These horizontal displacements are necessary to align the bars with the shears according to the compartment (wider or less wide in relation to the diameter of the bar) in which the bars are loaded.
  • thrust elements can cooperate perfectly with the compartments produced by the partition elements and so that there is no reciprocal movement
  • guides are included which cooperate with the chains and keep them aligned, at least in the segment where the chains are opposite to each other.
  • These guides may be stationary or adjustable or may exert a resilient thrust towards the bars.
  • Guide rolls included in the supports enter the guides advantageously before the thrust elements begin thrusting the bars.

  • the drawing assembly 10 is equipped with an alignment cylinder-piston actuator 33, which is anchored to the base 14 of the assembly 10 and provides horizontal displacements.
  • the first and second shears 11-12 in this case consist of a stationary blade 37a and movable blade 37b; the blades 37a-37b are fitted to a rotary cradle 34, which can be positioned at two positions at 180 to each other by a drive unit 35.
  • the blades 37a-37b too comprise compartments 26 coordinated with the compartments 26 of the drawing assembly 10, so that the bars become positioned in these compartments too as in those of the drawing assembly 10.
  • the blades are a stationary blade 37a and a movable blade 37b.
  • the movable blade 37b possesses advantageously, in the direction of feed, a development 36 diverging from the vertical downwards towards the bottom of the compartment 26 so as to assist the shearing action.
