Definitions

  • the invention relates to a shelf for subdividing the interior of a piece of furniture, a piece of refrigerated furniture or the like, with an open-edged cutout for setting items to be stored that project beyond the distance between two shelves, the shelf with its lateral sections resting on support elements arranged on the side walls of the furniture and has a bowl-shaped shelf with a fixed shell part and a loose shell part that can be hung in the open-edge recess.
  • a refrigerator is known from DE-GM 89 03 221, the interior of which is divided into individual compartments with drawers which can be pulled out in the manner of a drawer.
  • the shelves are bowl-shaped and have an open-edge recess on the front to enable refrigerated goods to be placed in tall containers and bottles on a shelf below. In the event that no such refrigerated goods are to be temporarily parked, one or more trays can be inserted into the open-edged recess in order to make the available cooling space as complete as possible to take advantage of.
  • Such a shelf is not only suitable for storing liquid refrigerated goods directly on it, but also as a collecting trough for liquid refrigerated goods stored in open vessels, which can spill over the edge of the vessel, particularly if the shelf is pulled out carelessly or jerkily.
  • this shelf shows the problem that particularly small-sized packaged items are usually completely covered by the edges of the trays, so that no correct statement can be made about the type and amount of the stored goods simply by opening the refrigerator door.
  • it is hardly possible to completely or partially pull the shelf out of the refrigerator.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a storage space that can be used to accommodate liquid refrigerated goods directly, to be equipped with a collecting trough and to enable the setting of high refrigerated goods on an underlying storage shelf, while still having the possibilities that Both the viewing and thus the overview of the stored, in particular small-sized refrigerated goods, as well as their storage is made considerably easier.
  • the shelf is divided into a flat shelf and the bowl-shaped shelf.
  • the advantage of the solution according to the invention lies in the fact that small items packaged and placed on the flat part of the shelf are clearly presented to a user simply by opening the refrigerator door.
  • a solution in addition to a safe storage for liquid refrigerated goods, such a solution also offers the possibility of being able to adjust tall refrigerated goods without unnecessary loss of storage space.
  • the subdivision of the tray into the bowl-shaped and the flat part is made next to one another as seen in the direction of insertion of the tray.
  • Such a solution has the advantage that a certain systematic separation of liquid and other stored goods in the direction of access to the shelf is automatically predetermined by the design of the shelf, but above all the advantage that neither the removal nor the adjustment of liquid or solid goods are made more difficult or even hampered by the other.
  • the flat and the bowl-shaped storage area have approximately the same proportion of area, the loose and the fixed part of the bowl-shaped storage area having approximately the same capacity and the same proportion of area.
  • Such a solution is characterized by the fact that there is sufficient space for the storage of both liquid and other, for example small-sized, goods within one Storage is available.
  • the approximately equal capacity of the fixed or loose part of the bowl-shaped shelf allows the fixed and the loose part to be filled with the same volume through the loose part without the need for a measuring cup.
  • the fixed part of the bowl-shaped storage surface is also molded onto the frame of the shelf.
  • the flat storage surface is formed from transparent material and is surrounded on all sides by a frame serving as a frame, some of which is provided with a frame. is formed by the frame surrounding the edges of the shelf.
  • a particularly rigid, scratch-resistant and hygienic storage surface results if, according to a further advantageous embodiment of the object of the invention, it is provided that the transparent material is glass.
  • the fixed part of the shell-shaped scraper surface is arranged towards the rear wall of the furniture, while the loose shell part lies in the area of the opening of the furniture in the open-edged recess.
  • Such a solution is characterized by the fact that access to the loose part is considerably facilitated and, at the same time, the goods, which are often stored in the fixed part of the bowl-shaped storage area for a long time, are not caused by influences such as heat or UV radiation from sunlight, caused by frequent opening of the door Damage.
  • the loose part by marking the loose part in the area of the opening of the piece of furniture, it is achieved that items to be refrigerated in bottles or tall containers, in particular for their rapid cooling, can easily be introduced into the cooling space.
  • the loose shell part on its side facing the opening of the furniture has an angled edge section which engages in the stump of its frame formed by the open-edge recess in the shelf and optically in the continuous frame section for the Storage created.
  • a solution according to these features has the advantage that slipping of the loose shell part in the insertion direction of the tray is prevented in a simple manner and at the same time a handle for the loose shell part is generated.
  • the loose shell part can be inserted into the fixed shell part and that both shell parts can be covered with a uniform cover.
  • a household refrigerator 10 designed as a standing device is shown, the housing 11 of which is provided with an opening and can be closed with a door 12 hinged at the opening edge.
  • the housing 11 is, as usual, equipped with an outer cladding 13 and an inner cladding 14 arranged at a distance from it, between which an insulation layer, not shown, which is inserted for the purpose of thermal insulation, is introduced.
  • the inner lining 14 is opposite one another and is arranged at equal intervals above one another and is designed as guides, in whose guide groove-like depressions the lateral sections of removable shelves 16 and 17 are guided.
  • the shelves 17 are subdivided in the same direction as their insertion direction into a flat storage surface 18 and a bowl-shaped storage surface 19 which, viewed in the insertion direction, lie next to one another and which form a coherent storage surface arranged across the width of the interior of the refrigerator 10.
  • the subdivision of the shelf into the flat and the bowl-shaped part is chosen so that the bowl-shaped shelf 19 and the flat shelf 18 have approximately the same proportion of area.
  • the shelf 17 formed from the flat and the bowl-shaped shelf has a one-piece frame 20 which runs around its edges and is produced, for example, by plastic injection molding.
  • the frame 20 is facing the opening of the housing 11 turned front frame portion 21, almost over the entire width of the bowl-shaped shelf 19, provided with an open edge recess 22 which is delimited on both sides by stub-like lugs 23.
  • Adjoining the front frame section 21 are the lateral sections of the shelf 17, which are already mentioned and are guided in the supporting rails 15 and are designed as legs 24 and 25 of the frame 20 and are connected to one another in the rear region of the shelf 17 by a rear frame section 26.
  • the upper side of the frame section 26 is equipped with a board which takes up almost its length and is arranged approximately perpendicular to it and which signals the rear end of the storage area.
  • the frame 20 is equipped with intermediate webs 27 and 28 which contribute to its stiffening, of which the intermediate web provided with the reference number 27, which runs parallel to the legs 24 and 25 of the frame 20 and connects the rear intermediate web to the front frame section, is the storage surface of the shelf 17 divided into two roughly equal areas.
  • the intermediate web 27 forms, together with the leg 24 and the two associated sections of the front and rear frame sections 21 and 26, a frame which encloses the flat shelf 18 designed as a glass plate.
  • the bowl-shaped shelf 19 can be made of transparent plastic.
  • This is equipped with a circumferential edge 30 which immediately adjoins its shell opening and which is continued exclusively in the front region of the shell part 29 with a downward bend 31.
  • a recess 32 is arranged approximately in the center of the shell width, which completely takes the bend 31 in its area and extends close to the shell opening.
  • a fixed shell part 33 facing the frame section 26 and having a capacity corresponding to the shell part 29 is arranged behind the supporting skeleton for the detachably designed shell part 29 and connects to the corresponding sections of the frame 20 or the intermediate webs 27 and 28 - for example by injection molding - is molded with.
  • the loose shell part 29 can be inserted into the opening delimited by the supporting skeleton, the shell bottom penetrating the supporting skeleton when the switching part 29 is inserted and the flange-like edge 30 of the shell part 29 resting on the surfaces of the supporting skeleton facing it.
  • the chamfer 31 arranged in the front area of the shell part 29 encompasses the two stub-like projections 23 in such a way that they lie between the shell wall associated with them and the chamfer 31, as a result of which the loose shell part 29 has a positive fit both in the insertion and in the pull-out direction of the shelf is held.
  • the bevel 31 forms, by bridging the recess 23, an optically continuous frame section 21 for the tray 17th
  • the loose shell part 29 is removed from the supporting skeleton by means of the fold 31 serving as a handle and inserted into the rear fixed shell part 33, the loose shell part 29 rests with its bottom on the bottom of the fixed shell part 33.
  • the shell walls of the loose shell part 29 are surrounded by those of the fixed shell part in such a way that the loose shell part 29 is held in a form-fitting manner both in the insertion direction of the shelf 17 and transversely thereto.
  • the loose shell part 29 is secured against slipping by the stop of its flange-like edge 30 on the board. When the edge 30 abuts the board, the bend 31 is essentially flush with the front edge of the intermediate web 29 facing the recess 23.
  • a cover 34 can be placed on the opening edge thereof.
  • the recess 32 is provided, by means of which the cover 34 can be gripped at its edge section facing the recess.
  • the loose shell part 29 including the cover 34 can also consist of good heat-conducting materials, such as enamelled sheet metal, stainless steel, or also of glass or ceramic, in order to be able to use this shell part as cookware.
