- Apparatus for drying loose material (19), including at least one loose material container (10), which is connected to an air drying means (11) and a heating means (15) in a closed air circuit, and wherein the dry, heated air or dry, heated gas is moved through the loose material by means of a fan in order to extract moisture from the loose material, then the spent air from the loose material container is dried again and heated by means of the heating means and then supplied again to the loose material container, wherein a connection (16) for supplying the dry air or gas is provided in the upper region of the loose material container, and this connection terminates in a pipe (17), which is disposed substantially centrally in the container, the lower end of said pipe being provided with an air distributor (18), characterised in that the pipe (17) is provided with a heat insulating means, at least internally of the loose material container (10).
- Apparatus for drying loose material according to claim 1, characterised in that the pipe (17) is configured as a double pipe.
- Apparatus for drying loose material according to claim 1, characterised in that the pipe (17) is provided with an internally situated, flexible and temperature-resistant hose.
- Apparatus for drying loose material according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the pipe (17) is disposed concentrically at the upper end of the container (10) or extends concentrically through the container.
- Apparatus for drying loose material according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the heating means (15) for heating the dry air is disposed internally of the pipe (17), which extends in the container (10), or immediately at the inlet where the pipe (17) enters the container (10).
