Abstract

A paper machine forming section with two twin-wire sections for forming a multilayer paper web. Each twin wire web-forming unit consisting of a headbox, two wire loops arranged to define a common wire path for molding the web being formed in sandwich-like manner and drainage elements for each of the wire loops. The common wire path of each web-forming unit has a first section including a curved suction drainage element or roll in the first lower wire loop; a second section including opposing drainage ledges, wherein the drainage ledges are stationary on the upper side and the drainage ledges are developed resiliently pressable on the bottom side; the drainage ledges of the upper and lower sides are arranged staggered with respect to each other in the direction of travel of the wire, and at least the ledges of the upper side are developed with suction; and a third section which has at least one suction wire separating element on one side. The twin-wire forming units are so arranged that the same drainage elements are associated in each case with what will be the inner and outer sides respectively of the respective layer of the multilayer paper web.

Description

The invention relates to a paper machine for producing a multilayer paper web, in particular a paper machine with a plurality of twin wire formers.

Eine ähnliche Papiermaschine ist aus US 4,830,709 bekannt.A similar paper machine is known from US 4,830,709.

In this document, a paper machine for producing a multilayer paper web is shown with the help of two twin wire formers. A special feature of the illustrated embodiments is, on the one hand, the fact that two double-wire sections are formed with the aid of three sieve loops, the middle sieve loop leading through both sieve sections. Another embodiment shows a first twin-wire former with a long, forwardly extended lower wire, on which the paper web formed by the second twin-wire former is placed through the lower wire of the second twin-wire former.

The aim of the illustrated embodiments is to provide a twin former that can handle the widest possible range of paper weights and screen speeds.

The disadvantage here is that an essential requirement for the paper webs is not met, namely that the two surfaces of the multilayer paper web formed have properties that are as uniform as possible due to the constellation of the drainage elements.

It is an object of the invention to present a paper machine with at least two twin wire formers which produce a multi-layer paper which has the most uniform paper properties possible on the two outer sides.

The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Accordingly, to form a paper web, at least two twin wire formers are used to produce the respective outer paper layer, the configuration of the twin wire formers with respect to the drainage elements being such that the paper webs each have the same properties on their outside and inside. This is achieved by treating the paper web which is being formed in a "mirror-image-like manner". This means that the twin wire former is equipped in such a way that, for example, the outside of the resulting paper webs come into contact with the first curved drainage element and the following elastically pressed drainage strips, while the sides of the paper layers formed in the final web on the inside with the fixed ones Drainage elements of the twin wire former come into contact.

This configuration produces a very uniform paper property, with appropriate design of the drainage strips and arrangement of the drainage strips, for example, to ensure that, depending on the requirements, the filler and / or the fine material portions are increasingly shifted to the outside. For example, this also improves the adherence of the two layers to one another by shifting the fine material portions onto the outside of the paper, as a result of which fibers increasingly appear on the adjacent inner sides of a two-layer web. This results in a better mutual "interlocking" of the layers and as a result there is better adhesion of the two layers after gouging.

Another advantage of the idea of the invention is that the twin wire formers used at least equivalent or even better formation and at least equivalent and often better blade properties, such as better constancy of the basis weight profile and less spreading of the strength values, at the same time bring an energy saving, in contrast to hybrid formers.

The invention is described with reference to the figure. The following is shown therein: FIG. 1 shows an example of a twin gap former consisting of a first twin wire former UF for the lower layer and a second twin wire former OF for the upper paper layer. The two twin-wire formers are arranged identically with respect to the arrangement of their dewatering elements, based on the paper running direction, the running direction being directed towards one another. Because of this arrangement, the sides of the paper layers with the same property in each case are ultimately brought together, while in turn the paper layer sides with the respective other same property form the outside of the final paper web. The individual twin wire former itself is designed as follows: One upper and lower wire U1 and U2 or O1 and O2 is provided for each twin wire former, which is circulated over a corresponding number of deflecting rollers, so that it is from the headbox U3 or O3 dispensed material suspension sandwiches between the top and bottom sieve. In this case, the bottom wire U2 or O2 is passed over a suction roll in which the first part of the dewatering takes place. This corresponds to section I of the twin wire former. The subsequent section II of the twin wire former consists of a large number of elastically compressible strips in a suction box U5 or O5, which is located within the lower wire U2 or O2, ie in the same wire loop as the breast roller U4 or O4. Opposite the elastic strips is another suction box U6 or O6, in which a plurality of fixed drainage strips are arranged and which is located in the sieve loop of the respective top sieve. Section II is followed by section III, in which, in the example shown, a further fixed drainage element U7 or O7 is located in the sieve loop of the lower sieve. Subsequently, still in section III, a screen separating element U8 or O8 is provided, which supports the separation of the top screen from the bottom screen with the paper layer lying thereon.

In the case shown, the bottom wire of the upper twin wire former O2 is then deflected downwards via a deflecting roller, while the lower wire of the lower twin wire former U2 runs straight on, so that the paper layer on the wire O2 comes into contact with the paper layer on the wire U2, after which it becomes Sieve O2 is supported by another flat suction device U9, from which the paper layers that have meanwhile been separated are separated and fed back to the upper twin wire former via guide rollers. The screen belt U2 leads the two layers of paper that have now been brought together to the take-off point of the press section and is then guided back to the first breast roller U4 via several deflecting rollers.

In der gezeigten Ausführungsform können die Spann- und Regulierwalzen S,R unterhalb der Sieb-Ebene liegen, wodurch besonders vorteilhaft eine geringere Bauhöhe zu verwirklichen ist.FIG. 2 shows a similar design to FIG. 2, but here the separating suction device O8 from FIG. 1 has been omitted, the safe separation of the upper wire O1 taking place on a smooth forming roller F by lifting the upper wire O1 while the wire O2 is being lifted the web lying on it still wraps around the forming roller F. In the embodiment shown, the tensioning and regulating rollers S, R can lie below the screen level, which makes it particularly advantageous to achieve a lower overall height.

Figure 3 shows a situation similar to Figure 2, but in a particularly compact design. This was achieved in that the lower sieve O2 of the overhead twin wire former OF is identical to the upper sieve U1 of the lower twin wire former UF. As a result, this middle screen U1, O2 leads the multilayered web to the take-off point, which enables a structurally more favorable arrangement in the building.

Figures 4 and 5 show two combination variants of a fourdrinier with a twin sieve to form a two-ply paper.
