Definitions

  • the invention relates to a writing instrument, in particular a Fountain pen, with an ink or other writing fluid fillable storage space, which is connected via a connecting channel with a flow regulator and a writing tip connected and that from a spare room is refillable by opening one in a basic position closed refill valve can be connected to the storage room is, the connecting channel through a in its basic position open isolating valve is lockable, the connected to the refill valve by an actuator is.
  • the reserve room based on normal writing arranged the storage room.
  • the closure element of the Refill valve is connected to a plunger on the opposite end of the order from the spare room is led out such that by depressing the First push the closure element into an open position and then again in a closed position can be moved.
  • the known writing instrument is in the closed position of the refill valve only that Volume of the pantry effective.
  • the pantry can therefore be designed so that the largest possible, included Air volume from the compensation capacity of the capillary system is safely mastered at the top of the order, so that there is no uneven ink flow and one dirty typeface can come. Is the pantry is written in blank, this is done by opening the refill valve the storage room again with ink from the spare room filled.
  • the known writing instrument has the disadvantage that it cannot be refilled with ink and therefore thrown away when the ink is in the pantry and the reserve room is used up.
  • a fountain pen of the type mentioned is the in Figure 8 GB-A-6570 A.D. Shown in 1915.
  • the fountain pen is unscrewed its tip part filled with ink from the barrel.
  • Shank contains a pantry and a spare room that through a wall in which there is a refill valve, are separated from each other.
  • a separating valve is also provided, through that from the store to the writing tip leading connection channel is closable.
  • the Closing elements of both valves are by a tappet connected to a rotary knob designed as a screw, which is arranged at the rear end of the fountain pen. Is the ink in the storage room is consumed by turning the refill valve is opened and after that when the refill valve reaches its maximum open position reached, the isolating valve closed.
  • a refillable writing instrument is known from US Pat. No. 2,646,777 known, in which the storage room on the pen opposite end is provided with a piston pump, through a suction pipe protruding from the storage room can be actuated.
  • this will be Suction tube immersed in an ink tank and by opening and closing Moving down the writing instrument actuated the piston pump.
  • the disadvantage here is that when refilling the increasing pressure in the ink regulator in the storage room Ink emerges from the writing tip, so that the Outside of the writing instrument and the operator's fingers can be stained with ink. It can also be easy to overfill the pantry and ink chambers come in the ink regulator, causing the typeface gets messy when writing.
  • the handling of the known writing instrument cumbersome and the suction pipe protruding from the storage room does that Arrangement of an additional protective sleeve required.
  • the CH-A-255 993 is a refill container known as remove it to the storage room with the help of a filling pipe a fountain pen can be connected to this again with Fill writing fluid.
  • the filling tube is against that Force of a spring axially movable in front of through a valve plate sealed container opening attached by which leads a hose to the bottom of the container.
  • the valve plate is in the refill opening of the Fountain pen.
  • the writing instrument with its Refill opening placed on the filling pipe and after pressed against the refill container below, the filling tube penetrates both valve plates and thereby the Connects the hose to the fountain pen.
  • the liquid Due to the excess pressure generated in the refill container the liquid is transferred to the outside air pressure Hose and the filling pipe in the reservoir of the fountain pen pressed, the air in it over the ventilation channel at the tip of the fountain pen escapes. After filling, the fountain pen is removed from the filling tube deducted, the openings in the valve plate close again automatically.
  • the invention has for its object a writing instrument the type mentioned in such a way that it repeats filled with ink or writing fluid can, without overfilling is possible and that it is Do not refill the reservoir to excessive ink supply can come at the top of the order.
  • the writing instrument is again with Spare space to be filled with ink through the refill valve or the isolating valve always from the writing tip and the flow regulator Cut.
  • the writing instrument can therefore Refill only take up as much ink as the reserve and possibly also the storage room. An overfilling with the result that ink on the Pen tip is not possible. same for when refilling ink from the reserve room into the storage room, since the connection channel before opening the refill valve to the writing tip through the isolating valve closed and only after the refill valve is closed is opened again.
  • a simple remedy can consist, for example, that the closure element of the Refill valve is designed as a piston in the The closed position of the refill valve is axially movable.
  • the actuation of the two valves can be carried out after another Proposed the invention in a simple manner by that the closure elements of the refill valve and Isolation valve are attached to a plunger, the Closing path of the isolation valve is smaller than that Way to open the refill valve.
  • the closure element the isolation valve and / or the refill valve be axially movable relative to the tappet, so differences between the closing path of the respective closure element and the actuation path of the ram balanced will.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the closure element of the isolation valve from an elastic deformable hose is formed on the closure element the refill valve is attached and with his free end to a valve seat at the inlet end of the connecting channel is pressable.
  • This configuration of the Isolation valve is mainly characterized by a low Manufacturing and assembly costs and due to a low susceptibility to wear out.
  • Refill valve and / or the isolation valve a valve seat with a seat formed by a cylindrical bore has, in which the closure element can be inserted and is of such a length that the closure element is limited axially movable in its closed position.
  • the ink flow through the open refill valve and / or the open isolating valve can, according to another proposal the invention can be improved in that the Ribs extending in the flow direction border, which counteract the surface tension and sticking of individual drops in the area of the passage opening of the valve.
