The shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of the claims 9 to 11, characterized in that the detent member (55) of the coulisse (33) is engageable with a notch (17 or 18) provided on the slider (8) and is unable to disengage from the notch (17 or 18) until a suitable catch (61) releases the detent member (55) of the coulisse (33).

The shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of the claims 14 to 18, characterized in that a knob (68) is provided on the rear side of the catch (61) of the locking switch (62), which knob, in relation to the locking position of the locking switch (62), is arranged below a further knob (69) provided on the rib structure (67) of the frame (15).
  20. The shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a control element configured as a push rod (70) is slidably carried in the housing (1) for locating the shaving head (2), the control element being biased in the longitudinal direction of the shaving apparatus against the pressure of a spring (71) resting with one end against the push rod (70) and with its other end against a strut member (72) secured in the housing (1).
  21. The shaving apparatus as claimed in claim 20, characterized in that the push rod (70) is operatively associated with the slide switch (4b) through an engaging means (83) provided on the push rod (70) and is movable by means of the slide switch against the action of at least one spring (37, 71) into a position locking the shaving head (2).
  22. The shaving apparatus as claimed in any one of the claims 7 to 21, characterized in that in the lower position of the long-hair trimmer (L) the coulisse (33) has its end (49) in abutting engagement with the rear end (47) of the locating element (21) and prevents the long-hair trimmer (L) from moving out of its locked position.
