Kurbelstangen sind z.B. in der US-A-2 143 348 oder der DE-A-36 23 612 beschrieben und dienen zur Betätigung von Ösen bei Markisen. Dabei besitzt die herkömmliche Öse gewöhnlich eine ovale Form, was zum einen eine ungleichmäßige Übertragung des Drehmomentes von der Kurbelstange auf die Öse und zum anderen die Abnutzung bestimmter Partien der Öse zur Folge hat. Dies wird im wesentlichen dadurch erreicht, daß der quer zur Längsachse der Kurbelstange sich erstreckende Abschnitt des Hakens so groß ist, daß die obige Voraussetzung praktisch immer erfüllt ist.
