Abstract

The invention relates to a shower-enclosing means having a swing door (5) which can pivot about a vertical pivot axis (4) and has an essentially frameless door leaf (10) consisting of glass or plastic, and having a member (12) which bears the door leaf (10) and, for this purpose, encloses it at one vertical border and extends essentially over the entire height of the door leaf (10). The width of said shower-enclosing means can be adjusted within wide limits, all the fastening parts being concealed hygienically and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. For this purpose, the member (12) is in two parts in cross-section. One part encloses the two load-bearing walls (16), which form a vertical groove (17), and the greater part of an outer casing (15) on one side of a through-passage (14), around the vertical groove (17) and as far as the other side of the vertical groove (17). The other part encloses the smaller part of the outer casing (15) on the other side of the vertical groove (17) as far as the through-passage (14) and is fastened on the load-bearing part (19). Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschabtrennung mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs von Anspruch 1. Eine solche Duschabtrennung kann auch der Abschirmung des Duschbereiches einer Badewanne dienen.The invention relates to a shower partition with the features of the preamble of claim 1. Die bekannte Duschabtrennung, von der die Erfindung ausgeht (DE - U - 90 04 257) ist so konstruiert, daß der im Querschnitt vollkreisförmige Holm oben und unten in einer Schwenklagerplatte gelagert ist, die gemeinsam die Schwenkachse definieren. Die Schwenklagerplatten decken die jeweilige Stirnseite des Holmes ab und sind vertikal über eine als Wandbefestigungsfuß dienende Profilleiste miteinander verbunden. Der Wandbefestigungsfuß trägt eine von oben nach unten durchgehende, am Außenmantel des Holmes abdichtend zur Anlage kommende Lippendichtung bzw. Schnurdichtung. Das im wesentlichen rahmenlose Türblatt ist mit seinem Rand in die im Holm gebildete Vertikalnut eingeführt und darin durch Befestigungsschrauben, und Fixierstifte fixiert. Zur Montage des Türblattes wird dieses in die Vertikalnut des Holmes eingeschoben, auf dem Rand einer Duschwanne justiert und mit Fixierelementen provisorisch fixiert. In dieser Lage müssen dann im Durchmesser relativ große Durchgangsöffnungen, die unmittelbar im Türblatt angeordnet sind, mit jeweils einer Öffnung in den Tragwänden eine Überdeckung aufweisen. Mittels Befestigungsschrauben werden die Tragwände aneinander herangezogen und das Türblatt wird unter Zwischenlage der Dichtung zwischen den Tragwänden verspannt. In Bereichen, in denen weitere Durchgangsöffnungen liegen, sind im Türblatt weitere Durchgangsöffnungen vorgesehen, die aber mit Kunststoffscheiben ausgefüllt sind. Ist das Türblatt lotrecht im Holm ausgerichtet und mittels der Befestigungsschrauben fixiert, so können durch die weiteren Durchgangsöffnungen die-Kunststoffscheiben durchbohrt werden. Hier können dann Fixierstifte eingesteckt werden, die das Türblatt in der Vertikalnut des Holms unverrückbar und dauerhaft fixieren. Bei der bekannten Duschabtrennung weist der vertikal verlaufene Holm am Außenmantel mehrere Durchgangsöffnungen auf, die nach Einführen der entsprechenden Befestigungselemente (Befestigungsschrauben und Fixierstifte) von außen ein wenig schönes Bild bieten und reinigungstechnisch problematisch sind. Einen größeren Verstellweg in einem im Querschnitt etwa vollkreisförmigen Holm hat man bislang nur bei einem ortsfesten Wandelement realisiert (DE - U - 88 04 540). In Anpassung an die Vollkreisform des Holms an der Wand ist hier einerseits der Holm der Schwingtür ebenfalls mit vollkreisförmigem Querschnitt ausgeführt, ist andererseits am gegenüberliegenden Rand des feststehenden Wandelementes ein diesen umfassender, im wesentlichen über die volle Höhe des Wandelementes durchgehender, ebenfalls vollkreisförmiger Eckholm vorgesehen, an den das Türblatt der Schwingtür an einer Anschlag- und Abdichtleiste anschlägt. Bei den beiden zuletzt erläuterten Holmen ist eine Verstellung zum Zwecke der Einstellung der Breite nur in ganz geringem Umfange möglich. Die Holme sind dazu beide im Querschnitt zweigeteilt, wobei die Teilungsebene in der Vertikalnut verläuft. An jedem Teil des Holms ist also eine der Tragwände der entsprechend gebildeten Vertikalnut realisiert, durch Verbinden und Verspannen beider Teile des Holmes läßt sich der Rand des Wandelementes bzw. des Türblattes in der Vertikalnut verspannen und dadurch fixieren. Zur Verbindung der beiden Teile des Holms, die ja gleichzeitig der Aufbringung der Klemmkraft zur Fixierung des Randes des Türblattes bzw. des Randelementes dient, sind über die Länge des Holms verteilt mehrere massive Befestigungsschrauben vorgesehen, die den Holm diagonal durchsetzen. Der maximal mögliche Verstellweg des Randes des Türblattes bzw. des Wandelementes ist damit auf deutlich weniger als die Hälfte des Durchmessers des Holms begrenzt. Bei einem Durchmesser von 40 mm und einer Mindest-Klemmlänge von 15 mm bleiben kaum 5 mm Verstellweg übrig. Erfindungsgemäß wird der Holm im Prinzip einteilig belassen wie im den Ausgangspunkt bildenden Stand der Technik. Er wird nur soweit im Querschnitt zweigeteilt, daß ein Abdeckteil separat vorhanden ist, das den kleineren Teil des Außenmantels auf einer Seite der Vertikalnut bis zum Durchbruch umfaßt. In komplett montiertem Zustand befinden sich dann die Köpfe der Befestigungselemente verdeckt unter diesem Abdeckteil, sind nicht sichtbar und können nicht verschmutzen. Wegen dieser verdeckten Anordnung ist es aber auch ohne weiteres möglich, in den Tragwänden, die die Vertikalnut bilden, zumindest in der Tragwand, die nach fertiger Justierung und Fixierung vom Abdeckteil abgedeckt ist, in Richtung der Tiefe der Vertikalnut an jeder vorgesehenen Position über die Länge der Vertikalnut mehrere Öffnungen für Befestigungselemente hintereinander oder eine entsprechend verlaufene Langlochöffnung vorzusehen. Dadurch kann man im Türblatt selbst mit einer einzigen, engen Durchgangsöffnung an vorgegebener Stelle auskommen, die Verstellung des Randes des Türblattes in der Vertikalnut kann durch Verlagerung des entsprechenden Befestigungselementes von einer zur anderen Öffnung in der Tragwand oder in der Langlochöffnung erfolgen. Damit wiederum ist es möglich, einen praktisch über den vollen Durchmesser des Holms abzüglich des Mindest-Klemmweges von 10 bis 15 mm sich erstreckenden Verstellweg in einem Holm zu realisieren. Die Breiteneinstellung der Duschabtrennung kommt damit zu ganz anderen Grenzen als bisher, ohne weiteres ist bei einem Außendurchmesser des Holmes von 40 mm bei beidseitigem Einsatz eines solchen Holmes die Breite der Duschabtrennung um 40 bis 50 mm variabel. Damit hat man eine wesentliche Voraussetzung erfüllt, um auch bei
Glasduschen zu einer Serienproduktion zu kommen. Das kann überdies vor Ort ohne große Schwierigkeiten geschehen, die Montage einer solchen Duschabtrennung ist dementsprechend wesentlich einfacher als bisher. Außerdem werden Montageschritte, die bislang im Werk in Form einer Vormontage vorgenommen werden mußten, nunmehr in die Montage am Aufstellungsort verlegt, wo sie aber ohnehin nicht zu mehr Aufwand führen, da dort eine Justierung in jedem Falle erforderlich ist. Dadurch, daß eine Links-/Rechts-Unterscheidung entfallen kann, reduziert sich die Modellvielfalt.In principle, the spar is left in one piece, as in the prior art forming the starting point. Fig. 1 zeigt als ein Ausführungsbeispiel eine Duschabtrennung in Form einer Eckdusche, eingebaut in den von zwei Wänden 1 eines Badezimmers gebildeten Winkel, aufgesetzt, wie üblich, auf den Rand 2 einer lediglich schematisch angedeuteten Duschwanne 3. Das dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel einer als Eckdusche ausgeführten Duschabtrennung besteht aus einer um eine vertikale Schwenkachse 4, die in Fig. 1 nur angedeutet ist, schwenkbaren Schwirgtür 5 und einem dazu rechtwinklig angeordneten, feststehenden Wandelement 6, das mittels einer nahe der von beiden gebildeten Ecke angeordneten Abspannstrebe 7 zur benachbarten Wand 1 hin abgespannt und so gegenüber dieser Wand 1 ausgerichtet und fixiert ist. Am unteren Rand des feststehenden Wandelementes 6 ist in Fig. 1 angedeutet eine Abdichtleiste 8 geringer Höhe, mit der das Wandelement 6 auf den Rand 2 der Duschwanne 3 aufsitzt und dort abgedichtet ist. Ähnlich befindet sich unterhalb der Schwingtür 5 auf dem Rand 2 der Duschwanne 3 eine in Fig. 1 ebenfalls nur angedeutete Abdichtleiste 9, über die ein aus Glas oder Kunststoff, insbesondere aus Sicherheitsglas, bestehendes, im wesentlichen rahmenloses Türblatt 10 der Schwingtür 5 beim Schließen mit dem unteren Rand hinweggleitet. Das Türblatt 10 kommt bei geschlossener Schwingtür 5 innenseitig gegenüber der Abdichtleiste 9 versetzt zu liegen, so daß Spritzwasser an der Innenseite des Türblattes 10 in die Duschwanne 3 hinein abläuft. Gleichzeitig führt die Abdichtleiste 9 zu einem Abstreifeffekt beim Öffnen des Türblattes 10, ihre Höhe von 10 bis 20 mm schafft Raum für eine später noch zu erläuternde Schwenklagerplatte zur Schwenklagerung des Türblattes 10. Im übrigen darf hierzu auf den im allgemeinen Teil der Beschreibung erläuterten Stand der Technik verwiesen werden.
