  1. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector of a general parallelepidic shape, and comprising a female part (1,1b,1d) intended to receive a male part (10,10b,10d), characterised in that one of the parts consists of two dog points (6,6a-6b,6c-6d,6e) on each of its opposing faces, whilst the other part consists of two toothed sectors (24,26-35,41-35d,41d), mounted pivotally on each of its two corresponding opposing faces, each sector displaying an aperture (21,28-37,44-37d,44d) opening into a cam (22,29-38,45-38d,45d) each cam being intended to co-operate with a corresponding dog point, and means (16,16b,66) being mounted on the part comprising the toothed sectors to control rotation of these latter in one direction towards a first open position, and rotation in the opposite direction towards a second locking position.
  2. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claim 1, characterised in that these control means of the toothed sectors (24,26) are constituted by a lever (16) interdependent with one of the sectors, these latter meshing with one another, the cams of the sectors being symmetrical with regard to a perpendicular plane median to a plane passing through axes around which the sectors pivot.
  3. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claim 1, characterised in that it comprises a transmission gear wheel (39,39d) on each of the two opposing faces, inserted between sectors (35,41-35d,41d) and means (16b,66) for selectively driving the transmission gear wheels in a direction corresponding to the first open position and in the opposite direction, corresponding to the second locked position.
  4. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claim 3, characterised in that the means for driving the transmission gear wheels is comprised of a lever (16b) having two side pieces each interdependent with the corresponding transmission gear wheel (39).
  5. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claim 3, characterised in that the means for driving the transmission gear wheel (39d) comprises a stirrup piece (66) mounted slidingly on the housing part (10d) comprising sectors (35d,41d) and comprising racks (70) co-operating with the transmission gear wheels.
  6. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claim 5, characterised in that it comprises means for wedging the stirrup piece (66) on the corresponding housing part in two extreme opposed positions, one of which corresponds to the first open position, and the other to the second locked position.
  7. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claims 1,2 and 4, characterised in that the part provided with the lever (16,16b) comprises a flexible hook(32,32b) intended to co-operate with said lever (16,16b) to block this latter in the locked position.
  8. A coupling device for two housing parts of an electrical connector according to claims 1,2 and 4, characterised in that the part provided with the lever (16,16b) comprises abutments (30), limiting the tipping over of said lever towards the open position and means (31) for keeping said lever in this position.
