Abstract

The venetian blind (3) having a plurality of shutter-forming slats (7) and an end rail (63) is guided in lateral vertical guides (5) in a window opening. In each vertical guide (5), a sliding body (35) is guided, suspended on a pulling-up strip (11), with a pivot lever (37). When the shutter is lowered and pulled up, the pivot lever (37) bears on the driver (41) at the end of the pulling-up strip (11). If the end rail (63) meets with an obstacle or if the end rail (63) is raised in unauthorised fashion, then the end rail (63) is lifted in the sliding body (35) and, at the same time, the driver (41) is released from the pulling-up strip (11), and the pivot lever (37) is pivoted by the end-rail carrier (61) such that it catches in the vertical guide (5). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a Roman blind with a plurality, slats forming a curtain according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a slat blind is known from DE-A1-3037701. In this known slat blind, the lowest slat is pivotally and displaceably connected over a small stroke to a carriage which is slidably mounted in the lateral vertical guide. The carriage is arranged at the end at the end of the lowermost slat and also carries a pivotable lever which is held in a raised position by the elevator belts when lowering and lifting the blind and which can be pivoted into a clamping position by lifting the lowermost slat, such that that the further raising of the lowest slat is impossible. There is therefore a high-shock protection that makes access to rooms more difficult.
However, the known roman blinds have the disadvantage that the high-impact locking device only functions when the elevator belt is slack, for example if there is resistance to the lowest slat or end rail during lowering, for example if the slat jams in one of the side guides or if it is on the ledge Window opening an obstacle that prevents the slat curtain from lowering further. Damage to the elevator means can nevertheless occur, because these are moved further down and compressed by the drive.
DE-A1 40 02 571 discloses a device on an external venetian blind for automatically locking the lower rail. A pawl pivotable about a bolt is pivotally mounted in the guide rail and can be held in the locking position by a locking body which can be lowered by the elevator shaft. The locking point is located on the lower edge of the guide rail. The venetian blind can therefore only be locked when it is fully lowered. Securing against raising the venetian blind in an intermediate position is not possible. In addition, the external venetian blind is not protected against damage if it encounters an obstacle or if the end rail is jammed in the side guides.
From the EP-A3 0 127 749 known from the European search report, a lift safety device and a Roman blind with a pivotable one-armed ratchet lever are known. This is caulked by lifting the end rail inside the side guide rails and can be unlocked by pulling up the store. In order to obtain a caulking of the locking bolt within the guide rail, the locking bolt has an arcuate-shaped receptacle for the pivot pin. The imprecise pivoting of the ratchet lever can lead to an indefinable position of the lever and thus an inexact control of its function.

The object of the present invention is to create a slat blind, at every point on their path of movement within the window opening is protected against the slats from pushing upwards and which at Impact on an obstacle or by jamming the lowest slat or end rail in the side guides protected from damage becomes.

This task is solved by a slat blind according to the characteristics of claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the slat blind are defined in the dependent claims.

With the design of the slat blind according to the invention, prevent impulses at any altitude and at the same time protect the store from being hit upon an obstacle due to the continued drive in the side Guides are pressed onto the obstacle and thus damaged.

In Figure 1, a window opening 1 is shown schematically with a slat blind 3, which is mounted laterally in vertical guides 5. The curtain 9, consisting of a plurality of slats 7, of the slat blind 3 is connected to an elevator shaft 13 on elevator belts 11. The configuration of the elevator shaft 13 and its drive, which can be done by hand or by an electric motor, is not the subject of this invention and is therefore not explained in detail.
The slats 7 laterally carry guide bolts 15 with a fastening part 17 which is connected to the end of the associated slat 7 and a T-shaped guide part 19, the leg of which is intended to engage in the guide groove 21 in the vertical guides 5. The cross section of the guide groove 21 is shown in FIG. 2. The vertical guides 5 are fastened to the side surfaces 23 of the window opening 1 by screws 6 or other fastening means. To adjust the angle of attack of the slats 7, the adjustment slats 7 connecting the slats 7 are indicated in FIG. 1 with reference number 25. The latter are connected to the elevator shaft 13 so that the position of the slats 7 can be brought from a closed position (approximately vertical) to a shielding position (maximum horizontally).

The vertical guides 5 have a guide slot directed towards the curtain 9 27, on the edges of which inserts 29 are inserted from plastic can be, which on the one hand is an optimal sliding surface for the Form guide pin 15 and on the other hand have a sound-absorbing effect when the Slats 7 are vibrated by wind currents. The inner the vertical guides 5 is substantially mirror-symmetrical to Vertical built up. This allows on both sides of the window opening 1 use the same vertical guides 5. Inside the vertical guides 5 are a first channel 31 for receiving and guiding the Elevator belt 11 and a second channel 33 for receiving a sliding body 35 with a pivot lever 37, which lies around a horizontal Bolt 39 is pivotally mounted. The elevator belt 11 can be made of steel or be made of plastic, the cross section of which is arcuate is formed and has bores 43 in regular sections. Such an elevator belt 11 is, for example, in Swiss Patent No. 674397 described. At the lower end of the elevator belt 11 is a hook-shaped Driver 41 attached. The driver 41 is preferably attached on one or more of the bores 43 by means of a rivet 45, which is expanded, for example, by ultrasonic welding or mechanically has been. Instead of a rivet 45 can of course also kick a screw. The hook-shaped part 47 of the driver 41 protrudes into the second channel 33, in which the sliding body 35 to be led. As an alternative to the hook-shaped part 47, there is also a corresponding one shaped end of the elevator belt 11 possible.

The sliding body 35 in turn has a guide part 49 which is longitudinally guided in the second channel 33. The guide part 49 is provided in its upper region with a continuous opening 51 into which the hook-shaped part 47 of the sliding body 35 can at least partially engage from below.
The bolt 39, which carries the pivot lever 37, is fastened on a nose 53 protruding from the guide part 49, which protrudes into the central part 55 of the vertical guide 5. The pivot lever 37 is preferably mounted in an incision 57 in the nose 53 so that the bolt 39 can be supported on the nose 53 on both sides. It is thereby achieved that the forces acting on the swivel lever 37 when the curtain 9 is raised can be introduced into the sliding body 35 in an evenly distributed manner.
The nose 53 overlaps the slot 27 in the vertical guide 5 and has an incision 59 running parallel to the slot 27. In this incision 59 is the end of an end rail support 61, which projects laterally beyond the end rail 63 and projects through the guide slot 27 into the guide rail 5. The end rail support 61 is loosely suspended in the incision 59 (FIG. 7).

The pivot lever 37 is designed with two arms, such that the shorter one Arm 65 to lie over the incision 59 or over the end rail support 61 comes and the longer arm 67 has a cranked end 69. Below of the bent end 69, the opening 51 in the sliding body 35 be narrowed so that the cranked end 69 on the by the Constriction formed shoulder 70 rests when the pivot lever 37 at Push the end rail into a position approximating the horizontal is pivoted.

In Figure 8, the sliding body 35 is shown again. At the front, the guide part 49 can be seen, which is intended to slide in the first channel 31 of the vertical guide 5. The guide part 49 is essentially cuboid and has the opening 51 for the pivot lever 37 in the middle. The bent end 69 on the long arm 67 lies in the figure on the shoulder 70, which prevents the pivot lever 37 from pivoting downward beyond the blocking position when the end rail 63 is raised.
In addition, the incision 59 for the hook-shaped end 38 of the end rail support 61 is clearly visible in FIG. The short end 65 of the pivoting lever 37 comes to rest over the incision 59 when the latter assumes an essentially horizontal position. When the end rail support 61 is inserted during the assembly of the curtain 9, the short end 65 can dip into the second cut 57 in the nose 53, which is perpendicular to the first cut 59. The nose 53 comes to rest in the vertical guide 5 behind the slot 27.

The mode of operation of the high-impact barrier and obstacle protection is explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 6. The position of the pivot lever 37 in FIG. 5 corresponds to that in FIG. 3.
The mutual position of the individual elements, as shown in FIG. 4, occurs when the lamella curtain 9 is assembled. The hook-shaped driver 41 at the end of the elevator belt 11 is located near the lower end 71 of the guide rail 5. The sliding body 35 lies with his nose 48 on the hook-shaped part 47 of the driver 41. It is therefore carried by the elevator belt 11. The pivoting lever 37, which can be freely pivoted about the bolt 39, is pivoted clockwise by the end rail support 61, which is inserted into the incision 59 on the sliding body 35 from above when the curtain 9 is assembled. As soon as the end rail support 61 has passed the shorter arm 65 of the pivot lever 37, the latter can pivot into the neutral displacement position shown in FIG. The longer arm 67 of the pivot lever 37 lies in this position on the hook-shaped part 47 of the driver 41. The cranked end 69 of the driving lever 37 cannot come into contact with a rib-shaped vertical wall section 73 of the second channel 33 in the guide rail 5.
As soon as it has passed the swivel lever 37, the end rail support 61 is held securely within the incision 59 in the sliding body 35, ie it can no longer slide up or out of the incision 59. So that it cannot be led laterally, ie parallel to the slats 7, out of the sliding body 35, hooks 75 are formed on the two ends 38 of the end rail support 61 (FIG. 7). The hooks 75 come into contact with the bottom 77 of the incision 59 in the lowered position. In the position as shown in FIG. 5, the curtain 9 can be raised or lowered without the pivot lever 37 preventing one of these movements, ie without the cranked end 69 of the pivot lever 37 touching the guide rail 5.

If the Store 3 is completely lowered, i.e. the window opening 1 completely covered, the end rail 63 lies at a small distance to the window ledge 79 and hangs in the adjustment ropes 25. The elevator belt 11 is not influenced by this braking of the end rail 63 and can go further down.

If a person now lifts the end rail 63, the pivot lever 37 is pivoted counterclockwise and is jammed within the guide rail 5. This prevents the curtain 9 from being raised (cf. FIG. 6).
The same situation also occurs if the end rail 63 hits an obstacle, for example a flower pot, when the curtain 9 is lowered. Even then, the end rail support 61 is guided upwards in the incision 59 and thereby pivots the pivot lever 37 in the counterclockwise direction. The elevator belt 11 with the hook-shaped part 47 is not prevented from continuing downwards. This can prevent the drive from being overloaded.

As soon as the obstacle, for example the flower pot, is removed from the displacement path of the end rail 63, it slides downward due to its own weight, pulls the slide 35 with it and thereby releases the jamming of the pivot lever 37.
Alternatively, by reversing the direction of movement of the elevator belt 11 with the hook-shaped part 47 of the driver 41, the swivel lever 37 can be rotated clockwise and the jamming can also be released in this way.
The slat blind 1 is secured in every position against being pushed upwards, since the pivoting lever 37 is pivoted into the locked position at every point by pushing up the end rail 63.
