Definitions
- the invention relates to a gas-impermeable, chemical-resistant Protective suit made of a film-coated Fleece is made.
- the fabric of the protective suits will be liquid-repellent Impregnated or impregnated fabrics.
- Other materials that have a protective function have different polymer outer layers.
- U.S. Patent No. 4,833,010 describes a suit material which consists of several layers.
- This Material consists of a polypropylene fabric on which on the one hand a coating of ethylene vinyl alcohol / nylon / polyethylene and to the other one Polyvinylidene chloride / ethylene vinyl acetate / polyethylene coating is applied.
- the object of the present invention was therefore to hermetically sealed protective suit available who avoids the disadvantages mentioned above.
- the polyester, polyamide, aramid or polypropylene fabrics or knitted fabrics have a basis weight of 30 to 300 g / m 2 , preferably 80 to 160 g / m 2 .
- a needle punch is preferably used as the needle punch, which has a basis weight of 30 to 300 g / m 2 , preferably of 80 to 160 g / m 2 .
- the individual fibers contained in the fleece have a fineness structure from 0.1 to 30 dtex.
- the woven or knit-reinforced fleece becomes inherently known methods by means of Needling from the fabric or knitted fabric and the individual fibers.
- the fleeces are through Needling non-woven bonded nonwovens.
- the same polymer is used for the fabric or knitted fabric and the microfibers used.
- Polyester is particularly preferred as the nonwoven material.
- Fig. 1 shows the schematic structure of the invention fleece used 10.
- the fleece 10 consists of the Fleece layer 1 and the composite film 11.
- the fleece layer 1 contains a fabric reinforcement 2.
- On the non-woven layer 1 an inner polyethylene layer 7 is applied, followed by an adhesive layer 6, an EVOH layer 5, a further adhesive layer 4 and the outer polyethylene layer 3.
- the polyethylene layer 3 faces the outside 9 of the protective suit, while the fleece layer 1 body side 8 directed towards the body of the wearer.
- fleece used has a high water absorption capacity having.
- the fleece is capillary active and changed its structure does not absorb water. It finds neither swelling nor softening of the Fleece instead.
- the water absorption capacity was according to DIN 53923 determined and was at least 150%.
- the fleece is high frequency weldable. Not only that Foil structure welded, but also the fleece itself. The usual effects of burning or melting away of the fleece is not observed.
- halogen-free materials means that safe disposal of protective suits, for example guaranteed by burning.
- protective suits according to the invention have excellent mechanical strength.
- VFDB guideline 0801 VFDB: Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection
- protective suits should have a tensile strength of at least 600 N in warp and weft.
- the protective suit according to the invention has so far met this directive as the first suit.
- the values are shown in Table 1. Tear resistance according to VFDB in N. Direction of tearing Tensile strength standard > 600 N. Chain 620 N Shot 800 N
- the manufacturing the protective suits preferably sew the material connected with each other.
- the techniques of seam tracking and education are known per se.
- the Seams with a possibly multi-layer masking tape made of film material, which may be identical to that of the suit material can be covered to to achieve absolute gas tightness.
- Protective suits are preferably made from such film-coated Nonwovens manufactured, in which the film coating applied twice over the fleece becomes.
- the protective suits according to the invention also have excellent resistance to a number of frequently used chemicals.
- the durability parameters are given in Table 2. Results of permeation measurements according to VFDB guideline 0801 chemical Breakthrough (min) acetone > 240 Acetonitrile > 240 Acetyl chloride > 240 Ammonia (gas) > 240 Ammonia, aq.
- a film-coated fleece was used, which has the following layer sequence in the film structure from the outside in: PE 3020 D 40 ⁇ m Adhesion promoter (PVA) 10 ⁇ m EVOH 15 ⁇ m Adhesion promoter (PVA) 10 ⁇ m PE 361 HF + 4% EVA 45 ⁇ m
- This composite film which is produced by methods known per se, is bonded by conventional methods to a polyester fabric with a basis weight of 120 g / m 2 and a suspension of polyester microfibers with an average fine structure of the individual fibers of 15 dtex by means of thermal calendering treatment.
- the film-coated fleece is made according to the VFDB guideline 0801 examined for tensile strength.
- the Results are shown in Table 1.
- the water absorption is measured according to the DIN 53923. The value found is more than 150%.
- the gas tightness of the complete suit measured.
- the protective suit with oil-free compressed air inflated to 25 mbar.
- the overpressure was raised to 16 mbar from 3 min (Test pressure) lowered.
- the observed pressure drop is in the permissible range (permissible pressure drop after the VFDB guideline 0801: 2 mbar after 3 min).
