Description

The present invention relates to an outlet, in particular for introducing cold air into a room, with a housing made of side walls and a cover plate on the room side with outlets.

Outlets for introducing fresh air into interiors are known and widely used. In most cases, these are entire ventilation systems, ceiling or wall outlets on the one hand having a swirl outlet or the like and on the other hand having a connecting piece, in particular to a tunnel case, for an air duct.

Such systems are suitable for introducing fresh air into rooms, in particular from the outside, with the aid of fans or the like. The air is guided over long distances and is hardly cooled. That is, it is largely passed on as it is received from the outside.
If the temperature in a room is changed, in particular if it is to be cooled, it is necessary to install a unit in a ventilation system, which ensures appropriate cooling. In most cases, a complex air-conditioning system is set up for such requirements or cooling units are installed which are operated with special coolants, in particular with coolants which are harmful to the environment or difficult to dispose of (CHC).

For smaller rooms, air conditioning means a great deal of financial and labor-intensive work, which is often disproportionate to the benefits achieved. A plant with special coolants is to be bypassed today for reasons of environmental protection. In addition, in most cases, major structural changes must be made to both facilities.

The inventor has now set himself the task of designing an outlet which, on the one hand, does not require any major structural changes for installation and is easy to install almost anywhere and, on the other hand, does not represent a burden on the environment, also with regard to later disposal.

An outlet of the above leads to the solution of this task. Type in which a refrigeration unit is inserted in the housing.

With such an outlet, the refrigeration unit consists of a round or approximately square casing, which forms a shoulder upwards. The shoulder forms a particularly round opening, which has a cylindrical, chimney or funnel-shaped air inlet. At the bottom, the casing forms angled edges with which it rests or is attached to a cover plate with outlets assigned to the housing on the room side.

A cooling unit is used within the casing. This refrigeration unit consists of pipes, in particular water pipes, which run horizontally and perpendicularly to one another and are connected to one another. For better delivery of the cooling, the fins are adjacent to each other, these fins preferably consisting of approximately rectangular, metallic, thin-walled plates. Corresponding bores in the fins are penetrated by the tubes and are firmly connected to the tubes by soldering or welding points, in such a way that they form gaps through which a corresponding air flow can pass.

The pipes of the cooling unit are preferably filled with tap water, for which they have a connection to a tap water system.

Furthermore, according to the invention, the pipes can be connected to a heat pump via a pipe system.

When the air flows through the cooling unit, the air cools down because the tap water in the cooling unit usually has a temperature of approx. 8 ° C. Conversely, heat is released from the air into the tap water. The tap water, which is so slightly heated, flows via a return line to the heat pump, releases the heat there via a heat exchanger, and then flows back down to a cooling unit via a flow line. On the one hand, very little tap water is consumed in this process, on the other hand, the heat obtained via the heat pump can be reused. It is conceivable that parts of the building located away from the sun are heated with this heat, or that it is used for heating domestic water.

The housing of the above The outlet has side walls, which preferably have recirculation slots or in which recirculation slots are punched or molded. Slats are arranged behind the air vents, which are adjustable by hand, mechanically or electronically, hydraulically, pneumatically or the like. They ensure that the outlet is supplied with circulating air and that the best air flow is achieved.

Within the cylindrical, chimney or funnel-shaped air outlet, two fans are preferably installed side by side, which can be switched individually and are arranged such that one fan acts on one unit half.

If a lot of cooling is required, both fans are in operation so that the entire cooling unit is flushed with circulating air. As a result, a lot of cold is released into the room.

If less cooling is required, a fan switches off so that only one fan runs over half of the cooling unit. This is an enormous advantage, so that in the case of a small air line, only about half of the cooling unit is acted on, so that the outlet still functions perfectly even with a minimal supply of air.

However, it is also conceivable that only one fan, which can be operated in several stages, for example, is installed within the air lump-sum fund.

The outlet, especially the fans, are controlled by a room thermostat so that a constant room temperature can be obtained. This room thermostat can also be connected to the heat pump so that the circulation of the tap water is also set when the fans are not running.

In order to ensure a very good and quick, yet draft-free mixing of the room air, the above-mentioned cover plate has special, in particular radial, approximately star-shaped slots, which in turn are assigned to specially arranged lamellae inside the housing.

The great advantage of such an outlet with refrigeration unit is that no additional energy is required for cooling units with the appropriate refrigerant, such as (CHC). In air and air conditioning systems in particular, cooling is very energy-intensive and expensive. Normal tap water can be used with this outlet. In conjunction with the heat pump, this device is extremely energy-saving. Another advantage is that the installation can be carried out extremely easily and practically by any installer or heating specialist.

An outlet R according to the invention consists of a housing 1 with side walls 2 and an approximately square cover plate 3. The cover plate is provided with slots 4 which, in the preferred exemplary embodiment, are arranged radially in a star shape.

The slots 2 are molded or assigned in the interior of the housing 1 lamellae 8, which are set so that a very fast, yet draft-free flushing of the room is achieved by a very good induction of an air flow guided from the inside.

On the other side of the cover plate 3, the housing 1 is covered with a plate 5, from which laterally edges 6 protrude which partially overlap the side walls 2. The plate 5 is finally fixed by fastening elements 7 such as rivets or the like, which penetrate both the edges 6 and the side walls 2.

On the side walls 2 of the housing 1, recirculated air slots 9 are recessed or incorporated, behind which slats 10 are arranged in an adjustable manner. The fins 10 are set so that the best possible desired supply air can get into the interior of the housing 1.

A refrigeration unit 11 is inserted into the housing 1. The cooling unit 11 essentially consists of a casing 12, a cooling unit 13 and two fans 14 and 15 assigned to the cooling unit 13.

Mit diesen Seitenstreifen 17 sitzt die Umkleidung 12 auf der Abdeckplatte 3.The casing 12, which may be square, for example, has side parts 16, from which side strips 17 protrude toward the cover plate 3. With these side strips 17, the casing 12 sits on the cover plate 3.

The casing 12 forms a shoulder 18 towards the plate 5 of the housing 1, which shoulder 18 forms a round opening 19. The opening 19 is surrounded by a cylindrically shaped air inlet 20, which is formed with a bend 21. With this bevel 21, the air inlet 20 is fixed to the shoulder 18 by fastening elements 22, such as rivets, screws or the like.

The cooling unit 13, which is located within the casing 12, consists essentially of at right angles to each other and horizontally and vertically interconnected tubes 23, 23 flat, approximately rectangular fins 24 are attached to these tubes, so that these fins 24 preferably perpendicular to Cover plate 3 are.

These fins 24 are arranged very closely one behind the other and thus ensure a very good temperature exchange by forming a large surface.

According to FIG. 3, the tubes 23 have a connection (not shown in more detail) to an inlet 25 and to a return 26.

Two fans 14 and 15 are installed within the air inlet 20 and can be switched separately. The fans 14 and 15, through their operation, cause air to flow through the air slots 9 into the housing 1 and from there into the air inlet 20. From here, the air from the fans 14 and 15 is blown through the fins 24 via the tubes 23, with a heat exchange taking place. The cooler temperature caused by water is transferred to the air flow and at the same time heat is released from the air flow to the water. The water thus heated in the tubes 23 flows via the return 26 into a heat pump 27. Here, the heat is extracted from the water again, it cools down to about the tap water temperature and flows via the feed 25 back to the cooling unit. The heat extracted by the heat pump can be used, for example, to heat parts of the building away from the sun or to heat domestic water.

Dabei regelt der Raumthermostator 28 vorwiegend den Betrieb der Ventilatoren 14 und 15.The entire outlet R with the refrigeration unit 11 is controlled by a room thermostat 28. The room thermostat 28 mainly controls the operation of the fans 14 and 15.

If strong room cooling is required, the room thermostat 28 switches both fans 14 and 15 to operation. With only slight cooling, only one, for example the fan 14, is switched to operation, so that only half of the cooling unit 13 is acted upon by air.

Figure imgb0001
If no cooling is required at all, the room thermostat 28 disables both fans 14 and 15. In this case, the room thermostat 28 also turns off the heat pump 27.
