Description

The invention relates to a composite profile for frames of wall elements, doors and windows made of metal tubes connected by metal webs with intermediate fire and temperature resistant insulating material, according to the preamble of protection claim 1, as used for example as a fire protection element.

Composite profiles of this type have already been proposed, in which two steel tubes and an insulating material plate clamped in between are connected to one another by means of continuous screws or rivets. The screws or rivets provided penetrate both opposing inner tube walls. For the insertion of the screws or rivets, however, at least the outer wall of the one tube must be provided with relatively large openings. This requires a rather cumbersome job when assembling the profile. In addition, the large holes / openings visible on the outside of the pipes must be covered by additional cover profiles.

From DE-PS 33 24 210 a composite profile is known in which the two metal pipes made of weldable material are connected to one another via metal webs made of weldable material which penetrate the insulating layer between them. These metal webs, which can be bolts or pipe pieces, for example, are attached at both ends to the pipe walls facing the insulating layer by resistance welding. This has the advantage that, through simple, fully automated processes, a composite profile without external, optically disruptive openings can be achieved.

t = 30 Minuten = 822° C
t = 60 Minuten = 925° C
t = 90 Minuten = 986° C
However, these known composite profiles no longer meet the increasingly high requirements for fire protection components. With the so-called F90 tests / regulations, it is necessary to achieve increased insulation. That means, with a prescribed unit temperature curve (ETK) according to DIN 4102, part 2, with furnace temperatures of
t = 30 minutes = 822 ° C
t = 60 minutes = 925 ° C
t = 90 minutes = 986 ° C
the temperature on the surface (the side facing away from the fire) must not exceed 180 ° C. With the known frame profiles / composite profiles, compliance with these regulations is not possible.

The object of the invention is to provide a composite profile / frame profile of the type mentioned above, which meets the new DIN regulations and is also easy and inexpensive to hear.

This object is achieved by a composite profile with the features of claim 1. Further advantageous refinements are described in the subclaims.

Accordingly, the composite profile according to the invention has a further insulation layer. This has the great advantage that a double insulation effect is achieved by doubling the insulation layer, of course with the corresponding positive fire protection properties.

It is advantageous if this further insulation layer is arranged essentially parallel to the first insulation layer and has essentially the same composition and configuration as this. This makes it possible to use, for example, identical insulation material plates, which means that the production of the composite profile is not significantly more complex and becomes more expensive.

However, the two insulation layers can also be formed from different materials, so that frame profiles with different properties can be achieved. Furthermore, it has an advantageous effect if the second insulation layer in relation to the first insulation layer is outside, ie. H. is arranged on the outside of one of the two metal tubes. In order to increase the insulation effect and at the same time ensure the strength of the composite, the outside, i.e. H. a cover profile can be arranged on the side of the second insulation layer facing away from the inner metal profile. This cover profile can be a simple metal plate or a profile plate which, apart from its protective function, can also fulfill a general covering function at the same time.

It is particularly advantageous if the cover profile is essentially identical to the metal tube, which is also external in the composite and which also plays the role of a cover profile. In this case, the two outer metal tubes / cover profiles can, for example, be of essentially identical design, with a mirror-image formation for more complex profiling being useful if, for example, fastening arrangements for glazing beads, etc. have to be taken.

However, all three profiled metal tubes can, for. B. be essentially identical square tubes, only corresponding screw holes are to be provided on the two outer profile tubes for attaching the glazing beads or similar elements.

With the solution according to the invention it is achieved that in comparison with the known solution with only one insulator (four times the transition), now with a double insulator arrangement, the transition (different materials) is achieved six times. Through these measures, the otherwise inaccessible regulations are observed, which could be clearly demonstrated by extensive tests.

At the same time the very great advantage is achieved that a manufacturer of the known composite profiles with the materials and profiles used so far and a large part of the facilities continue to work practically completely unchanged, i. H. can produce the composite profile according to the invention.

For example, the known composite profile with welded-in metal webs between two metal profiles is produced by first placing a perforated insulating layer plate on a lower tube, into whose holes the protruding metal webs are inserted, whereupon the second tube is placed on these metal webs and the whole thing gradually between is moved through the electrodes of a resistance device. The webs are welded to the tubes in groups between the movement steps. In order to build up the composite profile according to the invention with three metal tubes and two insulating layers, a perforated insulating layer plate with metal webs and then the third metal tube must be placed on the top tube in the known composite profile, which plays the role of the center tube in the composite profile according to the invention can be joined together in the same way by resistance welding. Consequently, apart from possibly a new middle profile tube, if not all three tubes are identical, no single newly formed part is necessary for the composite profile according to the invention. In addition, the middle section tube is usually a very simply smooth square tube, which does not require special manufacture and is therefore relatively economical to buy.

The composite profile according to the invention allows the arrangement of, for example, an insulating glass pane, not only because of its significantly increased height and thus greater depth of the frame part made therefrom, but also allows here also a multiplication or at least a doubling of the door or window glazing, with air layers provided in between, for example, which have a very positive insulating effect.

The invention is described in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing.

A composite profile 1 according to the invention can be seen essentially in the center of the single drawing figure. This composite profile 1 consists of a first, external profile steel tube 2, a second profile steel tube 3, which is essentially arranged centrally in the composite, and a third, also external profile steel tube 4. In this exemplary embodiment, the three profile steel tubes 2, 3, 4 are essentially identical and parallel aligned with each other. Only the two outer section steel tubes 3 and 4 have corresponding holes for fixing via steel buttons 5 and screws 6 of glazing beads 7.

The three section steel tubes 2, 3, 4 are connected to one another via retaining bolts 8 at a predefined distance. The two substantially equal distances between the three section steel tubes are filled with fire protection insulation 9, 10. This fire protection insulation can in each case be a prefabricated plate, which is interposed before welding. However, it can also be foamed after the metal elements have been welded together. In any case, it has a high fire and temperature resistance and can also consist of different layers, which can be layered both in the horizontal and in the vertical direction.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, a cover plate, for example an aluminum cover shell 11, is arranged on only one side of the composite profile its two inwardly drawn ends is inserted via corresponding grooves 12 and clamping springs 13 in glazing groove 14 of the glazing beads 7. This cover shell primarily serves aesthetic purposes and can also be provided in an identical manner on the other side of the composite profile.

Between the two glazing beads 7 screwed to the outer section steel tubes on the same composite profile long side, two mutually parallel glass panes 15 with an air gap 16 in between are held in place by means of corresponding insulations 17.
