Definitions

  • the invention relates to a collapsible frame for receiving a hammock according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such collapsible frames are known.
  • the publication DE-U-89 00 270 shows such a frame, which consists of two parallel tubular and curved main parts, which are spatially separated from one another by struts, into each of which two further tubular parts can be telescopically inserted and in the extended state can be locked.
  • the connecting frame To set up this frame, the connecting frame must be brought into the extended position and locked before pulling out and locking all eight tubular parts, which is complex and therefore disadvantageous because of the number of parts that form the frame. When pulling out and pushing in the tubular parts, there is a risk that these parts will be twisted and jammed.
  • frames are known, as can be seen for example from CH-PS 674 920, which consist of individual, rod-like elements which can be plugged together. When disassembled, these rod-like elements are individually placed in a pocket together with the hammock. To set up the frame must now be put together from these individual, rod-like elements. This has to be done in a predetermined manner. This can cause problems for a user who wants to put the frame together, especially if he is putting this frame together for the first time or if he has not used it for a long time used more. In the latter case, there is a risk that he no longer knows exactly how the individual parts belong together and must be inserted.
  • a frame is proposed in DE-OS 36 32 243 in which the individual parts are connected to one another in an articulated manner .
  • the two middle parts can be folded up, while the two outer parts can each be folded down.
  • it is necessary that the articulated connection between the two middle parts must be fixed in the erected state in order to avoid collapsing.
  • two angle irons are mounted, which must be held together with a screw connection. This increases the effort for setting up or dismantling.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a frame for receiving a hammock, which is extremely easy to set up and dismantle again, and which can be stored in the smallest space when disassembled.
  • the frame according to the invention for receiving a hammock can be set up in the simplest manner by pulling the extension pieces out of the base frame formed from one part and fixing them in the extended position by the locking means.
  • the locking means, the extension pieces, are released for supply are inserted into the base frame. Both the erection and the supplying of this frame can be carried out without a technical understanding being required.
  • the non-circular shape of the hollow profiles of the base frame and the extension pieces ensures that a mutual twisting of the hollow profiles and consequently twisting of the frame is avoided without additional longitudinal guides being required.
  • the cross-sectional shape is drop-shaped and consists of two arcs with different radii, the opposite ends of the two arches being connected by a straight line.
  • the number of extension pieces that can be pulled out on both sides of the frame can be increased even further, for example to four, as a result of which the frame becomes even smaller in the pushed-together position.
  • each extension piece at its end area, which is inserted into the inner cavity of the adjacent hollow profile with an outer slide ring.
  • the hollow sections at their end areas, into which the adjacent hollow sections are inserted are provided with an internal sliding ring.
  • These sliding rings serve to avoid that the hollow profiles which can be pushed into one another come into direct contact with one another and to reduce the friction between the displaceable hollow profiles.
  • these slide rings serve as stops, by means of which it is prevented that one hollow profile can be completely pulled out of the other.
  • this also ensures that the part inserted into the adjacent hollow profile always protrudes into this hollow profile by a certain length so that there are no problems with power transmission.
  • the locking means which are each arranged on the end regions of the hollow profiles into which the further hollow profiles can be inserted, preferably consist of an eccentric which can be pivoted about a stationary axis by means of a lever and which acts on a pressure plate which acts in is an opening of the hollow profile and can be pressed with the pivotable eccentric on the inner hollow profile.
  • the pressure plate on the side with which it comes to rest on the inner hollow profile has a shape corresponding to the surface of the inner hollow profile. This ensures that the pressure exerted by the eccentric on the pressure plate acts over a larger area on the internal hollow profile, thereby avoiding permanent impressions on this hollow profile.
  • the support surface of the pressure plate is provided with a rubber-elastic covering.
  • a further advantageous embodiment of the invention consists in that a securing device is arranged in the area of each locking means, which are arranged on the extension pieces and on the base frame. This securing device ensures that the fully extended extension pieces are locked independently and can be unlocked for insertion of the corresponding extension pieces.
  • This securing device can advantageously consist of a pin which is displaceable transversely to the longitudinal orientation of the corresponding extension piece and which is pressed by means of a spring against the inner surface of the hollow profile of the adjacent extension piece.
  • Wedges are provided for unlocking the pin, with which the respective pin can be lifted out of the opening.
  • the first pin seen from the two outer ends of the frame, can be unlocked by an actuating piece which is integrated in the holding means for holding the hammock, for which purpose the actuating piece is connected to the corresponding wedge via a pull rod.
  • the frame 1 for receiving a schematically illustrated hammock 2 can be seen.
  • the frame 1 is composed of a base frame 3, which consists of a hollow profile 4 with two pairs of legs 5 attached to it, and on each side of a first extension piece 6 and a second extension piece 7.
  • the hollow profile 4 of the base frame 3 has a constant bend with the radius R over its entire length, which in this exemplary embodiment is approximately 2.3 m.
  • the arc of the hollow profile 4 has a central angle of approximately 40 °.
  • brackets 10 and 11 are attached, in each of which a pair of legs 5 are pivotally mounted. These two pairs of legs 5 hold the hollow profile 4 in their pivoted-out position so that the bending plane of the hollow profile 4 is perpendicular to the standing surface.
  • a first extension piece 6 is inserted telescopically.
  • locking means 12 are arranged on its end regions 8 and 9 on both sides.
  • the first extension pieces 6, which also consist of a hollow profile, which corresponds in shape to the hollow profile 4 of the base frame 3, but with a smaller outer diameter, also has a constant bend with the radius R over its entire length, during the Central angle is about 20 °.
  • a second extension piece 7 is inserted telescopically at its end facing away from the base frame.
  • a locking means 13 are attached to the latter at the outer end region.
  • the second extension piece 7 is also provided with a bend with the radius R that is constant over its entire length, and likewise has a central angle of approximately 20 °.
  • a holding means 14, for example in the form of a hook, is attached to the outside end area of the second extension piece 7, on which the hammock can be hung.
  • the second extension piece 7 can be completely inserted into the interior of the first extension piece 6 to supply the frame 1.
  • the first extension piece 6 can in turn be fully inserted into the hollow profile 4 of the base frame 3.
  • the legs 5 can be pivoted in such a way that they practically rest on the hollow profile 4 of the base frame 3.
  • the frame thus prepared for supply therefore essentially consists only of the slightly curved hollow profile 4.
  • a slide ring 15 is fastened, as can be seen from FIG. 3.
  • This slide ring 15, which can be made of plastic, slides when moved on the inner surface 16 of the said hollow profile.
  • a second slide ring 17 is fastened, in which the surface of the corresponding first extension piece 6 or the second extension piece 7 slides.
  • This slide ring 17 can also consist of plastic. The attachment of these two sliding rings 15 and 17 reduces the friction between the telescopically displaceable parts and thereby facilitates handling. At the same time, the arrangement of these two slide rings 15 and 17 ensures that the extended position of the corresponding parts is fixed by a stop, in that the slide ring 15 comes to rest on the slide ring 17.
  • a locking means 12 and 13 is shown, both of which are designed in the same way, and are only adapted to the respective diameter of the corresponding hollow profile.
  • an annular sleeve 18 is placed, which is closed with a web 19 which covers the slide ring 17 to the outside.
  • the annular sleeve 18 is firmly connected to the corresponding hollow profile.
  • the annular sleeve 18 is equipped with an outer flank 20 and an inner flank 21.
  • an axis 22 is inserted in corresponding openings, which is aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the corresponding frame part.
  • an eccentric 23 is pivotally mounted on this axis 22.
  • the eccentric 23 is pivoted via a lever 24, which can be operated by hand.
  • a pressure plate 26 is inserted in an opening 25, which penetrates the wall of the hollow profile 4 or the first extension piece 6 and the slide ring 17, and which between the flanks 20 and 21 and is arranged above the eccentric 23, a pressure plate 26 is inserted.
  • This pressure plate 26 has on the side facing the eccentric 23 a recess which is adapted to the surface of the eccentric 23.
  • the lever 24 is connected to the eccentric 23 such that when the lever 24 comes to rest on the surface of the annular sleeve 18, the eccentric 23 has exceeded its dead center position, so that it remains in this position.
  • the pressure plate 26 is provided on the support surface with the internal extension piece 6 or 7 with a rubber-elastic covering. This increases the clamping position of the internal extension piece 6 or 7.
  • the bracket 10, on which the legs 5 are arranged and which is fastened to the hollow profile 4 of the base frame, can be seen in detail in FIGS. 5 and 6.
  • the holder 10 consists of a bracket 27 which is firmly connected to the hollow profile 4 and which has an extension 28 or 29 on both sides.
  • a hinge pin 30 or 31 is inserted, on each of which a leg 5 is pivotally mounted.
  • the pivoting movement of the leg 5 around the bolt 30 or 31 is in the pivoted-out position by a stop 32 or 33 limited.
  • This stop 32 or 33 is arranged such that the corresponding legs 5 can be pivoted out approximately at right angles about the corresponding pivot axes.
  • the legs 5 can be pivoted in such a way that they come into contact with the hollow profile 4 of the base frame 3 on the longitudinal side.
  • non-circular hollow profile 4 for the base frame 3 and of appropriately shaped first extension pieces 6 and second extension pieces 7 ensures that mutual rotation is avoided without additional longitudinal guides having to be attached.
  • This non-circular shape can be oval, for example, as can be seen from FIG. 4.
  • this non-circular shape can also be drop-shaped, for example, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 12.
  • the cross-sectional shape has an arc 36 on the inside 35 of the bend, while an arc 38 is provided on the outside 37.
  • the two arches 36 and 38 are connected on both sides by a straight line 39 and 40, respectively. These straight lines 39 and 40 formed levels ensure good guidance in the displacement of the hollow profiles.
  • an embodiment of a collapsible frame for receiving a hammock is described, which is constructed like the previous embodiment, but additionally has a safety device with which an unwanted pushing together of the individual hollow profiles is avoided.
  • extension piece 7 shows in section the outermost extension piece of the frame 1, for example the second extension piece 7, if two extension pieces are provided on each side. To simplify this extension piece is just drawn, of course it is actually bent like the first embodiment.
  • a holding means 14 is placed, in which, for example, a rope loop 41 of the hammock can be hung.
  • An actuating piece 42 is mounted in the holding means 14 so as to be longitudinally displaceable.
  • the actuating piece 42 is shaped such that it forms part of the support surface for the cable loop 41 in the holding means 14, as can also be seen from the top view in FIG. 8.
  • the actuating piece 42 is connected to a rod 43, which rod 43 extends in the inner region along the second extension piece 7.
  • the end of the second extension piece 7 opposite the holding means 14 is closed off with a pin 44 which is inserted into the second extension piece 7.
  • a slot 45 is made in the pin 44, in which a wedge 46 is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner and which is connected to the rod 43.
  • the wedge 46 and thus the rod 43 and the actuating piece 42 are pulled by a tension spring 47, which is fastened in the pin 44 and is connected to the wedge 46, against the end of the second extension piece 7 facing away from the holding means 14, the actuating piece 42 also a stop surface 63 is provided, which is supported on the extension piece 7.
  • a bore 48 is made in the pin 44 and extends transversely to the slot 45. This bore 48 also penetrates the wall of the second extension piece 7.
  • a pin 49 is inserted, which in turn has a slot 50 through which the wedge 46 is guided.
  • the pin 49 is pressed against the outside by a compression spring 51 which is inserted into the bore 48 and is supported on the slide ring 15 comes in the fully extended state of the second extension piece 7 with respect to the first extension piece 6, as shown in Fig. 7, to lie in an opening 52 which is attached in the first extension piece 6.
  • the actuating piece 42 can be pulled outwards, whereby the wedge 46 moves so that the pin 49 is pulled out of the opening 52 of the first extension piece 6, whereby when the locking means 13, not shown, is solved, the second extension piece 7 can be inserted into the first extension piece 6.
  • FIG. 9 shows a top view in section of the wedge 46 according to FIG. 7. It can be seen here that the wedge 46 is formed from a narrow plate which is guided through the slot 50 of the pin 49. A corresponding bore 53 is provided in the pin 44 to accommodate the tension spring 47, as can also be seen in the top view shown in FIG. 11.
  • the first extension piece 6 is also closed at its end region, which can be inserted into the adjacent hollow profile, by a pin 55, as shown in FIG. 10.
  • a bore 56 is made in the pin 55 transversely to the longitudinal orientation of the first extension piece 6, in which a pin 57 is mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable.
  • the bore 56 has an enlarged diameter at its upper end, in which a head-shaped extension 58 of the pin 57 Has space.
  • a compression spring 59 is accommodated, which is supported on the wall of the first extension piece 6 and presses on the head-shaped extension 58 of the pin 57, whereby this pin 57 projects into an opening 60 in the fully extended state of the first extension piece, which in the Wall of the hollow profile 4 is attached. In this locked position, the first extension piece 6 cannot be inserted into the hollow profile 4.
  • a recess 61 is made in the pin 55 in the area of the head-shaped extension 58 of the pin 57, which recess is designed in such a way that the wedges 54 of the second extension piece 7 can retract.
  • the wedges 54 move into the recess 61 in the last part of this insertion movement, whereby the head-shaped extension 58 along the wedge surfaces and consequently the pin 57 are raised.
  • the pin 57 is thereby lifted out of the opening 60 of the hollow profile 4, the unlocking is released.
  • the first extension piece 6 can then be inserted into the hollow profile 4.
  • the pin 55 is also equipped with wedges 62 which, when pushed further together, would engage in a corresponding safety device, as was described for FIG. 10.
  • This safety device prevents the frame from being pushed together at an undesired moment in the event of incorrect manipulation of the locking means 12 or 13 could be.
  • the pins 49 and 57 can only be actuated in the manner described. When the extension pieces are pulled out, the pins 49 and 57 automatically snap into the corresponding openings 52 and 60, as a result of which an automatic locking takes place.
