Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a dispensing device for bags, having a housing in which there is a supply of bags and having at least one gap, which is embodied in one of the walls of the housing and through which the bags can leave the housing.
  • An output device of this type is disclosed, for example, in CH-C 474 232.
  • This dispensing device has a rear wall and from the lateral edges of this rear wall there are support elements for fastening a reserve container for rolled-up plastic bags.
  • a trough-shaped bottom is present in the reserve container, on which the roll of plastic bags lies.
  • the plastic bag 1 can be pulled out through a slot-shaped opening in the reserve container and separated from the rest of the plastic bag at a serrated tear-off edge of the container.
  • This known output device has several disadvantages.
  • the withdrawal of the bags from the supply is unchecked, so that more than one bag is pulled out of the container if the bag web is not pulled carefully enough. After more bags have been pulled out of the container than are used, it is practically impossible with this device to roll the roll back in order to supply the excess bags in the container again.
  • Another disadvantage of this previously known device is that it cannot be installed outdoors.
  • One of these obstacles is the open gap mentioned on the reservoir. This gap cannot be sealed against the ingress of rainwater, for example.
  • the bags are made of plastic. It is known that plastic on smooth and wet surfaces, such as on the surface of a metal Piece, sticks relatively well. For example, rain water in the housing mentioned or in the tub with the bag roll would cause the outside of the bag located in the circumferential area of the roll to remain strongly adhered to the wet surface of the tub. The supply roll would provide irregular resistance when the bags were withdrawn, so that several bags could be pulled out of the container unintentionally, with the disadvantageous consequences described above.
  • the object of the present invention is to remedy these and still further disadvantages of the prior art.
  • FIG. 1 shows the present device in perspective after the upper part thereof has been folded away to the side
  • FIG. 2 shows the device according to FIG. 1 in a side view when it is ready for operation

  • the present output device has a housing 1.
  • This housing 1 is essentially in two parts and comprises an essentially horizontal base plate 2 and an upper part 3.
  • the upper part 3 is assigned to the base plate 2 and is articulated to the base plate 2 by means of a hinge 4.
  • a base 5 is fastened to the underside of the base plate 2.
  • the base 5 is designed as a column, the upper end of which is attached to the base plate 2 by means of a head plate 6.
  • the lower end of the column 5 is designed according to the respective situation.
  • This end part of the column 5 can be smooth if the column 5 is to be sunk in the ground or in a similar manner.
  • This end part of the column 5 can, however, also be provided with a base plate (not shown) if the column 5 is to be screwed together with the base, for example.
  • the upper housing part 3 comprises a container 10 which is open on one side and thus has an opening in this area.
  • This container 10 has four side walls 11, 12, 13 and 14 and a bottom 15.
  • the hinge 4 is connected on the one hand.
  • the other side of the hinge 4 is connected to one of the edges of the base plate 2.
  • the free edge of the opposite side of the container 12 is provided with a material strip 16 which projects obliquely from the container body or container jacket and which is intended to facilitate the opening of the housing 1.
  • the container When ready for operation, the container lies with its mouth on the base plate 2, so that the container jacket covers the contents of the housing 1 like a lid.
  • the inside of the housing 1 is protected against the ingress of water, dirt, etc. by a container casing designed in this way.
  • the container walls 11 to 14 there is an elongated opening 17 to which an output nozzle 20 is assigned.
  • the aforementioned assignment is carried out in such a way that the nozzle 20 covers the opening 17 from the outside or from the inside.
  • the nozzle 20 assigned to the opening 17 as described largely prevents rain water, dirt and other objects from reaching the interior of the housing 1.
  • the nozzle 20 is designed as an independent unit which can be fastened to the wall 11 to 14 of the container 10.
  • the nozzle 20 has a hollow, bowl-shaped cover 21, in the bottom of which an elongated and practically rectilinear opening 22 is made.
  • the edges of this elongated opening 22 run practically parallel to one another and at a distance from one another which is considerably greater than the thickness of an empty bag to be dispensed. This distance is somewhat larger than the thickness of a finger. This allows the first bag to be passed through this opening 22 comfortably after, for example, a new roll with bags has been inserted into the container 10.
  • a brake member 23 is associated with the lid opening 22 of the nozzle 20 in such a way that this member 23 lies on the inside of the lid 21.
  • the braking member 23 comprises two sections or lips 24 and 25 which cooperate when the bags are dispensed.
  • Each of these lips 24 and 25 has practically parallel to each other and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the opening 22 elongated elements, which are held in one version. The other ends of such elements are freely movable.
  • the lips 24 and 25 can be designed like brushes, bristles being the active elements of the lips 24 and 25. One end of the bristle is held in the sockets. The other ends of the bristles protrude from the sockets and act on the bag located between them.
  • the active elements of the lips 24 and 25 can also be designed as strips made of a flexible material, such as rubber or a plastic. Depending on the stiffness of the braking elements and on the magnitude of the force required to tear off the pouch lying in front, the dimensions and / or the number of braking elements in the respective lip 24 and 25 are selected. It is understood that the lips 24 and 25 of a braking member 23 can be designed differently.
  • the lips 24 and 25 of the braking member 23 are arranged so that the sockets on the outside and the free ends of the braking elements are in the middle of the braking member 23.
