Abstract

Claims (3)

  1. A security device for holding detachable pins designed to fasten a series of publications inside a binder, comprising a base strip (8) which can be fixed to the internal face of the spine of the binder, having a projecting part in which perforations (9) are made, characterised by the fact that a certain number of pins (6) are provided on stalks (7) capable of being detached easily from the strip (8), having been obtained with the latter by moulding, the pins (6) being detachable from the stalks (7) with the intention of inserting them into the perforations (9) in the desired positions, thus making it possible, in conjunction with a second similar strip fixed to the opposite end of the spine of the binder, to fasten in a secure manner a series of publications to be kept in the said binder.
  2. A security device according to claim 1 characterised by the fact that a suitably designed abutment (10) joined to the strip (8) can be folded over through 90° by the user to cover the heads of greatest diameter of the pins (6) and become fastened by an appropriate tab (11) in a recess (12) provided in the projecting part of the strip (8) in order to ensure that the said pins (6) inserted in the perforations (9) do not come out once the sections of the publication to be kept in the binder have been inserted on the said pins.
  3. A security device according to claims 1 and 2, characterised by the fact that two holes (4 and 5) are made in the base strips (8), permitting the strips (8) to be screwed to the internal face of the spine of the binder, it being noted however that this fixture can also be obtained by simple gluing on to the spine, if the user prefers.
