Description

The present invention relates to a mobile construction deployable between a first storage and transport configuration and a second configuration of use.

The arrangement of stands, halls or exhibition spaces, marquees for receptions, etc., on a temporary basis is most often achieved by the assembly on site of various constituents of a structure (uprights, posts, sleepers , tarpaulins ...), and the installation inside the space thus made up of a floor. This construction involves a large number of assembly operations, or even prior preparation of the land, therefore, a large workforce with appropriate tools. The assembly means include certain removable parts and require frequent verification to replace the elements which inevitably get lost during the various assemblies and disassembly of these structures.

We have already proposed, to facilitate the creation of these temporary constructions, deployable structures, in particular in the form of a tent opening like a fan. These structures have given full satisfaction for certain use cases, but due to their design, they do not integrate all the amenities and all the accessories that one needs to for example create a lighted exhibition hall, if necessary can be heated and has an elegant appearance.

By the present invention, it is intended to satisfy the need which exists to have elegant temporary buildings and offering all the conveniences of comfort and use, in particular as regards available energy, by proposing a mobile construction which can be deployed and folded quickly and in a manner fully automatic.

According to the invention, this mobile construction can be deployed between a first storage and transport configuration, in the form of a rectangular box and a second configuration of use delimited by at least one floor, two side walls, and a cover. It is of course foldable from the second to the first configuration. To obtain this result, this construction comprises a rectangular base panel forming the bottom of the box and the central part of the floor, two side panels of the same length as the base panel, each being hinged to one of the long edges of the panel. base and forming the lateral sides of the box and two intermediate flaps of the floor, two structures each comprising two panels perpendicular to each other, one of these panels being of width substantially equal to the half-width of the base panel hinged to the free edge of the corresponding side panel, forming an upper half-wall of the box and an end flap of the floor, the other panel being of width substantially equal to that of the side panels, housed inside the box and forming a side wall of the building.

The basic framework of the construction according to the invention as defined above allows folding in the form of a parallelepiped box whose width does not exceed the width of the road gauge and whose length can be adapted to the length commonly used in road transport (eg 12 meters). The construction, in its folded state, is of the container type which can be transported on a platform.

Preferably, the construction according to the invention comprises at each end of the base panel, outside the volume swept by the pivoting of the other panels, a frame perpendicular to this base panel whose contour corresponds to the exterior contour of the box . In one embodiment, an ridge beam parallel to the base panel is mounted at the end of two pivoting arms articulated on each of the frames around an axis perpendicular to the latter.

In this case, a tarpaulin forming the cover of the deployed construction is coupled to the free edge of the structure with perpendicular panels and this ridge beam, and preferably these ridge beams because the construction will include two parallel ones each pivotally mounted on one of the amounts of the aforementioned frames, form the support of the covering sheet in the central part thereof which is by these beams even raised and stretched. A double slope cover is thus formed, which is advantageous for the flow of rainwater.

In another embodiment, the construction comprises an upper panel which forms a cover of the box in the folded state of the construction and upper cover part in the deployed state of the latter, this panel being movably coupled vertically to each of the end frames which the construction has, for example by means of elevating cylinders housed in the vertical uprights of these frames, a tarpaulin extending between each of the longitudinal edges of this upper panel and the free edge of each structure with perpendicular panels.

The cover that forms the cover of this construction is during the folding housed inside the box as well as the side walls of the construction which are thus protected during storage and transport. This is advantageous because the tarpaulin and the side walls are the most fragile parts of the construction, the tarpaulin by its very material and the side walls because they can include bay windows or even be made entirely of panels. of ice.

The frames disposed at the end of the construction may constitute door frames, but, preferably, each of them is extended outwards by a fixed end box whose cross section is at most equal to that of the section of the construction in the folded state, one of these boxes being closed and constituting a technical room sheltering various devices and in particular the energy source (for example a generator) the other box being either limited to peripheral panels forming an access mouth inside the deployed structure, or made up of these panels and door leaves.

Also preferably, the construction of the invention comprises, in the thickness of the panels, motor means for controlling their relative pivoting during deployment and folding. These drive means will be constituted by hydraulic cylinders supplied by a pressurized fluid power station arranged for example in the technical room.

Finally, to allow the loading and unloading of the construction in its folded state on or from a transport platform, the base panel equipped with these frames, is provided with telescopic legs extending parallel to the uprights of each frame. These telescopic legs will be coupled to the base panel and the uprights of the frames by a pivoting arm allowing them to pass from a service position outside the width of the base panel, therefore from the box to a storage position at the inside this width, for example along each of the fixed end boxes of the construction.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will emerge from the description of two embodiments of the invention given below by way of example.

As shown in Figures 1 to 4, the mobile construction of the invention comprises a base panel 1 whose framework is for example in mechanically welded construction and which can be coated on its upper face with any suitable facing (textile, wood ...). This panel 1 has side members 2 which project under its underside so as to constitute supports for the construction.

On each side of this base panel 1 and articulated at its long edges 3 around an axis 4, the construction comprises two side panels 5 and 6, the same length as the panel 1 and of width equal to the height of the box as forms the construction in its folded state. This width will be of the order of 2 meters so that the overall height of the box is of the order of 2.50 meters. Likewise, the width of the base panel 1 is also of the order of 2 meters so that the overall width of the box is of the order of 2.50 meters or a little less. These dimensions give the box a space corresponding to the accepted road gauge.

Pour une longueur de 12 mètres environ, on aura prévu de disposer par exemple sept vérins 7 et sept vérins 8.The actuation of the panels 5 and 6 around their articulation 4 is ensured by hydraulic cylinders 7, 8, housed in the thickness of the base panel 1 and coupled by articulations between on the one hand a spar of this base panel and on the other hand, the end wings of the panels 5 and 6. The number of cylinders coupled between the base panel and each side panel will of course depend on the length of the construction. For a length of approximately 12 meters, provision will be made for example to have seven jacks 7 and seven jacks 8.

The free edge of each of the panels 5 and 6 carries a hinge pin 9 for a structure 10, 11 consisting of two perpendicular panels 12, 13 for the structure 10 and 14, 15 for the structure 11. The width of the panels 12 and 14 which are directly articulated around the axis 9 to the panels 5 and 6, is substantially equal to the half-width of the base panel 1, apart from the operating clearances. The width of the panels 13 and 15 is, apart from the operating clearances, equal to the width of the panels 5 and 6 (of the order of 2 meters). Cylinders 16 and 17, similar to cylinders 7 and 8 are arranged in the thickness of the panels 5 and 6 to maneuver the structures 10 and 11 in pivoting around the axes 9. It should also be noted that the articulations of the panels have abutment means not shown which limit their relative deflections to approximately 90 ° and by which they are stopped with respect to each other against the thrust or traction forces of the jacks.

The construction according to the invention comprises, in addition to this basic framework, two frames 18, 19, in the form of gantries, which are integral with the basic panel 1, and perpendicular thereto. The external contour of these frames is such that when the basic framework is in its folded position it is fully housed inside this contour. The frames 18, 19 are therefore parallel and constitute supports for two pairs of articulated arms 20 and 21 on the one hand and 22 and 23 on the other hand. Each arm can thus pivot in a plane parallel to that of the frames 18 and 19. The arms 20 and 21 are therefore articulated by one of their ends respectively to the frames 18 and 19 and are connected together by a beam 24 extending between their other ends. The beam 24 is therefore parallel to the panel 1 and, taking into account the relatively high position of the articulation axis of the arms 20 and 21 on the frames 18 and 19, this beam 24 can be housed inside the frames 18 and 19 in the low position or protrude above these frames in the high position. Likewise, a beam 25 connects the arms 22 and 23. In FIG. 1, the beam 24 is shown in the low position while the beam 25 is shown in the high position.

The pivoting actuation of the arm and beam assemblies is ensured by at least one hydraulic motor 26 per assembly as shown in FIG. 4. In the example described, two sets of pivoting beams are used. The invention also covers the case where a single beam is used, the length of the pivoting arms which support it being calculated so that in the high position, this beam is located substantially in the median plane of the construction.

The construction according to the invention also comprises a covering tarpaulin 27 which is fixed to the free edge of each of the last panels 13 and 15 of the base framework. In a simple embodiment of the invention, not using one or two ridge beams such as 24 and 25, the length of the sheet 27 is equal to the sum of the widths of the panels 1, 5, 6, 12 and 14. Thus when the basic framework is unfolded, the cover 27 is stretched and forms a flat cover for the construction. This arrangement requires that the side panels 13 and 15 are high enough for the space under the tarpaulin inside the construction to be sufficient. However, there is a risk of such a provision needing a height box outside of accepted standards for transport. The tilting ridge beams 24 and 25 overcome this drawback and, in the embodiment shown, the sheet 27 is of length greater than the above sum of the widths so well that when the construction is deployed, the passage of the ridge beams from the low position to the high position makes it possible to raise the center of the tarpaulin thus giving height to the interior volume of the construction while stretching this tarpaulin. In addition, a double slope roof is thus produced, which is favorable for the flow of rainwater. For example, for a construction whose dimensions have already been given, the height under the tarpaulin in the center can be of the order of 3 meters to 3.20 meters.

The cover 27, which constitutes the cover of the construction, can be extended by low shutters as shown at 28 in FIG. 1, the free edges of these low shutters being coupled to the ends of the panels 15, 14, 6, 13 , 12 and 5 as well as at the edge of the frames 18 and 19. These low shutters, the deployed construction, constitute the gable facades of the construction.

Advantageously, the construction of the invention has, beyond each of the frames 18 and 19, fixed boxes 29 and 30, the outline of which is inscribed inside the outline of the frames 18 and 19, the box 29 constituting an airlock entry inside the building while the box 30 constitutes a technical room in which will be housed for example a generator, a forced air heating device, a pressurized fluid power plant, and all the control members electrical or electronic components necessary to control the unfolding and automatic folding of the construction. The box 29 has door leaves 31, for example in glass, and one can provide protection panels for these leaves which, articulated in the upper and lower part of the box 29, could on the one hand be folded against these leaves and on the other hand, be folded down to respectively constitute an awning and an access ramp to the entrance airlock.

The construction according to the invention also comprises retractable feet arranged substantially at the four corners of the base panel 1. These retractable feet referenced 32 in the figures, are constituted by jacks whose body is carried by arms 33 articulated to the frames 18 and 19 around vertical axes. These jacks can thus take two positions: a storage position in which they are attached to the boxes 29 and 30 as illustrated in FIG. 4 and the front-left part of FIG. 1, and a service position in which they are distant from these boxes as shown in the front right part of Figure 1 or in dotted lines in Figure 3 in which they are arranged outside the volume of the construction in its folded position. Cylinders 34 ensure the passage of the feet from one to the other of the positions.

The implementation of the construction of the present invention takes place in the following manner.

The construction in its folded box-shaped state is generally placed on a transport platform by which it is brought to the site of use. On this site, the energy source constituted by the generator and the pressurized fluid unit contained in the technical room 30 is started up in order to have the necessary energy on the one hand for disembarking from the structure and on the other hand to its deployment. By controlling the actuation of the jacks 34, the retractable feet 32 are pivoted outside the platform which supports the construction in the folded position. The output of the rods of these jacks is then controlled. The feet are thus deployed, touch the ground and allow the assembly to be lifted to take it off from the platform that supports it. The platform can then be removed. By purging the jacks 32, the box is slowly lowered to the ground.

The construction is ready to be deployed. To do this, we first start by actuating the jacks 7 and 8 which tilt the panels 5 and 6 and the associated structures 10 and 11. During this pivoting which places the panels 5 and 6 horizontally, feet 35 form two candles which come out of their housing by gravity and come to bear on the ground. By then actuating the jacks 16 and 17, it causes the deployment of the structures 10 and 11, which leads to placing the small panels 12 and 14 in the extension of the panels 5 and 6 and the panels 13 and 15 in a vertical position, as represented on the right-hand part of FIG. 1. In the same way candles 35, integral with the panels 12 and 14 take their service position by gravity to rest on the ground. The construction floor is then completely constituted by the panel 1, the panels 5 and 6 and the panels 12 and 14. We then have a wide floor area of approximately 8 meters for the dimensions of the panels given above. (about 100 square meters).

The hydraulic motors 26 then control the rotation of the pivoting assemblies supporting the ridge beams 24 and 25 so as to place them in their high position, which makes it possible to tension the sheet 27 and the low shutters 28 which constitute the gable facades. .

The folding is done by reverse maneuvers and in reverse order, that is to say starting with the folding of the ridge beams then the folding of the structures 10 and 11 on the panels 5 and 6 and finally the lifting of the panels 5 and 6 day close the box inside the frames 18 and 19. In order to avoid pinching of the sheet 28, before proceeding to the folding, we will have arranged inside the construction, thanks to loops of attachment pending on the internal face of the cover of the low shutters, two elastic elements extending from one gable front to the other on each side of the frames 18 and 19, which will act on the cover 28 to pull it towards the interior of the construction during folding when it has lost its tension.

With regard to the embodiment of FIG. 5, on which we find some of the elements already described, it will be noted that each frame 18, 19 forms the support for an upper panel 40 which is movable vertically between a low position in which it forms the cover of the box (left part of FIG. 5) and a high position in which it forms the ridge part of the cover of the deployed construction (right part of FIG. 5). To pass from one to the other of these positions, the construction has jacks 4 which are housed in the vertical uprights of the frames 18 and 19. The structure is covered by two half-covers such as that visible 42 in FIG. 5 coupled by two parallel edges, respectively to the free edge of the structure 11 with perpendicular panels 14 and 15 and to the corresponding longitudinal edge 40a of the upper panel 4O.

Par ailleurs, les parois en pignon de cette construction ne sont plus ici constituées par une bâche telle que celle 28 de l'exemple précédent, mais par des panneaux 43 qui sont solidaires de chacune des structures telle que celle 11 à panneaux perpendiculaires, ces panneaux 43 étant articulés au voisinage des bords tels que celui transversal 15a du panneau 15 de manière à pouvoir être rabattu contre le panneau 15 pour le reploiement et dressé perpendiculairement à celui-ci lors du déploiement (comme représenté sur la figure 5).Furthermore, the gable walls of this construction are no longer here constituted by a sheet such as that 28 of the previous example, but by panels 43 which are integral with each of the structures such as that 11 with perpendicular panels, these panels 43 being hinged in the vicinity of the edges such that the transverse 15 a of the panel 15 so as to be folded against the panel 15 for the folding and upright perpendicularly thereto during deployment (as shown in Figure 5).

In this deployed position, the panel 43 is supported on the corresponding frame 18, 19 and is locked on a bracket 44 also foldable, which is integral with the angle post 15a of the structure (at the side edge of the panel 15).

To cover the gable pediment of this structure, it is possible to provide a floating tarpaulin cut to the shape of this pediment and the lower edge of which would be located under the upper edge of the panel 43. This upper tarpaulin portion could be assembled, at the time of folding, to outside the panel 4O to avoid its jamming between it and the frames 18, 19. To do this, it would be mounted on the sheet 42 by means of a sliding element. One can also plan to bring them back for example by means of zippers.
