Definitions
- the invention relates to a housing, in particular for a hydraulic delivery device made of cast iron, with areas which can be pressurized and / or sealed.
- housings are known.
- machine components are designed as castings, for example as die-cast parts, since they can be implemented in a simple manner with a relatively complicated shape.
- the housings are produced by a die-casting process, although the invention is not limited to die-cast housings, since these can also be produced, for example, by a generally known gravity casting.
- Housings for hydraulic conveyors, for example for vane pumps are made of die-cast aluminum, among other things. Through the Using die-cast aluminum, it is possible to manufacture the housing in a lightweight construction.
- the housings are composed of a plurality of housing parts which have corresponding recesses which result in the pressure chamber. This pressure chamber is connected via a connection, for example to the pressure side of the vane pump, so that a pressure emanating from the medium to be conveyed also builds up in the pressure chamber.
- channels in the housings of hydraulic delivery devices, which channels are designed to guide the fluid delivered by the device. These channels are flowed through by the fluids, some of which have a high kinetic energy, so that, in particular on curved sections of the channels, the fluid erodes the channel wall due to the fluid.
- special parts made of materials with high erosion resistance for example deflection plugs made of brass, which are pressed into the housing, for example, are installed in the curvature sections of the channels. This requires additional effort in the manufacture of vane pumps of this type.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a housing of the generic type in which the disadvantages mentioned above are avoided.
- the pressure chamber is formed simultaneously with the casting of the housing, it is advantageously possible to simply insert it without the housing having to be assembled from several individual housing parts to form the pressure chamber. At the same time, by pouring the pressure chamber into the housing, it can have any geometrical shape, so that the effect of the pressure fields emanating from this pressure chamber can be optimized.
- the pressure room can be designed, for example, in such a way that it has different clear widths, that is to say, for example, it has widenings or the like, so that the pressure fields radiating from the pressure chamber into the housing can be influenced in a targeted manner.
- the pressure fields can be set in their main direction of action, so that a higher back pressure can be built up in particularly critical areas than in less critical areas.
- the housing can be constructed from fewer parts as a result of the cast-in pressure fields, so that additional sealing problems between the joints of individual housing parts are avoided.
- a housing is preferred in which the pressure chamber is formed by at least one core which is introduced into the casting mold and at least partially remains in the housing after casting. This makes it possible to influence a special design and effect of the pressure chamber by introducing a core, which is known per se, into a casting mold which results in the later housing. In particular, by at least a part of the core remaining in the housing, the pressure fields generated by the pressure chamber can be influenced in a targeted manner via a material selection of the core and / or a very special shape of the core.
- the different material combinations can be used, possibly taking into account a different elastic Behavior under pressure and / or a different thermal expansion behavior, the effect of a pressure field emanating from the pressure chamber can be strengthened or weakened.
- a housing is preferred in which the core consists of a solid, porous, high-strength material, preferably of aluminum oxide (Al2O3).
- Al2O3 aluminum oxide
- the die-cast material thus lies around the core in a virtually form-fitting and non-positive manner and forms a firm, highly resilient bond.
- a medium under pressure can be introduced into the inner pores of the core remaining in the housing during the intended use of the housing, so that it can be distributed over the pores of the porous material.
- Such a core is suitable for building up very effective pressure fields which deflect the regions of the housing located in the immediate vicinity of the core.
- a wall thickness of the housing between the pressurized area and the counter pressure Pressure space can thus be chosen to be relatively small, so that the effectiveness of the pressure space increases. Due to the relatively small wall thickness of the housing mentioned, a damping behavior of the housing, for the deflection of the housing section, cannot substantially influence the structure of the pressure fields which cause the counterforce.
- the core is formed in two parts and consists of an inner part and an outer part surrounding the inner part. It can preferably be provided that both the inner part and the outer part of the core remain in the housing and form the pressure space.
- the inner part of the core can preferably be made of a high-strength porous material, for example aluminum oxide, so that it takes over the support of the outer part of the core during die casting of the housing on the one hand and on the other hand takes over the construction of the pressure fields already mentioned during the intended use of the housing .
- a high-strength porous material for example aluminum oxide
- a housing in which the core which gives the pressure chamber has only one outer Shell-formed part remains in the housing, while the inner part is designed as a filling and is removed after the casting process is complete.
- the pressure chamber can thus be acted upon directly by the medium to be conveyed, so that it can discharge the pressure to the shell of the core, which then builds up the pressure field within the housing.
- the shell can consist of a high-strength, dimensionally stable material, so that due to its stiffness, it serves alone as a support element for the area of the housing that is pressurized by the medium to be conveyed, thus preventing a deflection of this area.
- the pressure built up within the pressure chamber thus forms an additional pressure field, so that the arrangement made here counteracts a deflection of a wall region of the housing in a particularly effective manner.
- the wall area - in all of the above-mentioned configurations of the housing - is formed, for example, by rotor side surfaces of a pump chamber serving to receive a vane cell rotor of a vane cell pump, these rotor side surfaces can be pressed against the rotor in a sealing manner.
- a deflection of these rotor side surfaces can be countered particularly effectively by the inventive design of the pressure chambers, so that a Leakage between the pressure and suction spaces of the pump chamber of the vane rotor can be significantly minimized.
- the efficiency of the entire hydraulic delivery device, here designed as a vane pump can thus be increased.
- the object is further achieved by the features specified in claim 16.
- the channels designed for guiding the medium conveyed by the hydraulic conveying device are formed by cores which at least partially remain in the housing after casting the housing, these preferably being formed in two parts and consisting of an inner part and an inner part surrounding the inner part Housing remaining outer part, it is possible to design the channels so that they have an optimal surface for the flow.
- the two-part design of the core ensures that the core can be equipped with the necessary strength on the one hand, which is resistant to radiation erosion that occurs, in particular when the housing is die-cast, and on the other hand the inner part of the core can be removed after the casting, so that there is a desired cavity resulting in the channels.
- the outer part is formed by a hollow body, into which a filling is introduced during the casting of the housing, which is preferably produced by a counterpressure during the casting, the medium supporting the hollow body is formed.
- the filling is removed from the core after the casting, so that the hollow body, which is cast in a form-fitting manner in the casting, remains in the casting and thus no damage to the casting can occur due to the removal of the filling.
- the surface of the resulting channels is thus determined exclusively by the inner surface of the hollow body remaining in the housing. After removal of the filling, the interior of the hollow body thus results in the desired cavity (channels) in the housing. Since no radiation erosion acts on the inner wall of the hollow body during die casting, it has a very smooth surface, which can be predetermined by the choice of material of the hollow body, so that no loss of effectiveness can occur when the medium to be conveyed flows later through the channels.
- the core is formed by a hollow body which can be firmly closed with at least one cover. It is thus easily possible to introduce the filling which creates the pressure equilibrium during the casting into the open hollow body and then to close it firmly with the lid. After the casting process has ended, the lid can be drilled in a simple manner, for example to remove the introduced filling.
- the core it is also conceivable for the core to be prefabricated as a hollow body provided with an introduced filling, which is placed at a corresponding point in the casting mold which will later result in the housing.
- the hollow body which is closed on all sides, can be opened, for example drilled, at a selectable, predetermined point after the casting process has ended, so that the filling can be removed from the hollow body.
- any desired geometric shape to the channel to be formed, for example an arcuate course and / or a cross-section which changes over the longitudinal extent of the channel.
- Via the choice of the geometry of the core, in particular the geometry of the interior of the hollow body it is thus possible in a simple manner to create guide channels for the medium to be conveyed which are resistant to erosion, for example in the case of a vane pump of oil.
- This radiation-erosion-resistant design relates, on the one hand, to a steadfastness during a die-casting process against radiation erosion, due to the fact that under very high pressure into the shape that will result in the subsequent housing casting material to be introduced and, on the other hand, to a radiation erosion-resistant design with respect to the media flowing in the channels, in part with a high kinetic energy.
- curved channels can also be introduced into the housing without additional parts having high erosion resistance, such as deflection plugs, having to be provided in the curved areas of the channels.
- the filling which can be introduced into the hollow body is preferably selected such that it can, on the one hand, oppose the casting pressure which arises during casting a sufficient counterpressure to support the hollow body and, on the other hand, can be easily removed from the hollow body after opening.
- Suitable for this purpose are, for example, oils, waxes, gases, low-melting metals which have a lower melting point than the housing material and, if the hollow body is of correspondingly dimensionally stable design, air, so that there is virtually no filling in the hollow body.
- a casting mold 10 is shown schematically in FIG. 1, which is closed with a cover 14 having an opening 12.
- the casting mold 10 is worked out in accordance with the shape of the later molding (housing of a vane pump).
- At least one core 16 is arranged in the casting mold 10 and is fixed to the casting mold 10 in a suitable manner known per se.
- the core 16 has a shell 18 which surrounds a cavity 20.
- the cavity 20 is provided with a filling 22.
- the core 16 can, for example, be constructed in such a way that the shell 18 is made of steel and a filling 22 of sand, oil, paraffin, gas, wax or has similar.
- the shell 18 is tightly closed, so that the filling 22 cannot emerge from the cavity 20.
- the closure can be carried out, for example, by welding, or the shell 18 is constructed in such a way that it has, for example, a firmly closable cover on its side facing the casting mold 10. It is furthermore conceivable that it is connected to a cooling system by means of the mold 10 in the case of a filling 22 made of oil via channels (not shown here).
- a liquid metal or a liquid alloy is introduced into the casting mold 10 under high pressure, for example up to 1400 bar, via the opening 12.
- the liquid metal introduced for example aluminum
- the filling 22 provided in the cavity 20 now prevents the shell 18 from being pressed in under the casting pressure and thus produces a pressure equilibrium. Even if radiation erosion occurs on the outer surface of the shell 18, the inner surface of the shell 18 remains intact in any case. Further details of the casting process, such as, for example, venting, cooling, etc., are not to be dealt with here, since they are not relevant to the invention.
- the molding can be removed from the casting mold 10, the core 16 then being in the molding.
- the filling 22 can now be removed from the shell 18. Since the filling 22 has no dimensional rigidity, it can be removed from the cavity 20 very easily.
- the shell 18 now remains in the molding and is positively connected to the material of the molding.
- any shape of a cavity 20 can be realized in a casting. This need not necessarily be - as shown in Figure 1 - a cylindrical shape.
- a plurality of cores 16 in any shape can be arranged within a casting mold 10.
- the cores can also be cast in as a ring segment (tubular part) with sealed ends.
- the ring segment is so massive that the pressure forces occurring during the casting process can be absorbed.
- the ends of the ring segment can be drilled, so that the interior of the tube part is then available as a cavity.
- the cores 16 can also be designed in such a way that they have a shell 18 made of high-strength and erosion-resistant material, which have the necessary stiffness even without the introduction of a filling 22, so that pressure compensation by introducing the filling 22 can be dispensed with.
- this casting technique can be used to produce die-cast parts with very high strength, which have precisely fixed cavities and / or through openings with an extremely smooth surface. Since subsequent processing of the walls of the cavities, which is very difficult anyway, is eliminated, these die-cast parts can be produced very economically and, moreover, have improved properties. These come into play particularly when the cavities thus produced in die-cast parts are intended to be used to flow through, for example, liquid media - or pressure spaces - as will be explained in detail later.
- FIG. 2 shows a first application of the casting technique described in FIG. 1.
- a vane pump 24 is shown in section, which is used, for example, as a power steering pump in motor vehicles. A detailed structure and the mode of operation of the vane pump 24 will not be discussed in more detail here, since this is generally known to the person skilled in the art.
- the vane pump 24 has a housing 26, which is designed as an aluminum die-cast part - in accordance with the casting technique addressed in principle to FIG. 1.
- the housing 26 receives a drive shaft 28 mounted in a known manner, on the a vane rotor 30 is rotatably mounted.
- the rotor 30 has vanes 34 which are displaceably mounted in radial slots 32.
- the rotor 30 is arranged within a contour ring 36 which is connected to the housing 26 in a rotationally fixed manner.
- the vanes 34 are guided along an inner contour 38 which is oval in shape.
- the blades 34 are moved radially out of the rotor 30 or radially into the rotor 30 in accordance with the contour development.
- the vanes 34 form individual spatial sections between the rotor 30 and the contour ring 36 between two vanes 34, the volumes of which increase and decrease during the rotation of the rotor 30. In this way, a negative pressure is created on the one hand within the spaces separated from the wings 34 and, on the other hand, an excess pressure occurs when the volumes are reduced.
- the wings 34 are pressed sealingly against the inner contour 38, so that a medium, for example oil, is conveyed from a suction area to a pressure area.
- the oil is conveyed to a consumer, not shown in FIG. 2, connected to the vane pump 24, for example a steering system of a motor vehicle.
- a flow control valve 42 which is only indicated here, is arranged in a channel 40 leading to the consumer.
- the flow control valve 42 is surrounded by an annular space 44 behind a control collar (not shown in FIG. 2), which is connected to a suction area of the vane pump 24 via symmetrically arranged outflow channels (boosters) 46.
- boosts outflow channels
- the rotor 30 is driven, for example, by an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
- the volume flow delivered by the vane pump 24 is made available, for example, to the steering of the motor vehicles.
- the high volume flow provided by the vane pump 24 is often not required.
- the large volume flow provided, but not now required, leads to a shift of the control collar of the flow control valve 42, so that the excess oil is sprayed off from the channel 40 via the annular space 44 into the outflow channels 46.
- This oil which is under high pressure, has a very high kinetic energy, which would lead to erosion on the walls of the outflow channels 46 or the annular space 44.
- the outflow channels 46 and the annular space 44 have the shell 18 of the former core 16 remaining in the housing 26 during die-casting.
- the shell 18 consists of a high-strength material and has an inner wall on it smooth surface not influenced by the die casting of the housing 26.
- the outflow channels 46 and the annular space 44 are distinguished by a very high erosion resistance.
- the casting technique already mentioned also makes it possible to design the outflow channels 46 in a flow-favorable form.
- outflow channels 46 can be designed without complicated machining of the housing such that they have, for example, a circular wall running in different radii and / or can have an expanding cross-sectional area.
- FIG. 2 it is indicated that the outflow channels 46 have an expanding cross section in the direction of the suction space of the vane pump 24, so that it is ensured that the outflowing oil does not experience a backflow, for example.
- a vane pump 24 is shown in a further exemplary embodiment in FIG.
- the same parts as in FIG. 2 are provided with the same reference numerals, despite a partially different structure, and are not explained again here.
- the housing 26 has a recess 48, within which the rotor 30 mounted on the drive shaft 28 is arranged.
- the drive shaft 28 is guided in a bearing 50 and counter bearing 52 a bearing.
- the bearing point 52 is located in a housing part 54 designed as a cover, which is connected to the housing 26 in a suitable manner, for example screwed, so that the recess 48 is sealed to the outside. Seals which are not to be explained are arranged for this purpose.
- a channel 58 leads from a high-pressure outlet 56 to a consumer (not shown).
- a duct 60 leading to the flow control valve 42 branches off from the duct 58.
- the flow control valve 42 has a valve piston 64 that is axially displaceable against the force of a spring element 62.
- a control collar 66 of the valve piston 64 seals an outflow channel 46 from the channel 60.
- the outflow channel 46 opens into a suction area 68 of the vane pump 24.
- the vanes 34 of the rotor 30 are moved during the operation of the vane pump 24 along the contour ring 36, so that the medium to be pumped, for example oil, is sucked out of the suction region 68 and pumped away at the high pressure outlet 56. If the pressure in the channels 58 or 60 connected to the high-pressure outlet 56 exceeds a certain value, for example because a connected consumer is working at idle, the valve piston 64 of the flow control valve 42 is displaced against the force of the spring element 62, so that a connection between the channel 60 and the outflow channel 46 becomes free. As a result, the oil flows back into the suction area 68 of the vane pump 24 with high kinetic energy. This creates a short-circuit for the vane pump 24 in a known manner.
- the individual channels 58, 60 and 46 can have the structure mentioned in the previous figures, a shell 18 of a casting core remaining in the housing 26 not being shown in detail in FIG. 3.
- the housing part 54 has a recess 70 which is also connected to the via a connecting channel 72 High-pressure side of the vane pump 24 is connected.
- the recess 70 is designed such that a cavity 74 is formed opposite the rotor 30.
- the recess 70 or the connecting channel 72 are cast into the housing part 54, wherein the options for the configuration of the cavity 74 which have already been explained in detail in FIG. 1 can be used.
- the vanes 34 of the rotor 30 lie with their side edges on the housing part 54 in a sealing manner.
- the housing part 54 thus simultaneously serves as a lateral guide or running surface for the vanes 34.
- the end face 76 of the housing part 54 adjoining the rotor 30 thus has to take over a seal between adjacent spatial sections formed by the vanes 34 in addition to guiding the vanes 34. Any leakage occurring between adjacent room sections leads to a loss of effectiveness of the entire vane pump 24, since the pressure build-up in the high-pressure outlet 56 is influenced.
- the cavity 74 arranged essentially parallel to the end face 76 is provided.
- the cavity 74 prevails through the connection to the high-pressure area of the vane pump 24, the same pressure as, for example, in the channel 60.
- This pressure prevailing in the cavity 74 acts, inter alia, on the face 78 of the cavity 74 facing the face 76.
- a pressure field is created which acts in the direction of the rotor 30.
- This pressure field acting from the cavity 74 in the direction of the rotor 30 thus acts as a counter pressure field to the high pressure acting within the rotor 30 between certain vanes 34 (depending on the position of the vanes 34).
- the area 80 is kept in pressure equilibrium so that it cannot deflect and the wings 34 of the rotor 30 are guided with their side faces sealingly on the end face 76 in every operating situation. The occurrence of leakage between adjacent spatial sections formed by two wings 34 is thus avoided.
- the sealing contact of the wings 34 with their side faces at the region 80 can be influenced.
- the end face 78 which, viewed in plan view, runs essentially circular, is designed as a lateral surface of a cone.
- the end face 78 - im runs from a point lying in the area of an axis of rotation 82 of the rotor 30 Section viewed - tapering to the outside. This makes it possible to direct the pressure field acting in the direction of the rotor 30 and emanating from the cavity 74 to the areas of the end face 76 in which a particularly high pressure load occurs from the side of the rotor 30.
- the configuration option of the cavity 74 shown in FIG. 3 is only an example. Contours are thus possible which, for example, have individual recesses, which extend from the cavity 74 and point in the direction of the rotor 30 and are arranged within the region 80. Via these recesses, not shown in FIG. 3, it is possible to influence the pressure field acting in the direction of the end face 76 in a targeted manner. The lateral sealing of the rotor 30 can thus be improved considerably.
- cores which has already been explained in detail in FIG. 1, the formation of the cavity 74 in any desired contour within the housing part 54 is possible without complex reworking or subsequent introduction of bores or the like.
- FIG. 2 Another vane pump 24 is shown in FIG.
- the representation is only partially and schematically, the same parts as in FIGS. 2 and 3 being provided with the same reference numerals despite a partially different structure.
- the housing 26 has an axially extending recess 84, within which the drive shaft 28 is guided is.
- a drive means 86 is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on the drive shaft 28 and can be driven, for example, by an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
- the pump housing part 88 indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 4, there is a recess 90 within which the contour ring 36 is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner.
- the rotor 30 driven by the drive shaft 28 is arranged within the contour ring 36.
- the wings 34 are moved along the contour ring 36.
- the recess 36 is delimited on its side facing away from the drive shaft 28 by a pressure plate 92.
- the wings 34 of the rotor 30 are arranged between the housing 26 and the pressure plate 92 so that they are sealingly guided with their side surfaces.
- the rotor 30 itself is arranged in a pump chamber 94, which has at least one pressure chamber 96 and one suction chamber 98 in a known manner.
- the pressure chamber 96 has a high-pressure outlet 100 which penetrates the pressure plate 92 and - not shown in FIG. 4 - leads to a consumer and possibly to a flow control valve.
- Arranged within the housing 26 is an approximately annular cavity 102 which surrounds the recess 84 receiving the drive shaft 86.
- the cavity 102 is connected via a connection 104 to the high-pressure outlet 100 within the housing part 88 (not shown in FIG. 4).
- the pressure emanating from the medium to be pumped thus also lies in the cavity via the connection 104 102 on.
- a pressure field originating from the cavity 104 thus builds up within the housing 26.
- This field inter alia acts in the direction indicated by the arrows 106 in FIG. 4.
- the pressure field acts substantially uniformly in all directions around the cavity 102.
- the direction of the pressure field indicated by the arrows 106 applies a pressure to a wall area 108 between the cavity 102 and the pump chamber 94, which pressure acts against one is directed from the pump chamber 94 pressure.
- the pressure present in the high-pressure region of the pump chamber 94 and the cavity 102 is essentially the same, the pressure fields lying opposite one another in the wall region 108 cancel each other out. Deflection of the wall region 108, in particular in a transition region to the recess 84 receiving the bearing shaft 28, is thus prevented. At the same time, it is ensured that the wings 34 always lie sealingly against the wall area 108 of the housing 26 with their side surface on the drive shaft side. As already mentioned, leakage between successive spaces within the pump space 94, each enclosed by two vanes 34, is thus avoided.
- the cavity 102 is cast into the housing 26 at the same time as the housing 26 is being manufactured, so that additional processing of the housing 26 is not necessary.
- the cavity 102 results from one of the possibilities explained in principle with the aid of FIG. 1.
- the core resulting from the cavity 102 cannot consist of one in FIG shown shell 18 exist, which has a filling 22 during the casting of the housing 26.
- the connection 104 By means of the production of the connection 104, which can be done, for example, by drilling the housing 26, the shell 18 is drilled through, so that the filling 22 can be removed through the opening created in this way, due to its non-existent rigidity, so that the cavity 102 results.
- a partial region 110 of a housing 26 is shown in FIG.
- the partial region 110 is arranged within the housing 26 in such a way that its end face 112 and / or 114 has to perform a sealing function.
- This can be, for example, the sealing guidance of wings 34 with their side edges already explained in FIGS. 3 and 4, or also a joint to another component of the housing 26 or to a component arranged thereon.
- the structure of pressure fields within the housing 26 is to be clarified again in principle.
- a core 16 is placed in the mold.
- the core 16 consists of a solid, porous, high-strength material, for example aluminum oxide Al2O3.
- Al2O3 aluminum oxide
- this encloses the core 16.
- the outer pores of the core 16 form a positive connection with the material of the housing 26.
- indicated holes 116 are placed such that there is a connection between a high pressure area and core 16 results. This can be, for example, the high-pressure outlet 96 mentioned previously in FIG. 4.
- the medium to be conveyed reaches the area of the core 16. Since the core 16 itself is made of a porous material, the medium can be inside the core 16 spread out. The porosity of the core 16 is chosen so that it can absorb the pressurized medium, for example, like a sponge.
- the pressure now also prevailing within the core 16 causes a pressure field to be built up, which is to be illustrated in FIG. 5 with the arrows 118. The material of the housing 26 surrounding the core 16 is deflected away from the core 16 by this pressure field 118. As a result, the partial region 110 of the housing 26 shown in FIG.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a housing, in particular for a hydraulic delivery device made of cast iron, with areas which can be pressurized and / or sealed.
Such housings are known. For example, machine components are designed as castings, for example as die-cast parts, since they can be implemented in a simple manner with a relatively complicated shape. In the following, it is assumed within the scope of the description that the housings are produced by a die-casting process, although the invention is not limited to die-cast housings, since these can also be produced, for example, by a generally known gravity casting. Housings for hydraulic conveyors, for example for vane pumps, are made of die-cast aluminum, among other things. Through the Using die-cast aluminum, it is possible to manufacture the housing in a lightweight construction. When using aluminum for the casing of vane pumps, however, it should be noted that very high pressures, for example oil, occur in the medium to be pumped during the intended use of the vane pump. These high pressures act on the housing parts and can thereby deform or deflect them at least in some areas. If these housing parts form, for example, boundary surfaces for a displacement unit, for example the vane rotor of the vane pump, they simultaneously represent the rotor side surfaces of the vane rotor. These form a separation area between at least one pressure chamber and at least one suction chamber, which seals them off from one another. If there is a deflection of these rotor side surfaces due to high pressures, there can be an increased leakage between the pressure and the suction space of the vane pump, which impairs their efficiency. In order to counteract the deflection of the rotor side surface, it is known to assign a pressure space exerting a counter pressure in the housing at a distance from the latter. To form these pressure chambers, the housings are composed of a plurality of housing parts which have corresponding recesses which result in the pressure chamber. This pressure chamber is connected via a connection, for example to the pressure side of the vane pump, so that a pressure emanating from the medium to be conveyed also builds up in the pressure chamber. This pressure works now counteracts the pressure emanating from the other side of the wall area of the housing between the pressure chamber and the delivery chamber and thus prevents the rotor side surfaces from being deformed or deflected. However, it is disadvantageous here that the pressure chambers causing the counterpressure can only be produced in a very complex manner and additional joints to be sealed are created by the assembly of several housing parts, which can lead to additional leakage losses.
Furthermore, it is known to introduce channels in the housings of hydraulic delivery devices, which channels are designed to guide the fluid delivered by the device. These channels are flowed through by the fluids, some of which have a high kinetic energy, so that, in particular on curved sections of the channels, the fluid erodes the channel wall due to the fluid. To counter this, special parts made of materials with high erosion resistance, for example deflection plugs made of brass, which are pressed into the housing, for example, are installed in the curvature sections of the channels. This requires additional effort in the manufacture of vane pumps of this type.
On the other hand, it is known to simultaneously provide the channels during the die-casting of the housing by introducing cores into a die-casting mold which are removed after the die-casting process and thus then give the channels. There To achieve a high strength of the cast parts during the die casting process in the die, very high pressures, for example of 1400 bar, are necessary and the casting material enters the mold at a high flow rate of, for example, 50 m / s, the cores are subject to high stress, which can lead to radiation erosion on the core surface. However, since the cavities that result after removal of the cores are to be used to flow through, for example, liquid media, a particularly smooth surface is important so that no unnecessary losses in effectiveness can occur. However, the "fraying" of the cores that occurs during the die-casting process leads to unevenness on the wall of the cast-in channels.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a housing of the generic type in which the disadvantages mentioned above are avoided.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features mentioned in claim 1. Characterized in that the pressure chamber is formed simultaneously with the casting of the housing, it is advantageously possible to simply insert it without the housing having to be assembled from several individual housing parts to form the pressure chamber. At the same time, by pouring the pressure chamber into the housing, it can have any geometrical shape, so that the effect of the pressure fields emanating from this pressure chamber can be optimized. The pressure room can be designed, for example, in such a way that it has different clear widths, that is to say, for example, it has widenings or the like, so that the pressure fields radiating from the pressure chamber into the housing can be influenced in a targeted manner. For example, the pressure fields can be set in their main direction of action, so that a higher back pressure can be built up in particularly critical areas than in less critical areas. Another important advantage is that the housing can be constructed from fewer parts as a result of the cast-in pressure fields, so that additional sealing problems between the joints of individual housing parts are avoided.
A housing is preferred in which the pressure chamber is formed by at least one core which is introduced into the casting mold and at least partially remains in the housing after casting. Insofar as the core remaining in the housing is made of a different material than the housing, the different material combinations can be used, possibly taking into account a different elastic Behavior under pressure and / or a different thermal expansion behavior, the effect of a pressure field emanating from the pressure chamber can be strengthened or weakened.
Furthermore, a housing is preferred in which the core consists of a solid, porous, high-strength material, preferably of aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃). This makes it possible to design the core so that during the casting process, for example a die casting process of the housing, no die casting material can penetrate into the inner pores of the core. The die-cast material thus lies around the core in a virtually form-fitting and non-positive manner and forms a firm, highly resilient bond. A medium under pressure can be introduced into the inner pores of the core remaining in the housing during the intended use of the housing, so that it can be distributed over the pores of the porous material. Such a core is suitable for building up very effective pressure fields which deflect the regions of the housing located in the immediate vicinity of the core. Because the core with its porous material remains in the housing, the space enclosed by the core in the housing does not form an immediate fault for the housing itself, so that a pressure chamber constructed in this way is in the immediate vicinity of the pressure that can be supplied by the medium to be conveyed Area of the housing can be arranged. A wall thickness of the housing between the pressurized area and the counter pressure Pressure space can thus be chosen to be relatively small, so that the effectiveness of the pressure space increases. Due to the relatively small wall thickness of the housing mentioned, a damping behavior of the housing, for the deflection of the housing section, cannot substantially influence the structure of the pressure fields which cause the counterforce.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention it is further provided that the core is formed in two parts and consists of an inner part and an outer part surrounding the inner part. It can preferably be provided that both the inner part and the outer part of the core remain in the housing and form the pressure space. By dividing the core into two parts, it is advantageously possible to design the outer part of the core in such a way that it has the necessary strength that withstands radiation erosion of the die-casting material that occurs during die-casting, so that the core, once modulated, maintains its shape during the die-casting process maintains exactly. The inner part of the core can preferably be made of a high-strength porous material, for example aluminum oxide, so that it takes over the support of the outer part of the core during die casting of the housing on the one hand and on the other hand takes over the construction of the pressure fields already mentioned during the intended use of the housing .
Also preferred is a housing in which the core which gives the pressure chamber has only one outer Shell-formed part remains in the housing, while the inner part is designed as a filling and is removed after the casting process is complete. This makes it possible to design the pressure chamber in such a way that it is formed by a shell which is arranged in a cavity of the housing and in turn has a cavity and bears in a form-fitting manner on the housing. The pressure chamber can thus be acted upon directly by the medium to be conveyed, so that it can discharge the pressure to the shell of the core, which then builds up the pressure field within the housing. The shell can consist of a high-strength, dimensionally stable material, so that due to its stiffness, it serves alone as a support element for the area of the housing that is pressurized by the medium to be conveyed, thus preventing a deflection of this area. The pressure built up within the pressure chamber thus forms an additional pressure field, so that the arrangement made here counteracts a deflection of a wall region of the housing in a particularly effective manner.
In particular if the wall area - in all of the above-mentioned configurations of the housing - is formed, for example, by rotor side surfaces of a pump chamber serving to receive a vane cell rotor of a vane cell pump, these rotor side surfaces can be pressed against the rotor in a sealing manner. A deflection of these rotor side surfaces can be countered particularly effectively by the inventive design of the pressure chambers, so that a Leakage between the pressure and suction spaces of the pump chamber of the vane rotor can be significantly minimized. The efficiency of the entire hydraulic delivery device, here designed as a vane pump, can thus be increased.
According to the invention the object is further achieved by the features specified in
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the outer part is formed by a hollow body, into which a filling is introduced during the casting of the housing, which is preferably produced by a counterpressure during the casting, the medium supporting the hollow body is formed. This makes it very advantageous that a material can be used for the hollow body that is resistant to the jet erosion of the casting material that occurs during casting and at the same time that the high pressures that occur during casting are intercepted by the media filled into the hollow body. The hollow bodies of the erosion-resistant material which give the channels their shape are thus supported against the casting pressure by the inner part of the core, so that a pressure equilibrium is established within the entire core. It is also advantageous here that the filling is removed from the core after the casting, so that the hollow body, which is cast in a form-fitting manner in the casting, remains in the casting and thus no damage to the casting can occur due to the removal of the filling. The surface of the resulting channels is thus determined exclusively by the inner surface of the hollow body remaining in the housing.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the core is formed by a hollow body which can be firmly closed with at least one cover. It is thus easily possible to introduce the filling which creates the pressure equilibrium during the casting into the open hollow body and then to close it firmly with the lid. After the casting process has ended, the lid can be drilled in a simple manner, for example to remove the introduced filling. However, it is also conceivable for the core to be prefabricated as a hollow body provided with an introduced filling, which is placed at a corresponding point in the casting mold which will later result in the housing. The hollow body, which is closed on all sides, can be opened, for example drilled, at a selectable, predetermined point after the casting process has ended, so that the filling can be removed from the hollow body. Overall, it is thus possible to assign any desired geometric shape to the channel to be formed, for example an arcuate course and / or a cross-section which changes over the longitudinal extent of the channel. Via the choice of the geometry of the core, in particular the geometry of the interior of the hollow body, it is thus possible in a simple manner to create guide channels for the medium to be conveyed which are resistant to erosion, for example in the case of a vane pump of oil. This radiation-erosion-resistant design relates, on the one hand, to a steadfastness during a die-casting process against radiation erosion, due to the fact that under very high pressure into the shape that will result in the subsequent housing casting material to be introduced and, on the other hand, to a radiation erosion-resistant design with respect to the media flowing in the channels, in part with a high kinetic energy. Thus, above all, curved channels can also be introduced into the housing without additional parts having high erosion resistance, such as deflection plugs, having to be provided in the curved areas of the channels.
The filling which can be introduced into the hollow body is preferably selected such that it can, on the one hand, oppose the casting pressure which arises during casting a sufficient counterpressure to support the hollow body and, on the other hand, can be easily removed from the hollow body after opening. Suitable for this purpose are, for example, oils, waxes, gases, low-melting metals which have a lower melting point than the housing material and, if the hollow body is of correspondingly dimensionally stable design, air, so that there is virtually no filling in the hollow body.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the other features mentioned in the subclaims.

A casting
During casting - furthermore, die casting is always assumed, although gravity casting is also possible - a liquid metal or a liquid alloy is introduced into the casting
After a cooling time, the molding can be removed from the casting
Only the basic principle is to be clarified on the basis of FIG. So it is of course possible that a plurality of
The
During operation of the
Due to the design of channels in die-cast parts, which has already been explained in FIG. 1, the
The
The
During operation of the
In order to counteract this leakage, the
Due to a special configuration of the
Another
The
During operation of the
On the basis of the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, it becomes clear that areas which improve the efficiency of the hydraulic conveying devices can also be cast into the casing during the manufacture of the
