Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for producing molded parts for foundry purposes.
Shaped parts, such as sand core or mask parts or the like, for foundry purposes, which are usually connected to one another, for example put together to create a complete sand mold, such as a sand core or a - mask shape, should usually be so closely related in terms of time and space are produced so that they are automatically connected or merged with one another immediately after production, a high degree of manufacturing accuracy being necessary with regard to the automatic connection.
The invention has for its object to provide a device and a method for producing such molded parts, which improves the manufacturing process while achieving the aforementioned objectives or the production using foundry-specific different molding materials and the associated molding material-specific processing parameters, and in particular the working and to reduce the time required.
To achieve the object, the invention proposes: A device for the production of molded parts for foundry purposes, such as sand cores or masks or the like, with a tool unit for at least two molded parts, each with at least two shooting heads and sand magazines with separate shooting hood reject areas, the shooting heads each can be acted upon by its own shooting air sources, and a method for producing molded parts for foundry purposes, such as sand cores or masks or the like, a tool having mold cavities for at least two molded parts of a mold to be connected to one another being moved under a shooting station, each of which has at least two shooting heads and sand magazines with separate shooting hood reject areas, and wherein sand is injected from the magazines into the tool unit cavities for the different molded parts with different pressure and different sand composition.
According to the invention, therefore, a tool unit is provided in which preferably two, and possibly also several, sand molded parts can be produced at the same time, preferably those molded parts which have to be connected to one another, for example put together, to form the overall shape. The invention forms the prerequisite for an automatic assembly, since on the one hand the molded parts are provided in close proximity to one another, and on the other hand can be adapted to one another with high precision. The invention is particularly useful when the molded parts to be produced are relatively small, so that the production of each individual molded part in its own form would require a multiplication of the work processes and thus an increased expenditure of work and time. It is essential that the device according to the invention is provided with its own firing air source in the case of a common firing hood but with different reject areas and, if appropriate, a common firing plate for each molded part. This makes it possible to work with the greatest possible but different working pressures. There are molded parts in which a lower working pressure is required for the production. If a higher working pressure were used here because another molded part requires such a higher working pressure, this could result in increased wear, which can be reduced by the possibility of adjusting the air pressure, so that in a preferred embodiment it is provided that the sand magazines Different pressures can be applied via the shooting heads.
Another preferred embodiment provides that several sand bunkers are arranged in such a way that the sand magazines can be separated from them, but can be filled at the same time. This makes it possible to work with different types of sand, which can also be adapted to the corresponding moldings. Another embodiment provides that the level sensors in the sand magazines are arranged at different heights. As a result, different amounts of sand can be filled into the sand magazines for the individual molded parts and not just the same quantities, which would then basically only allow the production of the same molded parts or of molded parts with the same volume in one tool unit. The own shooting air sources assigned to the corresponding molded parts also allow different shooting times.
Further preferred embodiments of the method provide that sand from different sand bunkers is filled into interconnected sand magazines up to different heights and that the sand is blown into the tool unit cavities for the molded parts with different shot times.
Overall, the invention offers a variable solution for difficult molded parts, ie difficult sand cores and masks with individual adjustment of the fill level of the molded materials in the shooting unit before the shot. The invention also offers shorter sand paths and thus better and higher compression of the molded parts. Compared to known devices, a reduction in Shooting pressures are made, which in turn results in an extension of the tool life.
