Description

The invention relates to a lighting device with a base element and at least one lamp holder which can be fastened to the base element, the base element having a hole pattern and the lamp holder for fixing it to the base element being fixed in at least two holes in the hole pattern.

Such trained lighting devices are e.g. known from US-A-4,689,726. The base element is designed as a rigid structure, so to speak as a stand of the lighting device, to which the lamp holder is fixed by means of a fastening device. The lamp holder can be moved in the base element, for example in the vertical direction. This creates a certain possibility of variation in the arrangement of the lamp holder on the base element. It has been found to be disadvantageous that fastening devices must be provided for fixing the lamp holder to the base element, since otherwise a rigid fixing of the lamp holder is not possible.

From the post-published DE-U-89 15 298 U1 a lighting system has become known in which lamp holders can also be fastened in a hole pattern of the base element. However, fixing the lamp holder does not guarantee a secure hold for the lamp.

Starting from US-A-4,689,726, the invention has for its object to provide a lighting device in which the lamp holder can be attached to the base element in a simple manner and allows a high degree of variation in the arrangement.

This object is achieved in that the lamp holder is designed as a rod, that the rod engages in the holes in the hole pattern and that the base element and the lamp holder can be braced against one another by at least slight bending in such a way that they are jammed together due to the restoring force.

The hole pattern of the base element ensures a varied arrangement of the lamp holder, since the lamp holder is inserted through any two or more holes in the hole pattern and can thus be attached to the base element. The lamp holder is threaded from one direction into one hole and from the other direction into the other hole, so to speak, the lamp holder and / or the base element being at least slightly bent and thereby braced against one another. This tension, which results from the restoring force of either the base element or the lamp holder, exerts the clamping force with which the lamp holder is held in the holes in the hole pattern of the base element. The clamping force is sufficient to hold the lamp holder securely to the base element in any fastening position with a wide variety of fastening variations. The choice of the position of the holes or their spacing from one another is only decisive for the later position of the lamp holder, that is to say for its position relative to the base element, but not for the security of the fastening of the lamp holder on the base element.

The base element is advantageously designed as a straight or curved perforated strip. This base element can be used, for example, for standing or table lighting standing vertically with a stand base. However, it can also be used in a horizontal position in a ceiling lighting, where it is connected to the ceiling by means of suitable suspension devices. The perforated strip can be shaped as a straight strip or as a curved strip, for example as a circle or oval. Another embodiment provides that the base element is designed as a perforated plate or as another shaped body. Perforated panels of this type can be used, for example, individually or in combination as office ceiling lighting. Of course, the base element as a perforated plate can also represent a lighting device standing vertically with one or more lamp carriers arranged thereon. Instead of a perforated plate, the base element could also be designed, for example, as a perforated cube, perforated ball or the like with a perforated grid.

A preferred embodiment provides that the lamp holder has a luminous element at least at one end. The height and radiation direction of the luminous element can be adjusted via the lamp holder by suitable arrangement of the lamp holder on the base element, that is to say by suitable selection of at least two holes in the hole pattern. An adjustment or adjustment of the radiation direction or radiation height is easily possible in that the lamp holder, which is only jammed in the holes of the perforated grid, is shifted slightly or other holes of the perforated grid are selected. No one is required for this special fastening devices to be loosened and locked again.

The power supply for the luminous element takes place in a simple manner in that the lamp holder has power lines firmly connected to it. On the one hand, these power lines can be commercially available cables which, after the lamp holder has been fastened to the base element, are looped around the lamp holder and finally around the base element and connected to the voltage source. The power lines can also be designed as an additional decorative element.

Another embodiment provides that the power lines are fully or partially integrated in the lamp holder. In this embodiment, an additional cable to be looped around the lamp holder is dispensed with. The lamp holder now itself has the power lines, which are either arranged completely in the lamp holder, that is to say, for example, cast in or are encapsulated by the material of the lamp holder. However, the power lines can also be arranged in the lamp holder in such a way that they are only partially enclosed by it, that is to say they are accessible from the outside over their entire length. In a further embodiment, this accessibility is achieved in a simple manner in that the power lines are arranged on the outer surface of the lamp holder. The power lines are designed such that the section of the power lines projecting beyond the outer circumference of the lamp carrier is suitable for power tapping or for power input. Current can thus be fed into the power lines over the entire length of the lamp carrier and current can be drawn from the power lines at any point on the lamp carrier. So it is not necessary that the filament exclusively are arranged at the end of the lamp holder. It is also conceivable that a plurality of light fixtures are arranged on the lamp support, for example over its entire length, the light fixtures being connected to the power lines at their attachment point. For this purpose, the lighting device is advantageously operated with low voltage.

A simple current tapping from the power lines of the lamp holder can advantageously be achieved in that the power lines projecting beyond the outer periphery of the lamp holder are arranged regularly distributed over the periphery of the lamp holder. For example, the plus line can be arranged on one side and the minus line on the other side of the lamp holder, so that the filament can already act on these two power lines with its connecting terminals.

An advantageous current feed into a lamp holder designed in this way can be done in a simple manner in that the hole pattern of the base element receiving the lamp holder has contact elements for current transmission to the power lines projecting beyond the outer circumference of the lamp holder. If the lamp holder is now fastened in the base element via at least two holes of the hole pattern, the current required for the operation of the luminous elements can be fed into the lamp holder via the contact elements which engage the power lines projecting beyond the outer circumference of the lamp holder. The contact elements rest only on the voltage lines and only serve for current transmission, but not for fixing the lamp holder to the base element. They also do not hinder a movement of the lamp holder in the holes in the base element.

A good clamping effect for fixing the lamp holder in the base element is achieved in that the size of the holes in the hole pattern is approximately 1.5 to 4 times larger with respect to the cross section of the lamp holder. This has the advantage that the lamp holder generally does not pass through the holes axially, but is fixed in an inclined position in the base element. The lamp holder is in each case in contact with two perforated edge sections which are opposite one another in a point-symmetrical manner. Furthermore, large holes facilitate the insertion of the lamp holder into the base element and the adjustment of the lamp holder to correct the position.

If it is desired that the power lines are not visible, for example through a loop around the lamp holder, a special embodiment of the invention provides that the power lines fully integrated in the lamp holder open out from the ends of the lamp holder. Accordingly, at one end the luminous element can be connected to the lamp support either rigidly or pivotably via a joint and connected to the power lines opening out of this end. The power is supplied at the other end of the lamp holder, where the power lines protruding from this end are connected to a voltage source.

The lamp holder advantageously has a round or angular cross section. In the case of round lamp holders, the cross section is, for example, circular or oval, and in the case of an oval cross section the bending direction of the lamp holder is predetermined by the different bending resistance moments. For example, the power lines open to the outside can advantageously be arranged in the plane of the long semiaxis, so that they are always on both sides, that is, when the lamp holder is bent lie in two mutually parallel planes, and as a result the tapping or the introduction of current is considerably simplified.

Preferred embodiments provide that the lamp holder is made of acrylic, glass fiber or spring steel and / or the base element is made of metal. This ensures that the lamp holder is flexible and can therefore reach through at least two of the holes in the grid by suitable bending. The base element, which is advantageously made of aluminum as an extrusion, has the necessary rigidity to fix the lamp holder.

The base element preferably has a stand if the lighting device is to be used as a floor or table lamp or it has a suspension device if the lighting device is used as a ceiling lamp.

In the exemplary embodiment of a lighting device 1 shown in FIG. 1, which essentially consists of a base element 3 designed as a perforated strip 2 and a lamp holder 4 with a luminous element 5 attached to it. The perforated strip 2 is suspended via a suspension device 6 on a ceiling, not shown, so that the lighting device 1 represents a ceiling lamp. The base element 3 also has a plurality of holes 8 forming a hole pattern 7, the holes 8 being provided in the base element 3 in a regular sequence. However, the holes 8 can also be arranged irregularly or according to a special grid scheme in the base element 3.

The lamp holder 4 is essentially designed as a rod 9 which passes through two holes 8 of the hole pattern 7. The rod 9 has been bent from its rest position, in which it assumes an essentially elongated position, to the position of use. In this position of use, the lamp holder 4 has the The tendency to stretch so that the two regions of the lamp support 4 which pass through the base element 3 lie against the edges of the holes 8, as a result of which the lamp support 4 is jammed with the base element 3. In this position, the lamp holder 4 is securely fixed on the base element 3 against slipping or falling out. However, the lamp holder 4 can be easily moved in the holes 8 to adjust the radiation angle of the filament.

In the exemplary embodiment of an illumination device 1 shown in FIG. 2, the base element 3 is designed as a perforated plate 10. This perforated plate 10 has holes 8 arranged in rows and columns, which form the hole pattern 7. In this exemplary embodiment too, the lamp support 4 is designed as a flexible rod 9 and passes through two of the holes 8 of the hole pattern 7 and is clamped in it by bending from its original elongated position. The perforated plate 10 can either be combined individually as a ceiling element or in several to form a ceiling lamp. In this case, specially provided pins 11 engage in receptacles 12, the pins 11 and receptacles 12 serving both for fixing the perforated plates 10 to one another and for power transmission, as will be described further below.

Diese Löcher 8 können entweder einen kreisrunden, einen ovalen oder einen hier nicht dargestellten eckigen Querschnitt aufweisen.FIG. 3 shows an exemplary embodiment of a base element 3, which can be used for a lighting device 1 designed as a standing or table lamp. This base element 3 consists of a perforated strip 2, which is erected vertically and has a stand 13 at its lower end. The perforated strip 2 has a tubular profile and is interspersed with the holes 8, which form the hole pattern 7, at a uniform distance. The holes 8 penetrate the perforated strip 2 orthogonal. A lamp holder (not shown in this FIG. 3) can now be guided through two of the holes 8 in accordance with the exemplary embodiments in FIGS. 1 or 2, the rod 9 being jammed in the holes 8 due to the deformation from its extended position. These holes 8 can have either a circular, an oval or an angular cross section, not shown here.

A secure stand of the lighting device 1 is achieved in that the stand 13 has a relatively large weight and has a much larger diameter than the diameter of the perforated strip 2. An increase in the possibility of variation in the construction of the lighting device 1 can be achieved in that the holes 8 are not arranged one above the other in a straight line, but rather are introduced into the perforated strip 2 along a spiral line. This creates the possibility that a plurality of lamp holders 4 can be arranged not only one above the other, but also at an angle to one another on the base element 3.

In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. A), the power lines 14 and 15 are completely integrated in the lamp holder 4, which can be done, for example, by pouring, overmolding or the like. The power lines 14 and 15 can have an insulating jacket, but they can also be embedded bare in the material of the carrier 4, provided that this material is an electrical non-conductor.

In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 4 b), the power lines 14 and 15 are only partially encompassed by the body of the lamp holder 4, so that they form part of the outer surface of the lamp holder 4. The power lines 14 and 15 can be designed such that they continue the course of the outer contour of the lamp holder 4, that is, they do not protrude, but they can also be designed as a protruding component.

In the embodiment of Figure 4 c), the two power lines 14 and 15 are placed on the outer surface of the body of the lamp holder 4 and consist for example of a film, a vapor-deposited layer, a rolled wire or the like.

In the embodiment of Figure 4 a), the two power lines 14 and 15 are only accessible at the two ends of the lamp holder 4, since they emerge from the body of the lamp holder 4 there. In the exemplary embodiments in FIGS. 4 b) and 4 c), the two power lines 14 and 15 are accessible over the entire length of the lamp holder 4, so that either current can be fed in or drawn off at any point.

An example of a device for such a current feed is shown in FIG. 5, which shows a section VV of FIG. This section shows the base element 3 designed as a perforated strip 2, which is pierced by a hole 8. A substantially sleeve-shaped insert 16 is provided coaxially in the base element 3 and extends approximately over 270 ° of the inner circumference of the base element 3. This insert 16 also has an opening 17 which is aligned with one of the holes 8. The base element 3 and the insert 16 are penetrated by the lamp holder 4, which is shown here partly in section, via the holes 8 and the opening 17. The lamp holder 4 has power lines 14 and 15, which correspond one of the embodiments of Figure 4 b) or Figure 4 c) are arranged on the body of the lamp holder 4. Provided on the insert 16 are two spring clips 18 and 19 designed as contact elements, which have a substantially radially inwardly extending first leg 20 and a radially outwardly extending second leg 21 arranged at an angle thereto. The transition region 22 from the first leg 20 into the second leg 21 is essentially rounded. The two spring clips 18 and 19 are arranged on the insert 16 in such a way that the distance between the two transition regions 22 is smaller than the thickness of the lamp holder 4, so that the two transition regions 22 rest securely and under spring force on the two power lines 14 and 15. Since the insert 16 with the spring clips 18 and 19 extends at least over part of the length of the base element 3, it does not matter which or which of the holes 8 the lamp holder 4 passes through, since it is in each of the holes 8 with the two spring clips 18 and 19 comes into contact. If the two spring terminals 18 and 19 are now live, this current is introduced into the two power lines 14 and 15 and can be tapped from them again at any location on the lamp holder 4.

The other exemplary embodiment has a lamp holder 4 in which no power lines are provided. The supply of the luminous element 5 takes place here via a power line 23, starting from the luminous element 5 around the lamp holder 4, partly around the base element 3 and finally is wound around the suspension device 6, and which is then finally connected to a voltage source.

Beim Ausführungsbeispiel der Figur 2 dienen die Zapfen 11 und die Aufnahmen 12 zur Weiterleitung des Stromes in sich an die Lochplatte 10 anschließende weitere Lochplatten 10.FIG. 1 shows the possibility that two different lighting systems, for example with low voltage and normal household voltage, can be combined with one another with the lighting device according to the invention. Current can be introduced for the low voltage, for example, via the suspension device 6 into the base element 3 or into the spring clips 18 and 19 of the insert 16. In the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 2, the pegs 11 and the receptacles 12 serve to forward the current into further perforated plates 10 adjoining the perforated plate 10.
