Definitions
- the invention relates to a water tap, in particular for washbasins and / or sinks, with a housing that can be connected to the supply line network and a water outlet designed as a pull-out hose shower, wherein a ventilation device with at least one closure element is provided in the fitting housing to prevent the suction of process water through the hose shower is.
- a ventilation device with at least one closure element is provided in the fitting housing to prevent the suction of process water through the hose shower is.
- Such devices are known from the documents DE-U-89 08 204, DE-A-36 03 503 and DE-A-38 05 462. With these ventilation devices arranged in a secondary duct, it is necessary to provide special throttles or check valves in the feed lines or the mixed water line in order to throttle the air volume flow during the suction process.
- the invention has for its object to improve the fitting specified in the preamble of claim 1. This object is achieved in that the outlet channel is guided over a first closure member of the ventilation device, the closure member being axially movable between two valve seats, each enclosing through-openings and being axially flowed by the outflowing water, while the outflow of water radially between the both valve seats from the ventilation device and the connection to the atmosphere can be established via the lower passage opening. Further refinements of the invention are specified in claims 2 to 5.
- the advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the additional throttles or check valves required to reduce the air flow volume when sucking back, which are required in the known ventilation devices, can be eliminated, since such throttling is additionally achieved with the proposed device.
- the ventilation device can be arranged completely concealed in the water tap fitting and is therefore invisible to the user.
- the outlet fitting shown in FIG. 1 in the form of a sink mixer is provided with a fitting housing 1 provided, which has a tubular mounting base 11 with which it can be passed through an opening in the sink and fastened to the sink with the aid of fastening means 110.
- a pivotable shower hose guide 14 is arranged on the area of the faucet housing 1 above the sink, while a mixing valve cartridge 6 is attached to the upper end face and is provided with an actuating handle 61 that can be moved in two degrees of freedom to adjust the water temperature and to regulate the amount of mixed water dispensed.
- the supply of cold and hot water takes place via the cold water line 2 and the hot water line 3, which are led through the tubular fastening base 11 into the fitting housing 1 and are supplied to the mixing valve cartridge 6 via channels.
- the mixed water generated is fed through a mixed water drain hole 13, an outlet channel 12 and a hose 41 to a hose shower 4, which is inserted into the shower hose guide 14 as a stationary outlet on the one hand and can be used as a pull-out hose shower on the other hand.
- a ventilation device 5, which is arranged in an approximately cylindrical housing 50, is provided in the stepped mixed water outflow bore 13 of the fitting housing 1. The ventilation device 5 combined in the housing 50 can thus be inserted and removed as a structural unit in the mixed water drain hole 13. For axial securing, the ventilation device 5 rests on the shoulder on the one hand in the stepped mixed water drain hole 13 and, on the other hand, on the mixing valve cartridge 6 after it has been put on.
- the ventilation device 5 consists, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 2 and 3, of two closure members arranged vertically one above the other 51,52, wherein the first closure member 51 is arranged between two valve seats 53,53a axially movable.
- the two closure members 51, 52 are designed as balls, the second closure member 52 only cooperating with a third valve seat 53b and serving to prevent dripping water from escaping. All three valve seats enclose through openings 54, 54a, 54b.
- the first spherical closure member 51 is pressed onto the valve seat 53a by gravity and the second spherical closure member 52 is pressed onto the valve seat 53b by gravity. In this position, a ventilation channel 56, which is connected to the atmosphere, is blocked by both closure members 51, 52.
- Drainage channels 55a are formed in the wall of the housing 50 between the two valve seats 53 and 53a and are connected to the outlet channel 12 in the valve body 1.
- the hose 41 for the hose shower 4 is connected downstream to the outlet channel 12.
- the ventilation duct 56 leads into the interior of the fitting housing 1 to the shower hose guide 14 and the tubular mounting base 11, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 1, so that the connection to the atmosphere is established via the shower hose guide 14 and the mounting base 11.
- the facility works as follows: The mixed water generated in the mixing valve cartridge 6 is fed via an inlet channel 55 through the passage opening 54 to the first closure member 51 and thus, in addition to gravity, presses the closure member 51 onto the valve seat 53a. The flow of mixed water then reaches the outlet channel 12 radially via the outlet channels 55a and from here via the shower hose 41, the hose shower 4 with an outlet mouthpiece 42 outdoors. This normal operating situation is indicated by the arrows in FIG. 2.
- the two spherical closure members 51, 52 are raised by vacuum and air can flow in through the ventilation duct 56 through the through openings 54b and 54a, so that the outlet channel 12 communicates with the atmosphere.
- the spherical closure member 51 lies against the upper valve seat 53 and throttles or seals the passage opening 54. There is thus a separation of the water path from the mixing valve cartridge 6 to the hose shower 4. Any existing leaks to the inlet channel 55 are reduced by the air inlet through the passage opening 54b, so that sucking back through the hose 41 from the hose shower 4, which may be in service or dirty water, is excluded.
- the separation of the mixing valve cartridge 6 from the hose shower 4 is shown in FIG. 3, the arrows indicating the flow directions.

Description
The invention relates to a water tap, in particular for washbasins and / or sinks, with a housing that can be connected to the supply line network and a water outlet designed as a pull-out hose shower, wherein a ventilation device with at least one closure element is provided in the fitting housing to prevent the suction of process water through the hose shower is.
Such devices are known from the documents DE-U-89 08 204, DE-A-36 03 503 and DE-A-38 05 462. With these ventilation devices arranged in a secondary duct, it is necessary to provide special throttles or check valves in the feed lines or the mixed water line in order to throttle the air volume flow during the suction process.
The invention has for its object to improve the fitting specified in the preamble of

The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the additional throttles or check valves required to reduce the air flow volume when sucking back, which are required in the known ventilation devices, can be eliminated, since such throttling is additionally achieved with the proposed device.
In addition, it is achieved with the design according to the invention that the ventilation device can be arranged completely concealed in the water tap fitting and is therefore invisible to the user.

The outlet fitting shown in FIG. 1 in the form of a sink mixer is provided with a

The
The facility works as follows:
