The other end of the gearmotor group 14 constituted by the fixed shaft 47 protrudes from the roller / gearmotor assembly by passing through a flange 18 disposed at the end of the roller / gearmotor assembly and mounted integral with the peripheral walls internal of the roller again by means of screws. The other end of the roller / gearmotor group 14 assembly is closed by a plate or flange 17 also mounted integral with the internal peripheral walls of the roller 1 by means of a pin 35 which also passes through a shaft or axis 34 so as to make this axis of the plate 17 integral. This axis projects out of the assembly roller 1 / gearmotor group 14 and comes rest in the bearing 7 fixed on the branch 3 of the support frame of the assembly. This shaft 34 is mounted to rotate freely inside the bearing 7, its rotation being facilitated by a ring 38. The power supply to the geared motor group 14 is done by means of a power cable 13.

Les dimensions et le positionnement du rouleau 1 sont tels que la couverture disparaît sous l'eau lorsqu'elle est entièrement enroulée et que l'extrémité libre de la couverture flotte dès qu'on commence à la dérouler.
