Definitions

  • Multipurpose clamping device intended to hold objects without damaging them and its method of use.
  • the present invention relates to a method for producing a multipurpose clamping device intended to hold objects without damaging them, such a device and its method of use.
  • Known tools or jaws are used for clamping or assembling parts which generally consist of two jaws mounted on a support part serving as a guide, part along which can slide at least one of these jaws so as to be able to adjust their spacing according to the size of the part to be clamped or the parts to be assembled and / or held in position.
  • Many devices such as notching, ratchet, screw, spring, hydraulic or the like are provided to maintain the relative position of the jaws and / or to exert pressure on the part or parts to be clamped or assembled .
  • European patent EP 080 960 which corresponds to a prior request from the inventor, and which describes devices with orientable jaws, adaptable to any support to ensure stable clamping, assembly, spacing or holding pieces of any shape and size.
  • the device represented in FIG. 4 of this European patent comprises:
  • first movable arm itself constituting a first jaw element
  • a helical compression spring guided around a second cylindrical piece called guide piece, connecting, parallel to the support piece, one of the ends of the second movable arm to a second jaw element. This is mounted idly at one end of said guide part and the other end of this crosses the end of the second movable arm in a sliding manner so as to be retained on the other side, by a pin, a pin, a clip or a key.
  • the guide part can skew in the passage through which it crosses the second movable arm, in the latitude of the game necessary for its slide ent in said passage. This leads the second jaw element to shift laterally relative to the first jaw element, which can be annoying during a clamping operation.
  • a helical spring as a means of elastic compression implies the use of several accessories such as a second jaw element (1a) (in addition to the movable arm (6)), a guide piece (2a ) and a pin (13), and to provide a passage for the guide part in said movable arm.
  • the cost of these accessories and of making this passage obviously increases the cost price of the device and also its weight.
  • the present invention consists, with regard to the device shown in Figure 4 of European Patent EP 080 960, to replace with a single part the assembly consisting of the spring, its guide part, means for retaining and sliding the latter and the second jaw member.
  • This single piece is a substantially elastic pad, one of the faces of which rests on said movable arm and the opposite face of which is called the bearing face and is to be applied against the objects to be enclosed. We will see later that this replacement avoids any loss of function and creates new ones.
  • Said pad is composed of a material substantially elastic such as natural or synthetic rubber, foam plastic, cotton. It can have a solid or spongy structure.
  • Said bearing face is substantially flat or slightly in a bowl and its base is essentially orthogonal to said support piece.
  • Said pad can take the form of a glued washer, a shutter fixed by a pin or a ring threaded on said movable arm at a distance from said support piece.
  • a clamping device equipped according to the present invention comprises:
  • cylindrical support piece such as a rod or a tube, not necessarily of circular section
  • At least two movable arms capable of sliding along and taking several orientations around said support piece and each extending clearly on either side of it in an essentially orthogonal direction, at least one substantially elastic pad, which pad, on the one hand, is fixed on one of the arms at a distance from said support piece and, on the other hand, has opposite to the arm on which it is fixed, a bearing face, including the plate is essentially orthogonal to the support part.
  • the invention can be conceived as a global production process comprising the following steps: a. supply of a cylindrical support part, such as a rod or a tube, not necessarily of circular section, b. mounting on said support part of at least two mobile arms capable of sliding along and taking several orientations around it, each of said movable arms extending clearly on either side of said support part in an essentially orthogonal direction, c. equipping at least one of said movable arms at a distance from said support part by a substantially elastic pad, the latter having, opposite the arm on which it is fixed, a bearing face, the base of which is essentially orthogonal to the support piece.
  • a device according to the invention takes the name of "assembler" in the following description.
  • the clamping operation of an assembler comprising only two movable arms, consists in pushing these, one towards the other, along the support piece, with the bearing face of the pad of one arm turned towards the other arm, and as soon as there is sufficient resistance to release the thrust.
  • the arms are then blocked by tilting against said support piece like the ski-lift poles on their cable, whether or not there is something facing said buffer. To rule out, the principle is the same. With the movable arms turned over on the support piece, we act in reverse.
  • the clamping operation is the same when the assembly piece of the assembler is partitioned into several parallel cylindrical elements, on the whole of which slide just two movable arms.
  • the tightening operation differs in the approach of the movable arms, but the locking system remains the same.
  • the first two arms are oriented around said support piece according to a V and they are pushed towards the next two, arranged substantially along the same V, roughly the pad of the first arm facing that of the third arm and the pad of the second arm facing that of the fourth arm.
  • a third pair of mobile arms is added, each equipped with a substantially elastic pad to grasp, without damaging, objects to be paint or work with your hands free, you get a third hand called “vertical”.
  • server we add a fourth, a fifth, etc ..., pairs of mobile arms, always mounted on the free part of the support piece, we successively obtain a fourth, a fifth, etc., "vertical" hands.
  • Another auxiliary hand configuration can be obtained by mounting three pairs of movable arms one behind the other along said support piece, the movable arms of each pair being provided with substantially elastic pads whose bearing faces are turned. towards each other. Both first pairs of movable arms are separately locked by pad-to-pad clamping at one end of the support piece in two orientations differing by a non-zero angle which can be clearly above or below 90 °.
  • the third pair of movable arms also constitutes a "server" for picking up objects to paint or to work with your hands free.
  • the third hand thus obtained is called, in the remainder of the present application, the third "horizontal" hand because, resting on three feet - the buffers of the first two pairs of movable arms locked at one end of the support piece and the other end of it - it can be installed - anywhere on a roughly horizontal surface. If to this third pair is added a fourth, a fifth, etc., pairs of movable arms, always mounted on the remaining part of the support piece, one obtains successively a fourth, a fifth, etc., "horizontal" hands.

It can also consist of a flexible strip of dominoes for electrical mounting which is kept curved, for example, by the way it is stowed on the first of said support pieces.
  • the direction of the first of said support pieces makes an angle of approximately 90 ° with one of the other support pieces gripped by the coupler, it is possible to grip objects on three sides (T-clamping) or on four sides (clamping cross) between the movable arms carried by these two support parts.
  • the coupler is capable of gripping several support pieces in directions all distinct from that of the support piece on which said coupler is stowed, it is possible to enclose objects from multiple sides between the movable arms carried by said support pieces.

  • the assembler according to the invention is versatile and that its general method of use, which makes it possible to hold objects by tightening without damaging them, consists of the following steps: a. enclosing said objects between substantially elastic pads carried by movable arms arranged along one or more cylindrical support pieces and capable of taking several orientations around them, b. apply a push on the back of said arms, in the direction of said objects, along said support pieces and release this push, so as to block each of said arms by tilting against the support piece on which it is disposed, vs. possibly using as support auxiliary objects placed in contact with substantially elastic pads carried by other mobile arms arranged and locked along said support parts.
  • an additional characteristic can consist in that the ends of the support part are provided with removable end caps of the type clips, jumper, pin, key, pin, or section of flexible cylindrical sheath threaded by light forcing.

  • the first advantage of the invention resides in the fact that the tampon, by its substantial elasticity in the mass and by the capacity of its bearing face to match the contours of the gripping surfaces of the enclosed objects, achieves in one piece all the functions which hitherto fulfilled in synergy, in the device represented in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960, the spring, the guide part, the means for retaining and sliding the latter on its support arm, and the second jaw element:
  • the faces carried by the movable arms and which serve to press on the objects to be clamped are naturally held el astically facing one another during the clamping phase; the elastic retention allows them in addition to tilt to compensate for any defects in parallelism between the gripping surfaces of said objects and the movable arms;
  • the clamping force is limited by the elastic erasure of the pad against the hard points; - moreover, thanks to the elasticity of the pad which slightly redefines, the play between the enclosed objects, play which a drying of glue can create, is caught up automatically;
  • the elasticity of the buffer also makes it possible to absorb most of the shocks and vibrations to which objects enclosed may be subjected by any external action;
  • the second advantage of the invention is that it is free from the defects which have been indicated above with regard to the device represented in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960.
  • the tampon creates a new function, in relation to all of the parts it replaces: avoiding the backsliding of the face to be supported by each movable arm on the objects to be gripped, which obviously results in making more safe the tightening operation.
  • the third advantage of the invention is to be accompanied by the creation of all new functions: overlapping, which has been presented above and which would have been difficult to achieve with a device of the type shown in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960, because of the tendency to shift from the guide rod of the spring; the third horizontal and vertical hands, generally capable of an arbitrary number of hands; star mounting.
  • the servers which equip the auxiliary hands according to the invention do not risk with their substantially elastic pads of scratching the parts seized as the crocodile clips of traditional auxiliary hands can do with their teeth.
  • these servers have their jaw elements which can open very widely while remaining parallel to each other.
  • the auxiliary hands according to the invention are much lighter than traditional auxiliary hands, since they do not need a heavy base to maintain balance, even when the servers are loaded.

  • the buffers of the first two pairs of movable arms locked by clamping at one end of the support piece produce with the other end thereof a lifting tripod. That is to say the generic power of the combination: cylindrical support piece, movable arms and substantially elastic pads.
  • the fifth advantage of the invention is that by replacing the assembly consisting of the spring, the second jaw element, the guide rod with its means of retention and sliding on said second movable arm, the buffer constitutes at the same time a wedge of soft material, because substantially elastic. That is to say, it is useless to insert a plate of wood or other soft material between the pad and the gripping surface of the objects to be gripped, to spare it. This is appreciable because the insertion of shims is always an inconvenient operation.

  • This type of mounting makes it possible to overcome the absence of an easily grasped outline for holding enclosed objects, which is often the case with art objects to be restored.
  • the seventh advantage of the invention is linked to the modularity of the assemblers which itself results from the mobility of the arms on the cylindrical support part. Cylindrical support parts of the same section can be fixed in the extension of one another by couplers such as dominoes for electrical assemblies, sleeves for mechanical tubes or cable fittings. It does not matter that the couplers constitute barriers for the mobility of the arms between the different sections of support parts. Abstract

A method for making and a method for using a device designed to hold objects by clamping while preventing damage thereto. This device includes a cylindrical support part (1) and two arms (2), each arm having a transverse hole and at least one of these arms is carrying an elastic buffer (3) secured thereto. This buffer possesses a contact face and has under its contact face a thickness large enough so that said buffer acts as a compression spring when his contact face contacts the surface of one of the objects. And this buffer is resilient enough such that his contact face can flex and pivot to substantially conform to this surface. The support part is disposed within the transverse hole of each arm such that at least one of these arms is movable along the support part. And the buffer is disposed at a distance from the support part with its contact face approximately at a right angle to it.

Multipurpose clamping device intended to hold objects without damaging them and its method of use.
1. DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION1. FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for producing a multipurpose clamping device intended to hold objects without damaging them, such a device and its method of use.
2. ETAT DE L'ART2. STATE OF THE ART
On se référera par exemple aux brevets français N° 1.214.695, 2.223.786, 2.347.156 et 1.368.244, aux brevets des Etats-Unis d'Amérique N° 230.432, 669.282, 1.424.034, 3.151.897, 3.044.512, 3.218.058 et 4.202.540, et aux modèles d'utilité de la République Fédérale d'Allemagne Nβ 1871373 et G.8111072.3.Known tools or jaws are used for clamping or assembling parts which generally consist of two jaws mounted on a support part serving as a guide, part along which can slide at least one of these jaws so as to be able to adjust their spacing according to the size of the part to be clamped or the parts to be assembled and / or held in position. Many devices such as notching, ratchet, screw, spring, hydraulic or the like are provided to maintain the relative position of the jaws and / or to exert pressure on the part or parts to be clamped or assembled . Reference may be made, for example, to French patents No. 1,214,695, 2,223,786, 2,347,156 and 1,368,244, to United States patents No. 230,432, 669,282, 1,424,034, 3,151,897, 3,044 .512, 3.218.058 and 4.202.540, and to utility models from the Federal Republic of Germany N β 1871373 and G.8111072.3.
Le dispositif représenté sur la figure 4 de ce brevet européen comprend:Reference will also be made to European patent EP 080 960, which corresponds to a prior request from the inventor, and which describes devices with orientable jaws, adaptable to any support to ensure stable clamping, assembly, spacing or holding pieces of any shape and size. The device represented in FIG. 4 of this European patent comprises:
A helical compression spring, guided around a second cylindrical piece called guide piece, connecting, parallel to the support piece, one of the ends of the second movable arm to a second jaw element. This is mounted idly at one end of said guide part and the other end of this crosses the end of the second movable arm in a sliding manner so as to be retained on the other side, by a pin, a pin, a clip or a key.
Dans le brevet américain, un ressort hélicoïdal (g") appuie seulement sur la partie centrale de l'élément de mâchoire (h) qui n'apparaît ό •One of the interesting characteristics of this device shown in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960 is the synergy which exists between the second jaw element and the helical spring. It bears directly and evenly around the entire periphery of said second jaw element, elastically maintaining the bearing face (to be affixed to the gripping surface of the objects to be gripped) thereof in the direction of the face d support of the other jaw element. Thus these bearing faces remain parallel to each other and allow free passage between them for the insertion of objects to be clamped. In addition, once these objects are gripped, said spring still allows said second jaw element to tilt, by providing an elastic resistance, to compensate for any small defect in parallelism between the gripping surfaces of said objects and the movable arms. Such a characteristic is absent on the prior devices, such as described for example in American patent N ° 230,432 and the West German utility model N ° 1871373. In the American patent, a helical spring (g ") presses only on the central part of the jaw element (h) which does not appear ό •
In West German utility model No. 1871373, although said second jaw member (5) is pivotally mounted on the end of the guide piece (4) of the helical spring (6), it is separated from said spring by a ring (7) which retains the spring. Consequently, this jaw element (5) can tilt and come into unnecessary use across the passage reserved for the objects to be enclosed.
Another attraction of the device shown in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960 is that the user can feel at the fingertips, during the tightening operation, the exact force to which the enclosed objects are subjected. When the force of the coil spring (7) is less than the force of the hands of an average man, the removable handle (8-9-12) can be removed (by temporarily erasing the pin (13)). The operation of this handle can in fact be replaced by a simple pressure action of the hands on the back of the movable arms (1) and (6), along the support piece (2), in the direction of the objects to be clamped. By reaction and parallelism, the force exerted by the user on the back of the movable arms (1) and (6) is transferred entirely between the jaw elements (1) and (1a). By reciprocity, the user feels against his hands what the enclosed objects feel. It is as if it touched them directly from the point of view of sensation, but with the advantage that when it stops pressing the clamping holds, because the movable arms (1) and (6) are then blocked automatically by tilting against the support piece (2), like the lift poles against their cable. On the other hand, if the user really touched said objects directly, at the precise moment when he stopped pressing (for example, out of weariness), the tightening of these objects would obviously cease immediately. For the professionals and amateurs of delicate works (restorers of works of art, model makers, modellers, electronics engineers, etc.) who know, from experience, how much they can with their hands clasp without bruising the objects they have to maintain, this ability to be able to control with the fingertips the force applied by the clamping tool is of course very interesting. To loosen, it suffices- to pull on the movable arms by the end opposite to that which the spring takes as support, parallel to the support part and in the direction which goes away from the enclosed objects. It is to allow this pulling action that the movable arms (1) and (6) extend clearly beyond the support part, opposite the end against which the spring bears, in other words have tails. This other attraction of the device represented in FIG. 4 of the European patent EP 080 960 is also lacking in the prior devices, as described in the American patent N ° 230.432 and the West German utility model N ° 1871373. It is downright unexpected therein. . In the American patent, the movable arms (f) and (k) are devoid of tails. In the West German utility model, the handle (9) which is used to compress the coil spring (6) appears to be irremovable, because it is retained both on the fixed arm (1) and on the guide part (4) by pins crimped.
Obviously, the two properties, previously mentioned for the device represented in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960, remain valid when the two movable arms (1) and (6) are turned over on the support part (2), that is to say when using the device as a retractor.
Cependant, un tel dispositif souffre d'un certain nombre d'handicaps.However, such a device suffers from a number of disabilities.
First of all, the guide part can skew in the passage through which it crosses the second movable arm, in the latitude of the game necessary for its slide ent in said passage. This leads the second jaw element to shift laterally relative to the first jaw element, which can be annoying during a clamping operation.
Le coût de ces accessoires et de la réalisation de ce passage renforcent évidemment le prix de revient du dispositif et également son poids.- Then, the use of a helical spring as a means of elastic compression implies the use of several accessories such as a second jaw element (1a) (in addition to the movable arm (6)), a guide piece (2a ) and a pin (13), and to provide a passage for the guide part in said movable arm. The cost of these accessories and of making this passage obviously increases the cost price of the device and also its weight.
It seems that only a considerable force of tightening, at the risk of marking if not crushing the enclosed objects, can make it possible to prevent this pivoting. Such a defect raises doubts about the ability of these devices to maintain when the clamping force is moderate (since they are not able to maintain themselves).
3. SOMMAIRE DE L'INVENTION3. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention consists, with regard to the device shown in Figure 4 of European Patent EP 080 960, to replace with a single part the assembly consisting of the spring, its guide part, means for retaining and sliding the latter and the second jaw member. This single piece is a substantially elastic pad, one of the faces of which rests on said movable arm and the opposite face of which is called the bearing face and is to be applied against the objects to be enclosed. We will see later that this replacement avoids any loss of function and creates new ones. Said pad is composed of a material substantially elastic such as natural or synthetic rubber, foam plastic, cotton. It can have a solid or spongy structure. It can also consist of a hollow flat box with thin walls of wood, hard plastic or metal, which have the property of straightening when the pressure exerted on them is reduced. Said bearing face is substantially flat or slightly in a bowl and its base is essentially orthogonal to said support piece. Said pad can take the form of a glued washer, a shutter fixed by a pin or a ring threaded on said movable arm at a distance from said support piece.
Autrement dit, un dispositif de serrage équipé selon la présente invention comprend:In other words, a clamping device equipped according to the present invention comprises:
- une pièce support cylindrique, telle qu'une tige ou un tube, pas forcément de section circulaire,- a cylindrical support piece, such as a rod or a tube, not necessarily of circular section,
- au moins deux bras mobiles capables de glisser le long et de prendre plusieurs orientations autour de ladite pièce support et s 'étendant chacun nettement de part et d'autre de celle-ci dans une direction essentiellement orthogonale, au moins un tampon substantiellement élastique, lequel tampon, d'une part, est fixé sur un des bras à distance de ladite pièce support et, d'autre part, présente à l 'opposé du bras sur lequel il est fixé, une face d'appui, dont l'assiette est essentiellement orthogonale à la pièce support.at least two movable arms capable of sliding along and taking several orientations around said support piece and each extending clearly on either side of it in an essentially orthogonal direction, at least one substantially elastic pad, which pad, on the one hand, is fixed on one of the arms at a distance from said support piece and, on the other hand, has opposite to the arm on which it is fixed, a bearing face, including the plate is essentially orthogonal to the support part.
This amounts to saying that the invention can be conceived as a global production process comprising the following steps: a. supply of a cylindrical support part, such as a rod or a tube, not necessarily of circular section, b. mounting on said support part of at least two mobile arms capable of sliding along and taking several orientations around it, each of said movable arms extending clearly on either side of said support part in an essentially orthogonal direction, c. equipping at least one of said movable arms at a distance from said support part by a substantially elastic pad, the latter having, opposite the arm on which it is fixed, a bearing face, the base of which is essentially orthogonal to the support piece.
A device according to the invention takes the name of "assembler" in the following description.
The clamping operation of an assembler, comprising only two movable arms, consists in pushing these, one towards the other, along the support piece, with the bearing face of the pad of one arm turned towards the other arm, and as soon as there is sufficient resistance to release the thrust. The arms are then blocked by tilting against said support piece like the ski-lift poles on their cable, whether or not there is something facing said buffer. To rule out, the principle is the same. With the movable arms turned over on the support piece, we act in reverse.
The clamping operation is the same when the assembly piece of the assembler is partitioned into several parallel cylindrical elements, on the whole of which slide just two movable arms.
For an assembler which comprises just four movable arms, the first two along the support part being fitted with buffers with the bearing face facing the following two arms, these being fitted with buffers with the bearing face turned in the opposite direction, the tightening operation differs in the approach of the movable arms, but the locking system remains the same. The first two arms are oriented around said support piece according to a V and they are pushed towards the next two, arranged substantially along the same V, roughly the pad of the first arm facing that of the third arm and the pad of the second arm facing that of the fourth arm. As soon as the bearing faces of the pads are in contact with the surfaces of the enclosed objects and sufficient resistance is manifested, it suffices to release the thrust. Such a tightening operation has received the name of "overlap" and such mounting of four movable arms on a cylindrical support part has received that of "overlap" or "super-assembler". The overlap can also be used to spread. The relative position of the arms remains the same, except that they are returned to the support piece. An intermediate configuration between the assembler according to the invention " and the rider or super-assembler consists in using two mobile arms forming a V on one side of the clamping and only one mobile arm on the other. Depending on the relief of the surfaces to be enter, this configuration may prove sufficient.
If, on the free part of the support piece of a rider grabbing the edge of a horizontal workbench or equivalent, a third pair of mobile arms is added, each equipped with a substantially elastic pad to grasp, without damaging, objects to be paint or work with your hands free, you get a third hand called "vertical". If to this third pair of mobile arms, called "server", we add a fourth, a fifth, etc ..., pairs of mobile arms, always mounted on the free part of the support piece, we successively obtain a fourth, a fifth, etc., "vertical" hands.
Another auxiliary hand configuration can be obtained by mounting three pairs of movable arms one behind the other along said support piece, the movable arms of each pair being provided with substantially elastic pads whose bearing faces are turned. towards each other. Both first pairs of movable arms are separately locked by pad-to-pad clamping at one end of the support piece in two orientations differing by a non-zero angle which can be clearly above or below 90 °. Along the remaining part of the support piece, the third pair of movable arms also constitutes a "server" for picking up objects to paint or to work with your hands free. The third hand thus obtained is called, in the remainder of the present application, the third "horizontal" hand because, resting on three feet - the buffers of the first two pairs of movable arms locked at one end of the support piece and the other end of it - it can be installed - anywhere on a roughly horizontal surface. If to this third pair is added a fourth, a fifth, etc., pairs of movable arms, always mounted on the remaining part of the support piece, one obtains successively a fourth, a fifth, etc., "horizontal" hands.
Note: For a firmer grip on one of the auxiliary hands previously considered, a "server" can possibly be replaced by a rider.
Obviously the overlap configurations, vertical and horizontal auxiliary hands can be performed only because of the ability of the movable arms to take several orientations around the support piece.
According to a different mounting, called "star", on said support piece, carrying at least two movable arms, is stowed a coupler capable of grasping, in at least one direction distinct from that of said support piece, another support piece capable of carrying at least one movable arm equipped with a substantially elastic buffer. Such a coupler can consist of a cross-piece as there is in electricity in the form of studs. diversion, or in the navy or in a Mécano type construction set to ensure the crossing of two cables or halyards. It can also consist of a flexible strip of dominoes for electrical mounting which is kept curved, for example, by the way it is stowed on the first of said support pieces. If the direction of the first of said support pieces makes an angle of approximately 90 ° with one of the other support pieces gripped by the coupler, it is possible to grip objects on three sides (T-clamping) or on four sides (clamping cross) between the movable arms carried by these two support parts. And when the coupler is capable of gripping several support pieces in directions all distinct from that of the support piece on which said coupler is stowed, it is possible to enclose objects from multiple sides between the movable arms carried by said support pieces. The tightening obtained is then called star tightening. Obviously said tightening, Tee, cross and star, can be done with movable arms arranged overlapping.
From all of the above, it follows that the assembler according to the invention is versatile and that its general method of use, which makes it possible to hold objects by tightening without damaging them, consists of the following steps: a. enclosing said objects between substantially elastic pads carried by movable arms arranged along one or more cylindrical support pieces and capable of taking several orientations around them, b. apply a push on the back of said arms, in the direction of said objects, along said support pieces and release this push, so as to block each of said arms by tilting against the support piece on which it is disposed, vs. possibly using as support auxiliary objects placed in contact with substantially elastic pads carried by other mobile arms arranged and locked along said support parts.
For all the variants of the assembler which have been considered so far, an additional characteristic can consist in that the ends of the support part are provided with removable end caps of the type clips, jumper, pin, key, pin, or section of flexible cylindrical sheath threaded by light forcing.
Another possible characteristic is that one of said movable arms is replaced by a fixed arm.
4. AVANTAGES DE L'INVENTION4. ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
The first advantage of the invention resides in the fact that the tampon, by its substantial elasticity in the mass and by the capacity of its bearing face to match the contours of the gripping surfaces of the enclosed objects, achieves in one piece all the functions which hitherto fulfilled in synergy, in the device represented in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960, the spring, the guide part, the means for retaining and sliding the latter on its support arm, and the second jaw element:
- tout d'abord, les faces portées par les bras mobiles et qui servent à appuyer sur les objets à enserrer sont naturellement maintenues él astiquement en regard l'une de l'autre pendant la phase d'enserrement; le maintien élastique leur permet en sus de s'incliner pour compenser les défauts éventuels de parallélisme entre les surfaces de saisie desdits objets et les bras mobiles;- first of all, the faces carried by the movable arms and which serve to press on the objects to be clamped are naturally held el astically facing one another during the clamping phase; the elastic retention allows them in addition to tilt to compensate for any defects in parallelism between the gripping surfaces of said objects and the movable arms;
- ensuite, il y a serrage sans écraser et sans abimer: la force de serrage est limitée par l'effacement élastique du tampon contre les points durs; - par ailleurs, grâce à l'élasticité du tampon qui se redétend légèrement, le jeu entre les objets enserrés, jeu que peut créer un séchage de colle, se rattrape automatiquement;- Then, there is clamping without crushing and without damaging: the clamping force is limited by the elastic erasure of the pad against the hard points; - moreover, thanks to the elasticity of the pad which slightly redefines, the play between the enclosed objects, play which a drying of glue can create, is caught up automatically;
- l'élasticité du tampon permet également d'amortir la plupart des chocs et vibrations auxquels peuvent être soumis les objets enserrés par toute action extérieure;- the elasticity of the buffer also makes it possible to absorb most of the shocks and vibrations to which objects enclosed may be subjected by any external action;
- enfin, l'utilisateur peut ressentir au bout de ses doigts, par réaction et parallélisme, lors de la manoeuvre de serrage, la force exacte à laquelle sont soumis les objets enserrés, comme s'il les touchait directement; en effet cette manoeuvre peut se faire en appuyant avec les mains sur le dos desdits bras mobiles, à l'envers desdites faces d'appui; dès que l'utilisateur ressent contre ses mains la force visée de serrage, il lui suffit d'arrêter d'appuyer et les bras mobiles se bloquent automatiquement et instantanément par basculement contre la pièce support, comme les perches d'un remonte-pente sur leur câble.- Finally, the user can feel at the tip of his fingers, by reaction and parallelism, during the tightening operation, the exact force to which the enclosed objects are subjected, as if he were touching them directly; indeed this maneuver can be done by pressing with the hands on the back of said movable arms, upside down of said bearing faces; as soon as the user feels the targeted tightening force against his hands, he just has to stop pressing and the movable arms are locked automatically and instantly by tilting against the support piece, like the poles of a ski lift on their cable.
The second advantage of the invention is that it is free from the defects which have been indicated above with regard to the device represented in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960.
Thus, the unwanted lateral offsets of the face to press on the objects to be clamped, linked to the ability of the guide rod to skew inside the clearance necessary for its sliding through the second movable arm, are eliminated. The pad which has, opposite the movable arm on which it is fixed, a bearing face, the base of which is essentially orthogonal to the support piece, obviously tends, by its substantially elastic nature, to deform only parallel to the support part, all the more if the thrust to which it is subjected is parallel to this part. This means that this bearing face which plays the role of that of the old jaw element tends to move rectly. Of In this way, the tampon creates a new function, in relation to all of the parts it replaces: avoiding the backsliding of the face to be supported by each movable arm on the objects to be gripped, which obviously results in making more safe the tightening operation.
Then, replacing the assembly composed of the spring, of the second jaw element, of the guide rod with its means of retaining and sliding on said second movable arm, with a buffer, obviously leads to lightening, without reducing the force. A saving of weight is always appreciable when it is a question of carrying out a tightening on parts themselves light and fragile which are likely to rock, bend and / or break under an excessive weight, all the more so as such an economy is generally accompanied by a reduction in the manufacturing price. These are clearly new results.
Finally, insofar as the elastic material from which said pad has an adhesion capacity comparable to that of natural or synthetic rubber, the lateral tightening holds indefinitely in a horizontal position, without tilting down around the tightening axis. . It is also a new result.
The third advantage of the invention is to be accompanied by the creation of all new functions: overlapping, which has been presented above and which would have been difficult to achieve with a device of the type shown in FIG. 4 of European patent EP 080 960, because of the tendency to shift from the guide rod of the spring; the third horizontal and vertical hands, generally capable of an arbitrary number of hands; star mounting.
I 4The fourth advantage of the invention is that these new functions generate other new results. I 4
Thus, there is a spectacularly more vigorous and more stable tightening, even on tormented patterns, with the overlap which offers four bearing faces, compared to the tightening carried out with an assembler comprising only two movable arms. When a rider, in the tightening phase, applies a wooden plate against the edge of a table, the angle formed by the V, at which the first two arms and the two following are respectively disposed, approaching 60 °, it is extremely difficult to take off said plate from the table, while each movable arm has been pushed by a single end of the finger during the tightening operation. A hand gripping the plate with all his fingers under the pull of an arm of medium strength is not enough. Furthermore, it appears that it is perfectly possible to achieve stable and effective tightening, even when the bearing faces of the four pads, which equip the rider, apply at different levels on tormented reliefs. This possibility is obviously extremely practical for the restoration of golden objects such as frames or cartridges. With the sub-variant of the rider with three movable arms, two on one side forming a V and one movable arm on the other pressing roughly opposite the middle of the V, it is possible to avoid obstacles preventing clamping by vis-a-vis. Thus, to tighten on its base the foot of a pendulum, this foot having opposite a column on the other side of the base, the buffers of the two movable arms forming the V take hold on either side of the column while the buffer of the opposite movable arm presses on said foot.
L'intérêt des mains auxiliaires selon l'invention par rapport aux mains auxiliaires traditionnelles se situe à plusieurs niveaux:The advantage of the auxiliary hands according to the invention compared to the traditional auxiliary hands is situated on several levels:
First of all, the servers which equip the auxiliary hands according to the invention do not risk with their substantially elastic pads of scratching the parts seized as the crocodile clips of traditional auxiliary hands can do with their teeth.
In addition, unlike crocodile clips, these servers have their jaw elements which can open very widely while remaining parallel to each other.
C'est dire la puissance générique de la combinaison: pièce support cylindrique, bras mobiles et tampons substantiellement él astiques.- Finally, the auxiliary hands according to the invention are much lighter than traditional auxiliary hands, since they do not need a heavy base to maintain balance, even when the servers are loaded. Four of the movable arms mounted on the support piece are sufficient to ensure the seat of the auxiliary hand (see previous summary). In the case of vertical auxiliary hands, they are combined in a rider to grip on the edge of a workbench or table. In the case of horizontal auxiliary hands, the buffers of the first two pairs of movable arms locked by clamping at one end of the support piece produce with the other end thereof a lifting tripod. That is to say the generic power of the combination: cylindrical support piece, movable arms and substantially elastic pads.
With star mounting, it becomes possible to pull the sides of a frame corner towards each other and round objects can be gripped significantly more securely.
The fifth advantage of the invention is that by replacing the assembly consisting of the spring, the second jaw element, the guide rod with its means of retention and sliding on said second movable arm, the buffer constitutes at the same time a wedge of soft material, because substantially elastic. That is to say, it is useless to insert a plate of wood or other soft material between the pad and the gripping surface of the objects to be gripped, to spare it. This is appreciable because the insertion of shims is always an inconvenient operation.
The sixth advantage of the invention is that each movable arm equipped with a pad belonging to an assembler in the clamping or spacing position can support, against its side at the rear of said pad, under various incidences, the support of the buffer carried by one of the mobile arms of a second assembler. This results from both the anti-slip ability and the malleability of the substantially elastic pads. The second assembler can therefore, with the buffer of one of its other movable arms, force, in the clamping or spacing position, on a side of an object devoid of parallel opposite or on one of the buffers of a third assembler, also in the clamping or spacing position. This type of mounting makes it possible to overcome the absence of an easily grasped outline for holding enclosed objects, which is often the case with art objects to be restored. This assembly was until now very difficult to carry out with the traditional clamps because important and quirky wedges, always awkward to install and sometimes long to find, had to be wedged under the jaws. In general, it took more than two hands and squeeze like a bully, and this may be incompatible with the solidity of the objects to be gripped. This assembly becomes elementary, even under low clamping force, with the new assembler, thanks to the substantially elastic pads. It received the name of angle clamping, clamping by stapling or by bridging, according to the number of assemblers that it brings into play. To ensure a better seat, the support assembler can be replaced by a rider.
The seventh advantage of the invention is linked to the modularity of the assemblers which itself results from the mobility of the arms on the cylindrical support part. These can be slid out of their support piece (any end caps of these parts are removable) and installed on another support part, of the same section. Cylindrical support parts of the same section can be fixed in the extension of one another by couplers such as dominoes for electrical assemblies, sleeves for mechanical tubes or cable fittings. It does not matter that the couplers constitute barriers for the mobility of the arms between the different sections of support parts. It suffices to install a mobile arm on each of the two end sections and the opening between these mobile arms is necessarily greater than if these mobile arms were located on only one of the connected support parts. Thus the maximum opening of the assemblers according to the invention becomes easily extendable, which contrasts sharply with traditional clamps where the fixing of one of the jaws at the end of the support piece makes it inconceivable the elongation thereof. Naturally, if, instead of one, several movable arms are placed on each of the end sections of the support parts thus fixed in the extension of one another, all the original arrangements exposed can be produced under a large maximum opening. higher, such as overlap, auxiliary hands, etc. On the other hand, it is also possible to envisage extending a support piece by support pieces of different section, by means of couplers whose inputs admit different diameters, such as dominoes for electrical wires of large section, and thereby opposite the movable arms of different dimensions. Depending on the shapes of the objects seized, such an arrangement can be very useful.
The eighth advantage of the invention is also linked to the mobility of the arms on the cylindrical support part. One of the movable arms of an assembler, comprising just two movable arms fitted with buffers, can be slid to the extreme end of the support piece fl
C'est ce qui caractérise la polyvalence du nouvel assembleur.18 possible end caps are removed ;. 5i an auxiliary bar, such as a ruler or a tool handle, is fixed parallel to a large surface (for example, by means of the servers of two third vertical hands according to the invention gripping the two opposite edges of the large surface), it is possible to press with the buffer of this movable arm, at any point of this surface, along this bar, without said support piece being liable to damage said surface since it does not exceed of said movable arm. As the assembler works as a spreader, it suffices for the buffer of its other mobile arm to buckle against the auxiliary bar. By this assembly which has received the name of "tightening in overlap", the extension or projection of the assembler is made unlimited. The assembler can go to exert pressure at any distance from the edge of a large area, which can be flat, curved, hollow or in tormented relief. It is enough that the auxiliary bar follows the contours of the surface, is sufficiently long and oriented in the right direction. For higher pressure, the two movable arms can be replaced by a rider in the spreading position. Until now, this type of mounting, little known to those skilled in the art, was only possible with a special tool, a spacer very rare in workshops, and shims generally inconvenient to install. With the present invention, this assembly is easily and directly possible with the same assembler as that which allows all the other original assemblies previously described, with the possible addition of movable arms. This is what characterizes the versatility of the new assembler.

COMPOSITION AND MODES OF USE DETAILED OF THE EMBODIMENTS ACCORDING TO THE INVENTION
En se référant aux figures 1 à 8, un outil polyvalent de serrage équipé selon la présente invention comprend donc en combinaison:With reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, a versatile tightening tool equipped according to the present invention therefore comprises in combination:
At least one substantially elastic pad (3), which pad, on the one hand, is fixed on one of the arms (2) at a distance from said support piece (1) and, on the other hand, presents opposite the arm on which it is fixed, a bearing face, the base of which is essentially orthogonal to the support part.
A complement may consist of adding to at least one of the two ends of said support piece, a stopper stopper (4) to prevent the movable arms (2) from being released from said support piece (1) when these are not retained on said part by any action.
Comme il a été dit plus haut, un dispositif selon l'invention a reçu le nom d' "assembleur".As mentioned above, a device according to the invention has received the name of "assembler".
By substantially elastic, it is meant that said pad (3) is composed of a flexible elastic material such as natural or synthetic rubber, foam plastic or cotton, and that its thickness under its bearing face is preferably greater. to the millimeter. It can have a solid or spongy structure. It can also consist of a hollow flat box with thin walls of wood, hard plastic or metal, which have the property of straightening when the pressure is reduced which is exerted on it. Said bearing face is substantially flat or slightly in a bowl and its base is essentially orthogonal to said support piece. For certain applications, said bearing face can nevertheless be curved. Said pad can take the form of a glued washer, a shutter fixed by a pin or a ring threaded on said movable arm at a distance from said support piece. The advantage of a ring, compared to a washer or a shutter, to constitute the buffer is that said ring can be fixed alone on said arm without requiring bonding or orifice formed in said arm. It suffices that its internal dimensions are slightly less than or equal to those of the external dimensions of said arm at the place where it is to be fixed, in order to be able to be force-fitted onto the arm at this location and to remain locked there.
According to another embodiment, the buffer (3) is produced by a stack of substantially elastic washers, in the manner of springs composed of "Belleville" washers; in a first type of sub-embodiment, the washers are glued to the tail leu leu; in a second type of sub-embodiment, the washers are perforated and threaded, also at the tail leu leu, by forcing slightly, on a second cylindrical part parallel to said support part. Opposite the bearing face of said pad, said second cylindrical piece slides in a passage formed on the support arm of said pad, and is retained beyond this passage by a stopper stopper, similar to that which can be fitted the ends of said support piece (1).
One of said means for allowing one of said movable arms (2) to slide along said support piece (1) consists of the provision of a through hole, the shape of which in internal section envelops in a small clearance close to the shape of the external section of said support piece (1). But such a way can also consist of a stirrup attached to the side of said arm (2), said stirrup forming a loop; another possibility is to form said through hole by making each of said straight arms (2) by assembling side by side two half-arms each provided, in the direction of their thickness, with a cylindrical groove provided with a section in half-moon, the hollow of the groove of one half-arm facing the hollow of the groove of the other half-arm for assembly; a similar possibility is to provide on the flank of each entire arm, in the direction of its thickness, a cylindrical groove and to close it 1ongitudinally with a plate; one can also consider having a tenon portion of said arms wrapped by a hollow rail forming said support piece.
In the case of FIGS. 1 to 8, each end-stopper (4) is constituted by a section of flexible tubular sheath whose diameter is slightly less than the average diameter of said support piece (1). Said section is threaded by light forcing at the end of said rod. Such end caps (4) can also consist of clips, jumpers, pins, keys or pins. However, compared to the latter means, using flexible sheath to be forced into a tube is a particularly economical means, since it makes it possible to avoid any machining of the support rod or tool to manufacture said end caps, which inevitably happens if the said rod has a non-standard section. Such a sheath is commonly found, because few constraints are required, barring exceptions, especially on the thermal side or on the aggressive side of the ambient environment. Only a diameter slightly smaller than the average diameter of the support rod and good conservation of elasticity over time are required, under ordinary environmental conditions. Can do flexible PVC, polyethylene tubes medium or low density, silicone, natural or synthetic rubber.
A single substantially elastic tampon (3) is used. It consists of a washer adhering to its movable arm (2) carrying, by gluing or by pin penetrated by force into an orifice formed in said arm (2).
In the case of FIG. 2, still with an assembler according to the invention comprising just two movable arms (2), two substantially elastic pads (3), one per arm, are used. They each consist of a washer adhering to its carrying arm (2), by gluing or by pin penetrated by force into an orifice formed in said arm (2).
In the case of FIG. 3, also with an assembler according to the invention comprising just two movable arms (2), two substantially elastic pads (3), one per arm, are also used. But they each consist of a rubber ring or other equivalent plastic material or cellular structure, threaded in force on its support arm (2).
According to FIG. 4, to perform a tightening with an assembler according to the invention comprising just two movable arms, it suffices to:
- amener l'ensemble des objets (8-9), à enserrer, entre les bras (2) de l'outil, en regard des faces d'appui des tampons substantiellement élastiques (3); appuyer avec les doigts ou la paume de la main sur le dos des bras, à l'opposé desdites faces d'appui, le long de la pièce support (1), en direction desdits objets (8-9); les bras (2) coulissent alors le long de ladite pièce support; dès que lesdites faces d'appui touchent les surfaces de saisie desdits objets (8-9), les doigts perçoivent une résistance, celle des objets, comme s'ils appuyaient directement sur lesdits objets; - continuer à appuyer sur le dos des bras (2) en augmentant la pression pour comprimer les tampons;- bringing all the objects (8-9), to be clamped, between the arms (2) of the tool, facing the bearing faces of the substantially elastic pads (3); press with the fingers or the palm of the hand on the back of the arms, opposite said bearing faces, along the support piece (1), in the direction of said objects (8-9); the arms (2) then slide along said support piece; as soon as said bearing faces touch the gripping surfaces of said objects (8-9), the fingers perceive a resistance, that of the objects, as if they pressed directly on said objects; - continue to press on the back of the arms (2) by increasing the pressure to compress the pads;
- dès que la main ressent avoir atteint la force qui suffit à serrer convenablement lesdits objets l'un contre l'autre, arrêter d'appuyer; les bras mobiles (2) se bloquent alors automatiquement et instantanément contre la pièce support, par basculement, comme les perches d'un remonte-pente sur leur câble.- as soon as the hand feels that it has reached the force sufficient to properly tighten said objects against each other, stop pressing; the movable arms (2) then lock automatically and instantly against the support part, by tilting, like the poles of a ski lift on their cable.
It should be noted that an assembler equipped according to the invention behaves like a real relay of the human hand or hands (in the sense of relaying), for the accomplishment of a task, such as tightening. It can indeed hold indefinitely a clamping position under the same effort that the hand or hands can hold temporarily.
A simple push on the part of the "belly" of said arms (2) located on the other side of the support piece (1) relative to the objects (8-9), is sufficient to unlock said arms (2) and to release tightening all objects.
The spacing assembly, with an assembler according to the invention comprising just two movable arms (2), operates in a similar manner. However, it is first necessary to turn the arms over said support piece, so as to present the bearing faces of said pads outwards. The objects to be removed are first brought to either side of the movable arms (2) of the tool, facing the bearing faces of the pads (3). The following operations are then identical to the operation of the tightening from the moment when the fingers or the palm of the hand begin to press on the back of said arms, except that the force to be perceived manually is that with which one wishes to spread.
In FIG. 5 is shown a variant of the assembler comprising four movable arms, the first two (2a) and (2b) along the support piece (1) being fitted with substantially elastic pads. (3) with the bearing face facing the following two arms (2c) and (2d), these being fitted with substantially elastic pads with the bearing face facing in the opposite direction. The first two arms (2a) and (2b) are oriented around said support piece according to a V and they are opposite to the next two arms (2c) and (2d), arranged substantially according to the same V. Basically the buffer (3 ) of the first arm (2a) faces that of the third arm (2c) and the pad of the second arm (2b) faces that of the fourth arm (2d). As has been said above, such a configuration has received the name of "rider" or "super-assembler" and the tightening operation which consists in bringing the two Vs together that of overlap. It suffices to press on the back of the movable arms, along said support piece (1), in the direction of the enclosed objects. As soon as the bearing faces of the pads are in contact with the surfaces of the enclosed objects and sufficient resistance is manifested, it is sufficient to release the thrust to obtain the tight blocking of said movable arms against said objects, always by tilting against the workpiece. support. The overlap can also be used to spread. The relative position of the arms remains the same, except that they are returned to the support piece. An intermediate configuration between the assembler according to the invention and the rider or super-assembler consists in using two mobile arms forming a V on one side of the clamping and only one mobile arm on the other. Depending on the relief of the surfaces to be captured, this configuration may prove to be sufficient.
In the case of Figure 6, it has been added to the free part of the support part (1) of a rider composed of the two pairs of movable arms (2a) - (2b) and (2c) - (2d) grabbing the edge of a horizontal workbench or equivalent, a third pair of movable arms (2e) - (2f), called "server", each of these arms being equipped with a substantially elastic pad (3), to grab objects to paint or to work with your hands free. Such a configuration corresponds to what has been called above, "third vertical hand". A server is used as an assembler with two movable arms for the tightening and spacing operations.
Figure 7 shows another auxiliary hand configuration: a fourth hand called "horizontal". It is composed of four pairs of movable arms (2a) - (2b), (2c ;-( 2d), (2e) - (2f), (2g) - (2h), mounted one behind the other on along said support piece. The movable arms of each pair are fitted with substantially elastic pads (3) whose bearing faces are turned towards each other. The first two pairs of movable arms (2a) - (2b ) and (2c) - (2d) are separately blocked by clamping buffer against buffer at one end of the support piece in two orientations differing by an angle close to 70 °. Along the remaining part of the support piece, the third pair (2e) - (2f) and the fourth pair (2g) - (2h) of movable arms constitute "servers" to grab objects to paint or to work hands free. The pads of the first two pairs of movable arms ( 2a) - (2b) and (2c) - (2d) blocked at one end of the support piece and the other end of it obviously forms a tripod. Each server can be used separately as an assembler with two movable arms for tightening and spacing operations.
Note: For a firmer grip on the auxiliary hands shown, each "server" can possibly be replaced by a rider.
In FIG. 8 is shown a "star" arrangement. On the support piece (1) of a sizing device according to the invention, is stowed as a coupler, a flexible bar (5) of dominoes for electrical assemblies which has been curved. Said support part (1) carries two movable arms (2a) - (2b), both fitted with substantially elastic pads (3). Said bar (5) is curved because it is stowed on said support piece (1) by two studs (6) and (6a) normally spaced apart which have been brought together by twisting the bar in its mean plane . The screws of these studs are tightened on the support part (1), that is to say that they are blocked on the latter. The stud (7) of the bar grips, still by screwing on it, another cylindrical support part (1a) on which are installed two other mobile bra ~ (2c) and (2d), both equipped with substantially elastic pads. The direction of the first support part (1) makes an angle of about 90 ° with that of the other support part (1a). The tightening operation for each pair of movable arms (2a) - (2b) and (2c) - (2d) is identical to that which is practiced for an assembler according to the invention with two movable arms. It is thus possible to enclose objects on four sides, as shown in Figure 8, between the movable arms carried by these two support parts. The tightening ot: enu is called cross tightening. It would obviously also be possible, with additional cylindrical support parts gripped by other studs of the bar, each carrying at least one other movable arm, to enclose objects from multiple sides, which corresponds to star tightening. Similarly, it is possible to stow on the second support piece (1a), another coupler gripping a third cylindrical support piece (1b) in a direction distinct from those of the first two support pieces, and possibly to stow on this third support piece yet another coupler, and so on to carry out a star assembly in chain. Such a chain configuration can be useful for enclosing the contours of objects of complicated shape. Another model of coupler may consist of a spider comprising two or more channels which are divergent from each other and capable of holding the prisoner each by a screwing or other system, a rod or tube type support piece. This kind of spider exists in electricity in the form of bypass studs. Crossbars are also used in the navy and in construction sets of the Mechanic type to ensure the crossing of two cables or halyards. There are also sheet metal or plastic to enclose electrical junction boxes. The bar, as a coupler, can also be replaced by the forced hollow-on-hollow juxtaposition, in different orientations, of several profiles in the form of gutters similar to those which are used for the construction of exhibition stands or displays.
In all the variants of the assembler according to the invention which have been so far, it is obviously always possible to replace one of said movable arms (2) with a fixed arm.
According to a possible embodiment of the assembler comprising just two movable arms (2), the support part (1) is subdivided into several parallel cylindrical elements, which in fact constitute as many homogeneous parallel support parts. Said elements are made integral with each other at each of their ends by couplers which can be domino bars for electrical assemblies or equivalent when said elements have very similar diameters. At least one of the two said arms is sliding on these elements, the other being able to remain fixed on these elements. The two arms have a wide bearing face. In a first type of sub-embodiment, the substantially elastic pad (3) carried by one or each of the two arms is made in one piece; in a second type of sub-embodiment, the substantially elastic tampon which one or each of the two arms carries is divided into several pieces; in this case, said pieces are located at the same distance from the mean plane in which the various cylindrical elements that make up are located said support piece; said pieces can be left free to act independently of one another or be sandwiched between the arm which carries them and a rigid connecting plate intended to play the role of jaws vis-à-vis the enclosed objects. It turns out that the sandwich configuration with several pieces of elastic buffer taken in parallel between the arm which carries them and a rigid plate, clings, with equal compression force, much more firmly the ens -.- res objects than the unique buffer conformation. This obviously implies a synergistic effect. In the second type of sub-embodiment, when the tampon is split into several pieces, the arm can itself be partitioned into several blocks each resting on one or more of said elements forming the support piece. And as said elements constitute as many parallel support parts, everything happens as if there were several assemblers according to the invention coupled in parallel to constitute a multipoint vice.
Il est à noter en outre que le dispositif selon l'invention peut trouver des applications multiples telles que la fixation d'appareils sur un -support lorsque ledit appareil est rendu solidaire de l'un ou constitue l'un desdits brasIt should also be noted that the device according to the invention can find multiple applications such as the attachment of devices to a support when said device is made integral with one or constitutes one of said arms.
It goes without saying that the present invention has been described and illustrated for purely explanatory and in no way limitative and that any variant may be incorporated without departing from its scope.
