2.
- a roll magazine is connected upstream of the unwinding station 11 15 with several memory locations 16, 17, 18.
- Die Storage spaces are arranged on an inclined rail 19, on which the rollers 2 with their shaft ends lie on.
- the rollers 2 under the effect of gravity towards the unwinding station 11 roll, the inclination is relatively low is, so the roles are still essentially horizontal move.
- To brake the rollers 2 in the respective Memory locations and to accelerate the role the respective storage locations are only schematic shown holding and accelerating devices 20 provided. At least this is true for the last and penultimate memory location 18, 17 in Roll magazine 15.
- the last storage location 18 in the roll magazine 15, that is the storage space adjacent to the unwind station 11 is surrounded by a housing 21.
- the housing 21 includes a chamber 22.
- the housing 21 has a loading opening which can be closed by a roller door 23 24 and a lockable also by a roller shutter 25 Discharge opening 26.
- a roller door 23 24 can be closed by a roller door 23 24 and a lockable also by a roller shutter 25 Discharge opening 26.
- other means for closing the openings 24, 26 are used, for example curtain arrangements, which, like roller shutters 23, 25, does not have one need own drive, but from the role 2 can be pushed aside.
- the chamber 22 can be air-conditioned, i.e. the air or Atmosphere in chamber 22 can be considered Set temperature and humidity to predetermined values. If necessary, you can also on a setting avoid moisture.
- a heating device is used to set the temperature 27 provided.
- the heater 27 is by a Part of the return line 10 from the heating rollers 8, 9 formed the meandering as a bypass line Through which the chamber 22 is guided.
- a valve 29 is provided to set the Amount of heating fluid passed through chamber 22 .
- the valve 29 can be controlled by a control device depending on that in chamber 11 prevailing temperature can be regulated.
- the heating device 27 has a fan 30 on, the air forcibly on the bypass line 28 passed to warm them up.
- the fan 30 leads to an even distribution at the same time the heated air in the chamber 22, so that the roller 2 essentially evenly heated from all sides Is exposed to air.
- About the Humidifier 31 can be the relative Set air humidity in chamber 22.
- the treatment station 5 is also schematic with one illustrated housing 32 provided.
- This housing 32 has an access opening 33 and an outlet opening 34 for the material web 3. These two openings 33 and 34 must remain open at all times.
- lockable Openings 35, 36 are provided which are so large are that with the help of a schematically illustrated Cranes 37 or other help the rollers of the roller stack 6, 7 can be replaced.
- the openings 35, 36 are closed by roller doors 38, 39. It can also use sliding, folding or other gates become. Access is not the case here critical because the rollers of the roller stack 6, 7 are less common must be changed as the roles 2 in the Unwind station 11.
- the housing 32 is thermally insulated. It mainly serves the radiation emitted by the heating rollers 8, 9 Limit heat. These rollers work with heating capacities in the range of 20 kW each Meter roll length. The energy expenditure and with it associated energy losses are significant. By encapsulation using the housing 32 can the losses are drastically reduced.
- the housing 32 also by extending the encapsulation of the previous one Drying section of the paper machine formed become.
- the housing 32 is also shown schematically Steam generating device 40 provided Steam into the interior via three feed nozzles 41, 42, 43 of the housing 32 blows.
- the housing 32 thus has, so to speak the function of an oversized steam humidifier.
- the material web 3 running through the housing 32 not only the pressure and the temperature in exposed to the nips of the roll stacks 6, 7, but also the correspondingly higher temperature and Humidity of the atmosphere inside the case 32.
- the moisture of the material web 3 can with the help of a Measuring device 44 can be measured using the steam generating device 40 is connected and controls this. This creates a closed control loop to control the moisture of the material web.
- the Interior of the housing 32 is via a line 45 in the if necessary, a conveyor 46 is provided may be connected to the interior of the chamber 22.
- a transport of atmosphere is thus via line 45 from the processing station 5 into the chamber 22 possible.
- the heating rollers 8, 9 released energy also for heating the chamber 22 be used.
- the steam generator 40 accordingly humidifies the atmosphere in the housing 32, can also transfer this moisture into the chamber 22 become.
- the device 1 works as follows:
- a roll 2 is deposited, for example with the help a crane or a lifting vehicle.
- roll 2 moves in the roll magazine 15 one space to the right and finally arrives in chamber 22.
- the Roll with elevated temperature or an elevated Moisture applied so that the temperature distribution, which becomes uneven when stored in the roller magazine 15 has been leveled again.
- the Unwinding in the unwinding station 11 becomes one tempered relatively evenly over the length and width Roll unwound and the treatment station 5 fed.
- the material web is in the treatment station 5 3 not just an increased pressure and an increased Temperature in the nips of the roll stack 6, 7 exposed, but also to the increased moisture, caused by the steam generating device 40 has been.
- the moisture is using of the measuring device 44 regulated, for example to one Value of the ambient humidity in a print shop corresponds in which the paper web are processed should.
