Beim Einziehen des Wischtuches 5 in die Wischtuchkammer 16 wandert die Quetschrolle 23 aus der strichpunktiert dargestellten Stellung in Pfeilrichtung 25 in die dargestellte Endstellung über dem mittleren Führungsrollenpaar 24. Das Wischtuch wird durch weiteres Einziehen gequetscht und das Wasser ausgedrückt. Die Führungsrollen 20, die geringfügig über den Rollenträger 19 überstehen, lassen das Wischtuch leicht in die Wischtuchkammer 16 gleiten.The wiper device is shown in FIG. 1 in the wiping position. Claims (6)

  1. Mopping apparatus having a handle (1), a mopping head (4) with a mopping cloth (5) and a pressing mechanism (3) disposed behind the mopping head (4), the mopping cloth (5) being detachably fastened to a pull mechanism (6) which leads, running in guideways, from both lateral ends (8) of the mopping head (4) into the pressing mechanism (3) and through this to a pull handle (2) and which guides the mopping cloth (5), from a wide-area cleaning position to a press position, into the pressing mechanism (3) configured as a box-shaped casing (14), characterised in that the pressing mechanism (3) is configured such that it is connected in a non-positive and, at least in the area of the guideways, also in a positive-locking manner to the handle (1), the casing (14) being equipped in the inlet area (15), on both sides of the guideways, with at least two guide rollers (20) and a squeezing roller (23) respectively, the said squeezing roller being mounted in angled runners (22) running from the outside to the inside.
  2. Mopping cloth according to Claim 1, characterised in that the guide rollers (20) are mounted on a roller carrier (19), which is inserted into the casing (14) from the front.
  3. Mopping cloth according to Claim 1 and 2, characterised in that the roller carrier (19) is equipped with three rollers and in that the squeezing roller (23) is situated, in the press position, approximately above the central guide rollers (24).
  4. Mopping cloth according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the casing (14) comprises a mopping cloth chamber (16) and a thereto attached handle and roller carrier channel (17, 18).
  5. Mopping cloth according to Claim 4, characterised in that the mopping cloth chamber (16) is reduced in height behind the guide rollers by about one-third.
  6. Mopping cloth according to Claim 3 or 5, characterised in that the handle channel (17) is matched behind the roller carrier channel (18) approximately to the contour of the handle.
