Abstract

The device proposed for the continuous treatment of a textile fabric web comprises one or more applicators, by means of which one or more treatment liquors are applied to the web (10). The web subsequently has an elevated total moisture content in the range of 100-220 % of the dry weight of the fabric. The web (10) passes, with the absorbed liquors, into a tower-like structure containing the heating zone (26) of a steamer box (30), in which the fabric follows a multiplicity of horizontal loops.

Description

The invention relates to a continuous system for the treatment of textile webs.

A two-stage application process and a corresponding system are known from DE 37 33 997. An essential feature of this type of two-stage fleet order is the ability to put more liquid on the train, i.e. To achieve moisture contents (liquid weight in relation to the weight of the dry goods provided with them) which are far above those which can be achieved with devices which work with squeezing devices, if these still have a uniform line pressure and prevent the web from slipping through the pressing pressure. The additional liquid is only applied in the second application device, but is not exchanged for the amount of liquid applied in the first application device. So it is a pure addition impregnation.

In DE-OS 37 33 997 the question of how such a heavily loaded material web is to be guided in the damper in order to prevent the liquid from draining or dripping is left open.

The invention is based on the object of producing a system in which a material web heavily loaded with treatment liquor is produced, To be designed in such a way that a proper treatment process is ensured in the damper.

This object is achieved by the invention reproduced in claim 1.

Due to the fact that the web is guided in horizontal loops in the damper's heating zone, the liquid runs down and the associated unevenness in the liquid occupancy of the material web is avoided, as would occur in the vertical sections of the otherwise usual material web guidance in the damper. The plentifully applied treatment liquor can penetrate into the web in the dwell section formed by the number of horizontal loops. An important aspect of the invention is that the liquid carried when the web runs towards a deflection roller on the side of the web facing this side is drawn into the gusset between the web and this deflection roller and pressed into the web. This promotes the mixing of possibly existing treatment fleets and also the penetration of the treatment fleets into the web and the interaction with the same that extends to the depth of the web. The heating zone therefore has not only a temperature increase function, but also a penetration and reaction function. At the end of the heating zone formed by the horizontal loops, the treatment liquor applied last has been pushed into the web and the risk of draining or dripping, which leads to local irregularities, is no longer so great. The further path guidance in the damper can therefore in principle take place in the usual way, although special path guidance is preferred for certain treatments, as will be explained.

The management of a web in horizontal loops is known per se from DE-AS 17 10 477. However, this is about a wide finishing process, not about the heating zone of the formation of the heating zone of a damper. Such a guide can also be found in a damper from DE-A 2908345, but not as an inlet zone and not in connection with a liquid application. The same applies to US-A 4873846, where practically the entire guide path in the damper is in horizontal loops.

With the FL-A 1181404, the web runs in upright loops through a container with a large supply of bleaching liquor. After passing through a vertical heating zone, the web is placed in folds in a J-box in order to remain there, i.e. there is neither a guide nor a steam atmosphere.

Likewise, the feature of retracting into a damper after a liquid application and guiding the web horizontally there can be found in DE-AS 22 16 758. Here, however, there is only a one-stage and one-sided application of a patterning agent and the web is only guided on a horizontal route, but not in many horizontal loops lying one above the other.

The continuation of the web in the heating zone of the steamer is adapted to the order of the treatment liquors. The material web is soaked and squeezed with the treatment liquor, whereupon an application is made from both sides to a further treatment liquor, which therefore sits on the outside of the web and with which the treatment liquor already present results in a very high total moisture. The damper ensures that the treatment liquors mix and act and at the same time cannot run down or drip down the web.

The deflecting rollers of a group are arranged vertically one above the other, the arrangement allowing the formation of a slight slope and also resulting in a low overall height or in the available height of the damper for accommodating many deflecting rollers.

The deflecting roller arrangement is intended to form a narrow, high tower in the initial region of the damper, which, with the small space requirement characterized by claim 2, includes a quite considerable horizontal dwell path with many deflections.

The high total liquor application of 100 to 220% possible due to the nature of the second application device in both the method and the system according to claims 2 and 8, which is practically manageable due to the inventive design of the heating zone of the steamer, allows a single-stage NaOH to be carried out / Peroxide bleach, in which NaOH and peroxide are applied in a treatment liquor with a correspondingly high degree of water mobility. A brewing stage upstream of the bleaching process can be saved in many cases. This is achieved by combining a pre-wash in a liquor skid with controlled squeezing, by applying a multi-component bleaching liquor with subsequent wiping to a uniform, very high final moisture level and a damper with heating zones with horizontal loops.

The fabric web 10, which consists entirely or largely of cotton fabric, bears impurities such as shells, waxes and fats and also the size, which are introduced with the cotton after production. These substances, which are brought in in an uncontrolled manner, catalyze peroxide decomposition in the case of peroxide bleaching, so that the bleaching process is destabilized. It is therefore necessary to remove these substances as thoroughly as possible before the actual bleaching process.

For this reason, the web 10, after unwinding from the roll, not shown, undergoes an intensive washing process at high temperatures in a plurality of liquor skids, of which the end region of the last liquor skid 1 can be seen on the left-hand side of FIG. 1. The fleet runner 1 forms a first application device in which one first treatment liquor in the form of the washing liquor 2 is applied to the web 10.

After leaving the fleet runner 1, the web 10 is defined in a squeezer 3 and squeezed evenly across the width to a residual moisture content of about 70%. In the area of the crushing unit 3, the temperature of the web 10 is still approximately 95 ° C., as can be seen from the enlarged illustration in FIG. 2.

After leaving the crushing unit 3 and passing through a dancer roller or pendulum roller arrangement 4 which serves to control the preferred speed of the material web, the material web 10 arrives in a second application device 5 of a special type (FIG. 2), in the area of which it is arranged above deflecting rollers 6 arranged one above the other. 7 is guided vertically from top to bottom in a section 10 '. In section 10 ', the web 10 passes through a gap 8 which is formed at the lower end of an upright, narrow trough 9 which extends approximately across the web width and is approximately V-shaped in vertical section. The walls 11, 12 approaching one another from top to bottom have, at the lower end, horizontally transverse chambers 13, 14 which extend across the width of the web and in which are arranged inflatable tubes 15, 16 which abut the web 10 from both sides and the gap 8 close down so that the second treatment liquor 17, which is in the trough 9 up to a relatively low filling level h of 20 to 25 cm, cannot flow down through the gap 8.

The fabric web 10 passes through the treatment liquor 17 from top to bottom and is stripped on both sides by the hoses 15, 16, so that it takes along a relatively large, evenly applied amount of the treatment liquor 17 in addition to the residual moisture of the treatment liquor 2 remaining in the web .

The treatment liquor is fed into the trough 9 by a large number of arc tubes 18 distributed over the width of the product web 10, which are fed from common supply tubes 19 extending across the web width and deliver the liquid to drain plates 20, from the lower edge of which they enter the trough 9 expires. The feed pipes 19 are fed via a controllable valve 21 from storage containers 22, 23 arranged above the application device 5, which can contain, for example, sodium hydroxide solution and peroxide solution in the exemplary embodiment in which a bleaching liquor is applied. The ratio is set on the valves 24, 25.

In the trough 9 there is only a relatively small amount of liquid of a total of a few liters, which only lasts for a few meters of web length and is constantly replenished in accordance with the consumption. The components of the treatment liquor 17 in the storage containers 22, 23 are therefore only brought together on the web 10 immediately before the order and then immediately brought to the web 10. There can also be no depletion of components in the trough 9 because the entire fleet is always replaced in a few seconds. These are advantages over a fleet runner, in which depletion of the fleet due to the constantly dragged-out portions can only be counteracted with a great deal of effort and, in particular in the case of bleaching liquors, due to the long time different chemicals have been in contact with each other, e.g. partial decomposition e.g. of the peroxide cannot be excluded.

After leaving the application device 5, the material web is fully loaded with the residual moisture of the treatment liquor 2 and also on both sides with the additionally applied amount of the treatment liquor 17. With an additional application of about 80% total moisture values of about 150%, which lie at the limit of the moisture absorption capacity of the goods. The large amount of moisture forms an ideal liquid supply for the course of the bleaching process, but requires special treatment in the subsequent steamer 30, which has a tower-like heating zone 26, into which the web 10 runs from below. The heating zone comprises two groups 27, 28 of mutually identical, parallel, horizontal, vertically one above the other deflection rollers 29, over which the web 10 is zigzag in essentially horizontal loops 40 from bottom to top. The vertical distance d between two vertically arranged deflection rollers 29 is smaller than the diameter D of a deflection roller 29. In addition, the axes of the deflection rollers 29 of one group, for example 28, are centered in height on the axes of the deflection rollers 29 of the other groups, for example 27 , arranged. This results in the web guide shown in FIG. 3, in which the straight web sections 10 ″ between the deflecting rollers 29 have a slight slope, which is indicated in FIG. 3 by the angle 31, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is 7 ° and about 5 can be up to 10 °. In front of the deflection rollers 29, to which the web sections 10 "run, small beads 32 of treatment liquor form, which are pressed into the web 10 during the circulation around the deflection roller 29 there, whereby penetration of the entire web with the in the application device 5 externally applied treatment liquor 17 takes place. Due to the predominantly essentially horizontal routing of goods in the heating zone 26, a running down of the relatively large amount of liquor on the web and dripping phenomena are avoided, which can otherwise lead to irregularities in the loss of treatment.

After leaving the heating zone 26, the web 10 enters the actual damper 33. About one to control the preferred speed compensator 34 with dancer roller, the web 10 is, if desired, guided over a dwell path, not shown, with vertical loops. Then or immediately after the heating zone 26, it is transported horizontally on a transport device 50 over a dwell path in folds. It arrives at a table 35, which deposits the web 10 in uniform folds 36 on the top of a rotating drum 37, which takes the fold package with it, turns it in an orderly manner, and deposits it on a horizontal conveyor 38 tangentially departing from the bottom of the drum 37, on which the web 10 covers the dwell in the folded position. A resiliently tensioned band 39 on the side of the drum 37 prevents the fold package from falling down. At the end of the horizontal conveyor 38, not shown, the fold package is pulled apart again. The laundry is then carried out.
